Phone repair apparently left the waterproofing faulty so two weeks after a screen repair it was water damaged and dead. At least if you read this then realise this place doesn’t do the great job they advertise. At least save yourself some money and get a cheap screen repair.

I strongly advise against bringing your Samsung phone to this store. To begin with, this company does not have a customer service phone number to call, you can only email and so far I have yet to receive a response from them. I brought my Samsung S22 Ultra for a simple screen repair on Saturday. When I booked online, the website stated that it would take 2-4 hours. I dropped off the phone and received an email over two hours later to state that the phone could not be repaired and I needed to pick it up. When I called the store, the 'technician' stated that they need to call Samsung HQ for a reset code to fix the screen and the office is only open Monday to Friday. I asked why the website allowed me to book this appointment and why he accepted it and he could not provide an explanation. I travelled all the way from Oxfordshire and they would not even offer the courtesy of a discount when they eventually fixed the phone on Monday. The technician stated that he has asked his manager to update the website to stop this as an ongoing problem but obviously they don't care enough about their customers to bother. Truly awful service across the board. The technician flatly denied responsibility and stated that the problem was with Samsung due to their policies. I'll be bringing my phone to the local repair shop next time. Terrible company.

Weak quality MacBook batteries sold in their shops. I asked them to replace the old battery in my Mac to a new one that died in 2,5 months. The company replaced it with another one. The second battery after 1,5 years was already on 60% and caused keyboard issues on the Mac. I don’t recommend their service.

This is one of the most un ethical and disgusting companies in the UK. I took a brand new iPad Pro 12 to be repaired because the port was not working . In two days the send me an email sending me they cannot fix it because of the logic board. Only to my horror they return the screen cracked ! Please do not go to them . They do not know what they are doing and are experimenting on the iPads

I turned up on time for my appointment to replace the battery in my pixel 3. I had made this appointment 9 days previously. I was told by the person in charge of the outlet in Westfield Stratford, that there was no pixel 3 battery available to him in stock. It was clear from my booking that I needed a replacement battery for a pixel 3. There absolute was absolutely no attempt to contact me in advance and tell me not to waste my time travelling there. The best the person behind the counter could do was (literally) to shrug his shoulders at me and tell me to complain to customer services. To add insult to injury - the "Customer service" response was that "the part you have selected is currently marked as End of Line within our system". Yet I was allowed to book an appoinment for replacement of that part. I won't be going back

I sent in my ipad pro with one crack on screen ,they said they could not fix this ipad,so I thought ok no problem ,they sent my money back and said ipad on the way back to me.When I recived my ipad I could see how they could not repair it ,it had another break and bent in the middle the packing envelope that I sent to them was the same one I got back with ipad inside .There is no damage to the envelope at all no bends rips or holes. So I know that it happened in there work place. If it was like this when I had it I would have put it in the bin as it was no good to anyone. Now they wont deal with the problem at all just making silly remarks like ctv camera would not see it as it was to small to see in there workplace , no help at all from them .bad bad place to send your device to get a repair dont do it . I will spread my review about wherever I can,as I dont think they will let this review on there site..

I took my iPhone XR to have a new battery put in and since then it's not charging properly, turning itself off randomly and today I got a message asking me if I wanted to factory reset Craig's phone. Who is Craig? I took the phone back and they changed the battery but it's not better. I'm booked in with Apple now and will try and get a refund from ismash. Not worth the saving as in the end it'll cost more. Stick with Apple genuine engineers and parts

I took iSmash insurance after replacing the phone screen with them. I was told I had to use their protection case to qualify for the insurance in case the screen breaks again. I dropped my phone from 30 cm and the back cracked because their case is so flimsy and clearly didn’t protect my phone. Now I have to pay £100 to replace the original Apple back with their cheap replacement. Their advise was to use a different case and LIE to the insurance 😳 because they don’t believe in their own product! Fuming!

Had an iPad repaired after my son dropped it. They replaced the screen. My wife collected the device and all looked fine. At home i checked the device looked ok, went to put it back on the case I had for it and as soon as I rested my finger on the right hand of the screen I had lines all up the side. My wife took it back to the shop (Kingston branch) and they said I had broken it by pressing it too hard in the the case! Seriously how hard would you have to press down on a sreen pushing g it in to a case to cause the screen to fail. We are not talking about a crack in the screen it was a clear fault with the screen below the glass. Ridiculous response from the shop. I will steer clear in the future.

iPhone XS Brighton Branch Done a repair through insurance ( so had no choice. Repaired the screen within an hour. Everything seemed ok. Except the touch screen would suddenly go loopy then start behaving again. Thought we could live with that. Went on holiday to Spain, first day and for the first time the phone run out of battery. Plugged it in to charge it. 2 hours later nothing Completely blank. No life, then 30 mins later it starts buzzing and the camera light flashing Oh! We thought it’s alive that’s a call. Grabbed it still flashing still buzzing. Still taking calls but screen is blank. People can’t get hold of my partner so call me afterwards. So we know the phones still working. Just the screen blank. This is a awful service and sparks will fly when we get home. My partner is severely disabled and relies on a phone to contact our son or myself.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY ; I got my New Apple phone screen replaced and opted for the expensive one that was only £30 cheaper than Apple, cost me £240, the screen is very unresponsive and the phone keeps flashing up with Non Apple Part being used, it is shocking quality BUT worst of all they have switched my battery, it would last 8 hours before and now is only 3-4 hrs, they have done it so I will buy a new battery, total crooks

Avoid at all costs. Paid £100 to have my iPad battery replaced, it costs the same as apple. After picking it up, the iPad now won’t charge and keeps restarting itself. It is not usable. I can’t get hold of the shop in Canary Wharf. Their customer service was poor and fairly disinterested in customers when I dropped it off. Apparently iPad performance was tested after the battery was replaced. This can’t be true as the battery is not charging

Absolutely terrible! Looks like the company policy is to defraud their customers. My son dropped his iPhone max and cracked the screen. We had it replaced at I-smash with a premium screen with a lifetime warranty + paid for an extra protective screen - £200 altogether. The screen stopped working 5 days after the “repair”. Went to Apple store who said that led element burnt due to poor quality of the screen installed. Now I-smash are refusing to honor the warranty and change the screen saying accidental damage is not covered, although there is no damage at all. I thought it's some rouge technician being silly, but customer service is telling me exactly the same thing. £200 waisted. Avoid!!!

Phone was doing the same thing after hours of collecting it but worse… waited longer than time specified. Couldn’t get through to store to complain and rebook to be repaired properly before I dropped it accidentally dropped it so now have no proof this wasn’t working before the drop! Waste of £125 would’ve been better to take it to a local little shop for £75! 9 days ago..

Everything about ismash is terrible. I took an iPhone SE there to get the home button repaired. The miserable woman serving at the desk and advised that ismash could replace the button but it would lose fingerprint ID functionality. The The liar at the desk also said it would take 10-12 days for the button to arrive and, if I left my phone there, they would fix it immediately so overall it could take up to 2 weeks. She took a £20 deposit for £30 job which is already ridiculous at 66%. It’s now 3 weeks later with no update. I called and was told that the liar at the desk meant 14 working days (very odd) but on top of that there could be delays from the suppliers side. I have given up and decided to order a new phone because I doubt I’ll ever see the SE again and if I do, I DO NOT believe it will be in working condition. I hope someone sees this and saves themselves the trouble. I wouldn’t go back if they offered free repairs. One of the absolute worst customer experiences I’ve ever had.

I went to get my phone screen fixed and within a month the screen changed to random colours when I turned it on and my off button stopped working and the screen glitches randomly.

Lets start with the head technician who was very unprofessional. Yelling, rude, didn't do his job correctly, didn't test my phone, didn't even take my details. In simple words they broke my phone and they asked me to pay full price as they use a small paragraph in their terms & conditions which blames everything on water damage. DO NOT USE. And head technician I hope you get fired.

I had the screen repaired on my iPhone XS a few months ago due to a screen bleed and opted for the premium service (which comes with a lifetime warranty and supposedly a better screen). Straight away the screen was less responsive than I was used to and occasionally glitched out for 20-30 seconds at a time (acting as though it was being touched when nothing was near it). At the time of repair I wasn't told that my phone would no longer be waterproof, nor was that information provided in any of the written information I was given on the day. The online terms and conditions do state this, but it's not at all obvious. As a result of my not knowing it was no longer waterproof, my phone has sustained water damage. The screen needs to be replaced again and the Face ID/front camera are both faulty and supposedly irreparable. I've contacted iSmash's head office and they have refused to accept any responsibility and will not even discount the screen replacement. I understand it's in their terms and conditions that phones will no longer be waterproof, but feel strongly that this should be made much, much clearer. Hopefully this review will serve as a warning to anyone else considering using their screen repair service! (The people working in the branch itself are wonderful and friendly and I have no issue with their service, just with head office’s policies!)
