“I thought the airplants would be a little bigger, and one that I picked had a lovely colour in the center of it, but the plant I received had no red in the center, I am hoping that as it grows it will turn out to have the red in the middle”

“This is not my first order and I'm always very pleased with the quality and variety of plants and shrubs. They are well packed and watered when delivered. The only disadvantage is a slow order processing up to 10 days but the shipping takes a day. Overall would recommend Johnstown Garden Centre to any plant lovers, it is still my favorite garden center in Ireland.”

“Ordering on line worked well. It all arrived quickly. I was surprised that the potato seed had chits 8 cm long as I would have expected them to have been better stored until sold but I guess they will still grow.”

“Hi recently purchased a Palm plant from Johnstown garden centre which I was not pleased with due to some brown foliage. When I made contact with them, there was no hesitation on sending on a replacement immediately which I was extremely grateful.”

“I recently purchased several plants from Johnstown Garden Centre. All had clearly just been repotted into bigger pots with some having been pot bound in a smaller pot. A David Austin rose appears to be a bare root rose just put into a pot. They all seem to be in good condition, it's very late in the year to buy plants which explains any being pot bound. Although if I had known the rose was bare root I would have planted it faster than I did. Delivery was good although a way up sticker on the box would have been helpful.”

“Fast delivery (2 days) - amazing for an Irish site. Well wrapped. Tree was as it said on the tin. Slight mouldy, damp smell from the branches possibly related to storage (manufactured 2016 on the box) but when left out for a day that evaporated. Very happy overall. Just what we wanted.”

“I have spent 1k approx in the last month or so and find staff very helpful. I Bought my 4th large planter at a cost of €129 yesterday. I bought the other 3 on Thursdays with other items so that I could avail of the pensioners discount. When I bought the 3 rd planter, i enquired about buying a 4th but was advised was told they were out of stock and would not be available til next year. Therefore,I was surprised that there were 2 planters in store when I called i advised the assistant that I was told that the last time that the planters were unavailable and I asked if I could get the discount. She declined. I’m a little disappointed. Other than that, I find the staff very helpful and the stock good.”

HI Mary, Thank you for the feedback. These pots were in fact sold out, but a customer then returned 2 after changing their mind, which is how 2 appeared back in store again. NO new deliveries had come in though. The THursday discount applies every Thursday and you are welcome to avail of that, but the system will not permit it on any other days.

“I am very pleased with my order which was delivered during the week but I have one question for you is it possible to put the plastic labels that come with the plants into an envelope instead of putting them underneath the pots as they are getting damaged in transit I know there are sticky labels on the pots themselves, perhaps this can be considered in the future. “Items arrived quickly. Only downside was the amount of packaging. A small sturdy bottle of cacti feed was wrapped in a plastic bag and bubble wrap, which i felt was excessive.”
