This is a vicious misleading service.
My partner used JustAnswer for a small legal matter and cancelled the membership right away. To our surprise we found that JustAnswer as been taking £50 on three occasions out of our account without our consent. I have now reported it to our bank. What a shock”
“I used JustAnswer for a small legal matter which should been only £5. Anyway I paid my £5 by card on line I didn’t apply for membership or set up direct debt it was supposed to be a one off. To my annoyance I found that JustAnswer as been taking £50 twice out of my account without my consent. I have now reported it to my banks fraudulent team. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS !!! 😡🤬. I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO USE THIS SITE, IT’S FRAUDULENT !!!!”
Just answers - doctors is completely fraud. They deducted 38pounds instead they mentioned as only 5ponds for online consulting. But now they deducted 38pounds with out informing. They suppose to inform regarding these terms while raising a request but they didn't. And there is no proper answering service. The just discuss want we are saying to them. There is not even 1% benefit from this service and lost my 38pounds. This is the way they do rob from people. Its really disgusting.”
“Im amazed at all the bad reviews on here, people obviously never read the terms before signing up, glad i didn't read these beofre i signed up, it clearly states when you sign up its a trial period then 50 a month after, unless you cancel which is very easy to do. They been a godsend for me in a long running legal battle I've had. The advice as been brilliant and if you pay extra they help with documents, if it wasn't for them i reckon i would have lost and saved me a fortune i was with lawyers prior who just send it each other letters and charge 300 pound a pop.”
“I contacted JUSTANSWER seeking medical help. The neurologist I got was no way a real doctor. The way he asked questions were very unprofessional. I'm a medical student and I know the way he interacted with me is not how a doctor is taught to interact with patients. He didn't even seem to know English properly. At the end the advice he gave me was something even a toddler could give. Please be warned, it's a complete waste of time an money!”
“Just Answer flashed up when emailing Argos Live Chat about specifications of a laptop I was wanting to buy. Technician said she didn't know and would ask an expert to contact me. Just Answer flashed upon my phone screen and I had to pay £1.00 to register before getting advice which fine as they let me know. Information given was only partially correct and had to go elsewhere tobe given correct advice. Later JustAnswer took £30.00 from my bank account. They never told me they were going to do this or the sum of money they were going to take. Immediately cancelled subscription J
Avoid this company at all costs.”
“Avoid at all cost. I agreed to £5 for a 7 day trial and was then charged £43.68 for a so called solicitor who could not help.
Then 3 days later they took another £35 and they have been taking £35 a month on my Credit card until I realised this and I have put a stop on it.
We will see what happens now.”

“Flipping scamming a****holes! Charged me £1 for a question the never answered and 6 months later realised they had been taking £35 from my account every month. Someone should make these thieves pay all this money back. Why is there even an option for 1 star? Where is the option for zero stars? They don’t make this clear on their website that you will be charged a hefty monthly subscription otherwise I wouldn’t sign up for this scam! I hope they die a painful death!”
“I was recently charged £30 for as part of JA's subscription terms. In their T&Cs, it clearly states 'You’ll first be charged when your 7-day trial ends'
I initially used your service on 21st March 2023.The charge to my credit card was taken on 27th March (they certainly did not hang about!). This is only 6 days and I was not given the opportunity to cancel by the seventh day.
I am extremely outraged and disappointed by their methods.
To add insult to injury, the information given by their so called 'expert' was very wide ranging and ambiguous. At least they should let the customer decide what value this information represents. But I suppose, looking at the dissatisfied customers that have posted on review pages, they would probably be bankrupt.
IMO it is not immediately apparent that the subscription will be taken from the customer so quickly, nor is there any notification. I regard it as a shady and dishonest way to operate and very likely the only reason the company still exists!”
“Paid by Debit £1 decide not to speak to an advisor then clicked cancel, that did not work. emailed them had an irrelevant immediate reply clearly nobody read my message. Blocked debit at my bank though they advise sometimes companies then take payments using a different i.d. and having a new debit card will not prevent access to my account.I assume just answer.co.uk is seperate company from justanswer.com. Debit card on internet never again!”
