“Don’t Buy!!! I purchased a work table, advertised to hold 1,000 lbs and put 150 lbs on it……did not last 5 mins. Leg broke off damaging my equipment and they said, oh well we don’t cover any damage to anything put on the table!! Wonder if it would have landed on someone!!!”

“Just bought a 7x7 shed at Costco. I contacted customer service after noticing one of the windows was scratched and scuffed. I was told I have to jump through hoops and fill out a customer service form, take pictures and send them as well as show proof of purchase. Then and only then would they consider sending you another window which would take 7-14 days. Gee thanks Keter. I really appreciate the ease and efficiency of getting a damaged part replaced right in the middle of building the damned thing. I’ve had Chinese built items I purchased through Amazon respond 10x better. And were willing to ship the missing or damaged part immediately. Never again Keter.”

“I ordered a Store It Out Nova Storage Box on the 1st July 2024. What follows is my explanation of why you shouldn't order a Keter product.
The unit arrived seven days later. Keter, for good reason, make it clear in the manual that you should check all the parts. This will be no surprise to anyone who has read any of the other reviews, but the base of the unit had a plastic part that had snapped off, and they had sent two right walls, and no left one. Pretty standard. Keter are clearly in the middle of a huge issue with their quality control (as you can see by the request to email Escalations before leaving a review). My hope was that as this was so common, the next bit would go smoothly.
Sadly not. The required parts were not in stock. I was told these could go on back order, or I could use their collect and replace service. They had my money, I needed the unit, so unsurprisingly I asked for a replacement. They don't make this easy, as you have to send in a full report of the issues, together with photographic evidence. They also require you to package the unit back into the box, which isn't a small feat.
Surely they couldn't mess up the collect and replace service? Again, no surprises here, but Keter have chosen DX as their delivery partner. Twice they showed up at my door, with no email or text as to what day they might arrive, never mind a timeslot. But hey. They are cheap. So that's okay. I wasn't in. When they did arrive (you probably guessed this), they were there to collect, but had no record of a replacement. It had now been over two weeks since the original order. I should say that their staff were very quick to point out that Keter are not an easy company to deal with, so I can't blame DX for this too much.
Back to Keter. No, I'm not waiting in on the off chance, on some random day, a replacement may arrive. I asked for a refund as per the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Surely a company can't mess this bit up? Surely?
Despite asking for a refund on the 16th July, and chasing it every day, I was repeatedly told that customer services cannot process refunds. They can only 'request' it. This was clearly a delaying tactic, and so sadly we got very close to the point of starting a Section 75 chargeback with my bank.
One last go before banks and solicitors get involved. I remembered the Escalations Team. Tracy - thank you. Refund immediately processed. Apology received. Everything that should have happened in the last two weeks, sorted. But here's the rub. It shouldn't need escalations. How do vulnerable customers, those who aren't able to spend the effort chasing Keter, or those who lack the confidence to do so, supposed to get a resolution?
Do not buy from Keter. Just don't.

“Purchased a Keter shed Deco 7'x7'. What a beautiful shed (on paper). Sadly the shed is flimsy but also is not without problems during installation. I got as far as step 43 and had issues. You cannot call the company only email. I tried 3 times to fix the problem and it was not rectified. So thankfully I purchased thru Costco and got a full refund. Sadly I did not get a refund for the new shelves I bout from Keter.com. They sad that I would only get $42 back because restocking fees and such. Buyer beware! I do. It recommend this company!”

“5/2024 purchased the tall premiere shed. Putting together was not difficult. In order to keep the shed from bowing we added additional screws. The door hinges are not working. The top and bottom guides do not work with the hinges and the door comes off the guides. This is not going to last long in Arizona. We now see we made a mistake buying this shed. After reading the customer reviews, not going to waste anytime calling customer service. We are going to make our own adjustments to fix and when it falls apart we will buy a Tuff Shed!”
“I purchased 2 shelfs from home depot on May 14th. I shelf had all parts. The 2nd was missing 8 parts. I called customer service. You have to jump thru hoops for refund. I mentioned on my home depot card but need receipt pictures and list of all parts. Not worth the hassle. I find it curious that they have a sheet with phone number on it for missing parts. I guess it happens frequently. $36 shelf that sells in Walmart for $24. I will not be back”

“I had an issue with one of the brackets supplied with a shelving unit from Keter. It was the last pair of brackets I was using and found one of them was not cut correctly and didn’t fit. Keter’s only solution was to dismantle the shelves and return them so they could send me a new pack because apparently the brackets were “out of stock”. Not very sustainable really!
So beware - aftercare isn’t great!”
“I experienced an issue with the 230 Gal Keter Outdoor Storage Box where a part of the top broke off. When I reached out to the company for assistance, they requested my receipt, which I did not possess. Despite being willing to pay for a replacement top, I was surprised to receive an email stating that they would sell me a replacement top for approximately
$379. This seemed unreasonable, considering that I could purchase a newbox for $300. I felt disrespected.
