“The device only syncs randomly with my phone. I could try 10 times and nothing, then other random times it will work. Customer service told me to restart my phone every time, but that doesn't work either.”

“Sometimes daily, I have to re-install the app because the system tells me that the time and date are out of sync. When it tells me that the time and date are out of sync, it says it fixed it, but it no longer records the glucose and ketone tests I just did unless I uninstall and re-install. Then, it will last a day to three weeks before I have to uninstall and re-install all over again. Its very frustrurating.”

“After many years cycling in and out of keto, I am back at it and had to upgrade my mojo model. I am NOT a fan of the new setup. It is extremely wasteful and more expensive than the previous setup! Each test strip now comes individually wrapped and I have to use tweezers to pull it out every time. The old model had all the ketone strips in an easy label sealed container. Way more convenient and affordable. Not to mention that the new model has you weekly calibrate the pen using up even more test strips! After jumping back in I’m now convinced that blood ketones are not the best way to go, I’m looking at buying a breath pen instead - it’s much easier to travel with and use, more cost upfront but it lasts a lot longer and with how often I like to test significantly less expensive. The gold standard would be to get a CGM, which I have used in the past and loved, however for the cost the breath pen is more middle of the road pricing for those who are following a keto diet, like more frequent check ins especially when first starting, and ease of use. All in all disappointing that the upgrade feels like a down grade and just going to use up the last few strips until I switch to a breath test pen. Save your money, this will cost you more.”

“I'm disappointed that I couldn't find my usual straps for my meter. I ordered what looked like what I was used to. Turns out they don't fit and I can't send them back because I ope es the package. Now I'm stuck with buying a new meter, ugh”

“I think the product is good, but I have proven I have a defective meter that I want to exchange and can not get any response. Expensive product that I can not use. Disappointed with customer service.”

“I recently ordered replacement test strips. The ketone strips arrived in good order. But the glucose strips arrived in in groups of two connected, groups of three connected, and a few normal length. But over half were two packets connected.. But, so far, one of the strip packets did not contain a strip. My impression is that I received the sweeping from the shop floor. It is not what I expected.”

“Syncing is a pain. Sometimes it needs several attempts due to a sync error, or worse, it syncs but does not pick up the blood measurement from the meter.”

“We are sorry to hear that your readings are not as expected. We are happy to provide guidance to ensure you get the most accurate readings. We would love it if you could do a comprehensive control test. To do this test, please prepare five glucose strips or five ketone strips (or both) and gently shake the control before use (you do not want any air bubbles). Place a drop of the control onto one of the empty wrappers (be careful when disposing of this as it contains a dye color) and test back-to-back with the glucose strips. Calculate an average of those five tests (Add up the five tests and divide by five). It is natural to see a variation. Then, look at the base of the meter kit box and look at the range for the control solution - we aim to be in the middle of the range. If the meter is faulty, we will replace the meter under the warranty. If the meter is testing within range, then the meter is testing accurately. We will give you a gift card for the strips you will use, so you are not out of any money for performing this test. Please let us know the results and how the meter tests compared to the control range on the box”

“Not happy with the upgrade; should have stuck with what I had. I wasted more than $100 on brand new test strips that I had to throw away because the new meter doesn't take the old strips; the new strip packaging is IMPOSSIBLE to open without damaging the test strip; individually wrapped is a monumental waste! Ejecting the strip from the meter is so ridiculous with the ejector button on the back of the device -- one ends up pressing all the other buttons, wiping blood all over the place, while trying to get to that ejector button. The pretty new case that all the stuff came in is useless as all the things one needs: lancets, lancet device, meter, strips, etc. ... don't fit! So, once you zip up the case, because it's so small, something hits the meter and turns it back on! I really do not like my decision to "upgrade"”

“When I placed the order I didn't receive a message that partial order would be back ordered. Only when the first part showed up did I know the situation. I had to contact you to even find out if my order would arrive in time for Thanksgiving. Still not here so waiting.”
