I booked a United airline flight through kiwi.com from Newark to LAX on June 30th. After over $150 of transportation expenses to reach the airport I found out that my reservation wasn't valid and they told me they can't find my booking. I missed my flight and after hours of waiting they rebooked me another flight but when I got to the gate the same thing happened and I wasn't allowed on the flight because they can't find the reservation. I had to cancel my whole trip because of their incompetence. I called them to request a refund and a compensation for my transportation fees and after their costumer service promised to get me all my transportation expenses they ended up just refunding me for only the ticket price. This was definitely the worst experience I've ever had. Would never use it again and definitely won't recommend it to anyone.

Sometime on December 2022, I tried to book a flight with them which did not push through. A note appeared that "due to changes of the rates we cannot proceed". Since i tried booking with them, they have my credit card information. To my shock, the ended up charging me the entire amount of the 2-way flight that i booked. When you try to call their contact number, you need a booking number to get through a representative. Considering my case, I do not have a booking number, hence, it was impossible to reach them via phone. They do not have an email that you can easily reach them but i tried looking for their email online, sadly none of the 3 emails i wrote to responded. I advise that you do not deal with this company. This is one of the worst experience I had dealing online. They take small people's money and they do not have a good resolution, nor do they provide help or guidance.

DO NOT USE KIWI. They will tell you that the airline has changed your flight and you must book a different ticket - even when the airline has not really changed it!!! Check directly with the airline if Kiwi says your flight has changed. It is likely NOT TRUE. This happened to us - lucky we checked or we almost paid $600 to Kiwi to book a different flight, even though our original ticket was still valid and flight was only a 10 minute delay. We asked the airline to confirm our original reservation and send a confirmation, which they did. Then we asked Kiwi why they said we had to re-book, and they said “yeah well it looks like you can take the original flight after all”. DONT CHANGE YOUR TICKET - check directly with the airline first!!!!! And of course NEVER USE KIWI.COM

28 may I booked for 22 June they send me ticket for 22 December Then I cancelled my ticket with them and I request for refund They told me that your refund will be resive in 10 worker days until now not received me nothing And now they send me email that is impossible to refund you I don't know whay they doing like that I paid for ticket 486€ now they told me we refund you 10€ What I'm doing on 10€ They are very stupid service and stupid company I don't want to see kiwi on Google

Booked eight months ahead to ensure no hiccups, but a month or so after making my booking one leg of my itinerary was allegedly cancelled. Turns out it was only changed a couple hours, but Kiwi's rigid policy meant either cancelling a $1600+ booking or booking a replacement with them. The cheapest option was an additional 8 hours layover and $500 more. Nothing about the money refund for the "cancelled leg" by the way. So I cancel the whole booking and go with more trustworthy sites. Kiwi tell me a refund will take 3 months! And in likelihood will be less some fees and even only in travel credit. I DON'T WANT TO EVER FLY WITH KIWI. I'm only thankful this happened while I was still at home. But one look at their social media or review sites shows this is a common issue and their customer service team are either AI or unsympathetic drones that get paid bonuses the longer they can hold people's refunds. Avoid Kiwi, it will only cost you time chasing impossible refunds from this shell company.

The worst agency ever, they just steal your money, the customer service the very bad and they don't even listen to you. I got kiwi guarantee, and they let me alone middle of night. They gave alternative flight with 26 hours including 2 transit and buss, instead of my direct flight. Hahahah and thy refuse to refund my money back, I asked to talk to a supervisor and they also said he is not available. Just swindlers. Not recommended

This has to be one the WORSE companies I have ever come across. Please please please AVOID. I booked a flight and purchased extra luggage which they charged me for it, and then a day before my flight they informed me that my luggage was not included and had no explanation for this accept claiming that I apparently logged in the app and changed the flight details which is complete RUBBISH! They advised me to purchase luggage at the airport instead which I did and had to pay double the amount because it was at the airport. They agreed that they will refund me if I did purchase extra luggage at the airport, I sent them receipts like they requested and they came back saying they will not issue me a refund and they STILL charged me for the first luggage I purchased when I booked the flight. They are a fraud company and even at the airport the staff said they always get complaints about this company and to advised to not book with them again. This will be the first and last time I ever book through them. Please be CAREFUL they will scam you!

Kiwi is NOT transparent in costs - hidden fees: Kiwi does a terrible job of integrating potential cost increases up front. Like sure it'll show you the lowest cost flight up front, but backed behind that are SO many hidden fees that they do not warn you of. Not to mention their documents and emails are not user friendly. Again, not transparent in warnings and reminders. For example, I booked a flight that is typically just 3 hours direct. Kiwi booked two direct flights to my destination and one flight back. Entire thing = $143 - fine sounds reasonable. Come to find out, all flights were Frontier Airlines AND you cannot update baggage on their site once the purchase is made. So, I ended paying in total $278 dollars MORE in just CARRY-ON luggage, a high cost fee for EACH of the flights - 3 total. That is MORE than the original flight tag itself. So total for this whole thing I actually spent $421. Ridiculous. Highly do not recommend using them.

The worst experience ever! We purchased tickets in June for flights in November (Belgrade-Tenerife-Belgrade), then we had to choose paid alternatives due to airline changes (disputed was return flight). It would be ok, if it was the only change. A month before our flight, we had to choose another unacceptable paid alternative with over 25hours for the flight from Tenerife to Belgrade. At the same time, they had a better offer for new passengers than for us (flights which last about 8hours). Directly, I asked for that different offer and they were professionally avoiding the answer. Somehow, they accepted to allow me to REQUEST other alternative and refused my request, of course. We decided to find solution on our own and I requested a refund from the disputed airline directly. As Kiwi purchased tickets on behalf of us, they received a refund of $140.40 (I have proof of it - airline sent me). When I told them about it, they refused to get my funds back, so the conclusion is that they stole my funds! I have to mention, they were trying to offer me their assisted refund and they didn't offer me a refund with Kiwi credit (I'm whondering, why?!) There are a lot of details that happened during our "communication", but I don't want to go on too long. AVOID THIS SCAMMER PROVIDER!  P.s. Take a look on proof of refund by KLM directly. Kiwi knows that and they declined to get my funds back.

Firstly cancellation of my flight from Newcastle to Heathrow, secondly they check in for me with Aegean air but the time of departure was not the right one, They checked for me from Athens to Bristol for 13,35 and easyJet left 12,55 I travel from Newcastle to Rhodes with nightmares, please please don’t book any flight with Kiwi.com

DO NOT BOOK WITH KIWI COM! My flight was cancelled due to weather in December. Although I purchased flight insurance, they simply cancelled my flight without the option of rebooking me. If I wanted to rebook it was going to cost me $5000! For a 5 hr flight, originally $1000 (xmas prices). The airline confirmed they had sent the refund to Kiwi.com two months ago and kiwi continued to deny they had received it. It is over two months now, and they have since disconnected their phone lines so there's no way of contacting them. I finally got confirmation that the refund is "being processed, but in a different department and there are many factors outside of their control so they are unable to give me a timeframe for when I'll receive the refund" The flight was $1000, I never took the trip and now I'm paying interest on my credit card, while Kiwi scams everyone, withholding their money for as long as possible. The worst company I have ever dealt with, they're corrupt, don't use them!

Everyone, DON'T BOOK here. Avoid this site like the plague. I paid and they "confirmed" my ticket. I show up to the airport the day of my flight and the check in agent said my reservation was booked but that kiwi didn't issue me a ticket. I called kiwi from the airport and they kept giving me a PNR code which is a reservation code , not the actual ticket number....because they didn't issue a ticket. They booked a reservation for me but not issue me a ticket which is what they're suppose to do.I was stressed beyond relief and had to fly out for a funeral. I was left no choice but to book a ticket at the airport 4 times the price so I could leave. Kiwi refuses to issue me a refund. They stole my money. The agent at the airport did mention kiwi is the worse,it's a scam and has seen many situations like mine. AVOID Kiwi. I will be escalating my refund and talking to my bank to report this fraud

DO NOT USE THIS BOOKING SITE. INSTEAD OF BEING CHEAPER, IT WILL BE TWICE THE AMOUNT OF OTHER BOOKING SITES! I booked a flight on Kiwi.com and got the confirmation email with a big green bottom indicating that: "You can change your trip up to 48 hours before the journey." Then I decided to change the departure time to a later hour the same day and got the confirmation of the change. A few days later, I log into my credit card website and discovered I've been charged twice for the same flight. I immediately called Kiwi.com to inform them of their mistake and their response was that when I did changes to my itinerary they created a new ticket not by mistake but by default. So, I was charged the full price of the original booking and the full price of a second booking to accommodate my changes in the itinerary all in less than 24 hours. Again, they pretended to justify that I can be charged twice for the same flight which is a complete scam!!! I don't know how they have been getting away with these fraudulent practices but I hope this review prevents other customers from becoming victims of their scams. Now is up to my credit card to fix this, which I trust they will but other people might not have that choice. Again: DO NOT USE THIS BOOKING SITE. INSTEAD OF BEING CHEAPER, IT WILL BE TWICE (or more) THE AMOUNT OF money OTHER BOOKING SITES MIGHT CHARGE!

Hello, My name is Satyam Chavan I booked a flight ticket from Kyiv to Mumbai on 26 Feb 2022 (Booking Number: 0 2 0 0 3 3 8 7 9 8) on Kiwi.com. My Flight was canceled by the airline and I was supposed to get a refund but it's been more than 9 months now still I haven't got my refund. I have raised a ticket multiple times but every time they say the same thing like we are waiting for the airline to issue the refund. I tried calling them on their helpline number ( (202) 844-4159 ) but this call was not taking any refund requests.

Once I ordered my tickets with Kiwi.com they started to change the itinerary multiple times demanding more money for me to keep the flight. After it reached 80 euroes extra they gave me the option to pay more or ask for a refund. Naturally after Kiwi.com changed the itinerary multiple times i asked for a refund. That was over 12 months ago. They say they are not responsible for the refund but the carrier/airline is. I have emailed the carrier/airline and they have no booking or booking number records of what Kiwi.com claims. They have given me a false booking number. The airline also confirms that they are in no way or shape cooperating with Kiwi.com nor are they allowed/authorized to sell their tickets. This company is 100% Scam. They will take your money then sell you "false" flights. When you try to confirm with the carrier they deny having any relations with Kiwi.com. You will be sold false tickets, and you will never get your money back. STAY AWAY!!

Priority boarding for one flight instead of two. I paid for priority boarding for my flights Vienna-Paris. After 3 days I got many emails saying that they add it to only one flight and for another one they didn't. I thought it was a joke because the whole reason why you're doing that - is you want to bring a trolley on board. But having it only one way doesn't make any sense. So, they refunded Priority Boarding for Paris-Vienna but left one for Vienna-Paris. I told them that pls refund me everything Priority Boarding for both flights. And they're telling me about the fact that they can't and telling me that it was a 'technical problem' to book Priority Boarding for one of the flights. So the operator was like, I cannot do it for the flight back, but who cares, let's do it for a flight to the place and refund a back one. How should I use it? I just have no words. Never using this service again. I simply have no words. Ofc they won't do anything about it. But it's not how service should work. It has no logic behind it.

KIWI.com USERS BUYER BEWARE! I learned the hard way after losing the cost of my ticket when I had a thoroughly documented medical emergency of a heart attack while in the airport, resulting in me having to go to the emergency room instead of making my flight. Even though the airline had agreed to reimburse me for my flight KiWI.com refused to process my reimbursement. Please note the THREE REASONS you should never buy your ticket using KIWI.com as an intermediary. #1). Once you purchase a ticket on KIWI.com, you are essentially forfeiting your right to deal directly with the airline you are flying to handle any legitimate dispute you might have (i.e., medical emergencies, refunds, lost luggage, etc.). All disputes, refunds, or reimbursements can only be handled through KIWI.com and its incredibly narrow definition of what constitutes an emergency. #2). According to KIWI’s customer service agent, they do not follow international regulations (i.e., lost delayed luggage or medical emergencies) for legitimate emergency-related disputes. #3). Also, according to this same agent, KIWI has no real customer service support to communicate with should something go very wrong. And let's face it, more goes wrong these days than right, with air travel! They don’t even have an address to submit demand letters regulated by US law. The best you’ll receive in terms of support is a pseudo-robo customer service “person” claiming to be the final arbiter of any dispute. SO, IF YOU USE KIWI AND HAVE ANY SORT OF TRAVEL EMERGENCY THAT ENTITLES YOU TO REIMBURSEMENT BY THE AIRLINE ITSELF, BECAUSE YOU BOUGHT YOUR TICKET ON KIWI.COM, YOU ARE COMPLETELY SCREWED!

Mistake has been made!!! Scam Alert! I wish that I read all this reviews before falling for $35 cheaper price offered by this website/group. Booked a flight from DEN to MEX with a checked-in through this fraudsters, but once I got to the airline counter at the airport to complete the check in, I was informed that my ticked is not valid/is in pending status. Tried to call in to Kiwi customer service but no one there to help me and got rejected after 2nd call -including dropped calls. So yeah, I lost the damn flight and my $200 (plus $75 uber). Save yourself some time, money, and brain cells and "Don't Trust This Website"

I literally just booked a flight on kiwi.com and a few minutes later I realized that I had booked it for the wrong day. (Should have been one day before). So I called up thinking no problem as it hasn't been 24 hours. I simply needed to change the flight for one day earlier and would gladly pay a fee. I call customer service and they tell me I can go into my dashboard and make the change but will have to pay for the new flight. THIS IS HILARIOUS because they call it a change BUT it's just me booking another flight. DUH! How the is this acceptable? Anyways I want to be sure I could leave a review somewhere people can see it. Please be advised. This is an untrustworthy company.

I strictly remember booking one flight and one flight only. However, when I checked my activity on my credit card I saw that I was charged twice for the same booking. When I asked them about the booking number for the old booking, they told me that my current booking number is my new booking number and vice versa, but nowhere do I see a booking number referencing for the amount that I am disputing. When I called and asked they keep stating the same thing over and over and over again. POLICY POLICY POLICY. I am sick of dealing with these pathetic companies that are in place just to loot their customers of their money and that too when questioned, the term "Policy" comes into place. If you're looking for a company that respects your business, keep moving because this company only cares for your wallet and not you as a valuable customer, much less a person even. I was treated with rudeness with which I had to respond in kind. KIWI stands for Keep Income Without Integrity!

I bought a $1400 multi-city trip with these scammers. I received the flight confirmation with date errors. I immediately tried to change it. The only option they give you is to cancel the trip and receive a refund, which I did. They refunded me $13.06 saying I "voluntarily" canceled the trip (as if there were any other options) and marked the issue as resolved in the middle of the conversation. That's it. Theybsteal your money in you face and have an army of agents who repeat the same thing to you to tire you out and make you give up. Every single question you write in the chat is answered by a different agent.

It looks like a blatant scam. I ordered 20kg checked luggage. I went through the ordering process again to double check whether I did not make a mistake, I did not. The 20kg changes to 10kg upon paying. I contacted kiwi.com via email (not gotten a reply yet after 3 days). The chat is just manned by bots and low paid outsourced workers that don't seem to understand what you want or just blatantly ignore everything you say. I explained about the mix-up and just asked for it to be rectified and always get the same reply back saying "additional luggage can be purchased... And you have purchased..." not confirming they understand the issue, which is in their system, and from what it looks, is on purpose, as they just ignore any reference I make to it. I asked for them to refund the luggage and they said that can't be done. So, I guess we are just going to have to pay extra and the only thing I can do is warn others not to purchase through Kiwi.com I there is supposed to be 10kg free per person, however, the order does not mention this, just 10kg free for person A, and 10kg paid for person B. I asked them about this, again, they seem to be too mindless to answer a simple question of "Do both people get the 10kg free?".

ABSOLUTE SCAM !!!! I'm still in shock with my experience with KIWI. I booked a flight to Mogadishu and they made me fly into Bodrum from Birmingham and then Bodrum to Istanbul .. I was supposed to receive my E-ticket for the transit flight which was 18 hours. Instead I was left in the AIRPORT WITH no HOTEL AND NO E.TICKET. I contacted them more than 20 times and they told me they would send me the rest of the flight details to ADDIS ABABA but they did not. Contacted customer service and they’re based in India although it’s a London number . They’re all scammers I was left with no hotel no flight and stranded in Istanbul. They will tell you that they’re waiting for the airline to send the flight tickets but this is false. I’ve spoken directly to Ethiopian airlines and they said they did this and that they’re fraudulent. ALSO before the flight I was supposed to go on left they sent me a fake PNR number which did not exist and I was sent back from the flight . AVOID AT ALL COSTS , SCAMMERS FRAUD

I booked a last minute return flight from Hannover to Athens to be presented to a funeral of a family member. The first part of the flight was through Corendon Airlines (Hannover-Heraklion on 09.07.2022) and the other parts were from Aegean Airlines (Heraklion-Athens on 09.07.2022 and Athens-Hannover on 10.07.2022). Kiwi website confirmed the booking and sent me the e-tickets for all 3 parts (file attached). Few hours before departure, they sent me an email, that the Corendon Airlines cancelled the flight from Hannover to Heraklion and that I should search for another schedule and the informed me that I have no refund right as I didnt book the insurance they offered. I called the Hannover airport and they informed me that the flight is scheduled and is not cancelled. I informed the kiwi.com with an email that the flight is not cancelled and that I am waiting for my refund in case they dont resolve the case. The same time kiwi.com were selling tickets through their website for the same flight tha same date and same time. I contacted the Corendon airlines and our booking code and e-ticket (shared through kiwi.com) could not be find in their system. The day after, the Hannover airport confirmed that the flight was performed as scheduled. They are scammers. I have regreted booking with them.
