“Grateful to have Me David as our tour guide for our Korea day tour on 8/Dec. He’s a very responsible person, making sure we know the timeline so that we get to enjoy the most out of our tour! Thanks, David! 🫶”
“avoid Klook. They do not honor price matching even though their website says they do and I even sent photos to peove it. They dismiss it like it doesent exsist.”
“Huge thanks to Michael and drew for being such a genuine source of support during a tough time. I didn’t just need answers—I needed reassurance, and they gave me both. Every step of the process was handled smoothly and thoughtfully. They took time to really understand my situation and never made me feel rushed or judged. You can tell they truly love what they do and care about people. I’m so grateful for their patience, professionalism, and heart.”
“Soooo bad, payed for an experience but had to change the date about two weeks before the experience but they said they could not change the date and could not cancel or refund. Lost so much money don't use.”
“I recently traveled to Japan and booked all my train tickets through Klook, spending over $2,000 in total. I reserved many seats on Limited Express and Shinkansen trains, carefully choosing seats for my family of three to sit together. I even paid extra for Fuji-view window seats — but Klook gave us all separate aisle seats, and none of us ever got a window seat for the entire trip!
It was impossible to change or cancel after receiving the confirmation — Klook just kept offering “upgrades” or other paid options instead of fixing their mistake. Honestly, it feels like they just bought the cheapest seats available despite what I selected.
To make things worse, many JR staff didn’t even know what Klook was, and using the QR code to collect tickets was a real hassle at the machines.
This was a terrible experience from start to finish. I trusted Klook because it looked like a big, reliable company, but it turned out to be misleading advertising.
Never use Klook for train bookings in Japan. Don’t just take my word for it — try it yourself, and you’ll end up just as disappointed.”
“We bought a 2 day pass for my family of 4 (Amazing Osaka pass) but it didn’t work for 48 hours. When I complained they told me it says in the regulations that a 2 day pass is not 48h ??? Although I sent proof of my activation date and hour of the pass, they refused to refund the attraction we had to pay separately (4 entrance fees) and a taxi back to the hotel as the subway transportation (included in the card) didn’t work either. Shameful. Furthermore, note that an extra commission fee is included when buying through Klook so better buy directly and avoid Klook all”
“Booked airport transfer with meet & greet for schipol airport ,amsterdam to hotel in aug 25.The driver was supposed to be available @4.45 pm with my name placard. However the driver reached only at 5.55 pm after exchange of whatsapp messages. We being sr. Citizens had to find our way upto departure exit from arrival with luggage. The agency simply apologised on complaint &no refund was given for not meeting meet &greet protocol.Further they even gave a lame &false excuse that entry to airport for taxi is restricted due to renovation whereas there was no such thing as we didnot see any on our way out.”
“I booked two train tickets from Klook to return to Shinjuku Station in Tokyo from Mount Fuji. Only found out that the tickets were NOT redeemable at the train station at Mount Fuji! I was told by the station staff that I could only pick up the tickets in Tokyo, what’s the point?! However, there is no such information displayed on Klook website before purchasing tickets. I contacted Klook, very slow response and not helpful at all! Only BS excuses and I can’t even get a refund! I would never book anything from them again nor recommend them to anyone. Avoid Klook at all cost!”
“I made a reservation under the reference number JRU732953 via Klook. Despite entering the guest's name, the booking confirmation page indicates that the guest name is listed as Zero. I have reached out to Klook numerous times but have not received any response. The hotel booking is handled by Expedia, and there appears to be a communication breakdown between the two entities. This situation raises concerns about potential fraudulent activities, as modifications and cancellations are not allowed. My visa application was denied, and I have contacted Klook 27 times, in addition to sending emails and utilizing chat support, yet I have not received any replies. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend their services.”
“I regret to write a negative review, as my experience was disappointing. I booked a driver and car to take my family from Danang to Bach Ma National Park, and later to our accommodation, which was about 9 kilometers away. I specified the locations very clearly, as requested.
On the evening before departure, I received a WhatsApp message from a Klook operator saying, "we have a problem." The destination specified was further away than the package covered. I referred him to the detailed itinerary I had provided weeks before when I booked the deal. He apologized for overlooking it but insisted that we must pay more. Given that it was just several hours before our departure, I had no choice but to add 1,000,000 VND.
Additionally, the operator informed me that the driver would only take us to the entrance gate of the park, and from there we would have to take a shuttle. Not knowing what this meant, and having no other option, I agreed. When we arrived at Bach Ma National Park, we learned that the shuttle would cost us an additional 900,000 VND. After about 10 minutes of contemplating what to do, the driver offered to continue inside the park for an additional 600,000 VND. Obviously, we were already quite disappointed, but we went ahead with it.
The next day, because it was raining, we asked the driver to take us to Hue instead of the park. The driver called his operator and came back with a demand for an additional 1,000,000 VND, despite Hue province being included in the itinerary. At this point, we were so disappointed that we gave up and requested the driver to take us directly to Hoi An, our final destination. The atmosphere in the car was not very happy, and we could feel the driver's awkwardness. We felt for him. After about 30 minutes, he offered to take us to some tourist attractions on the way to Hoi An, but we were not in the mood for that.
Our overall impression was that we were tricked into paying more and more. The driver and operator were definitely not customer-oriented, and except for saying "sorry," they didn't do anything to alleviate our poor experience. I want to believe that this is not the usual Klook way of doing things, but I will hesitate to recommend their service to others.”
“This was my first experience with this company and I will never do it again or recommend it to others. On 27.02 I booked a cable car, lunch and the kissing bridge (Phu Quoc, Vietnam). There was no checkout page before payment, payment was required immediately. After that I received a voucher for 27.02, although I booked for 28.02. A few minutes later I contacted customer service to change the date, and the error was not my fault.
They said it was impossible and the money would not be returned - THIS IS THE COMPANY POLICY.
Bravo, I was absolutely delighted by the mass of apologies!
This is not how to work, it is outrageous and shameful!!! Money for an unrealized service is a direct violation of the laws of any civilized country!”
“I listed an activity on Klook and got a few bookings, but even after three months, I haven’t been paid. I added my bank account, but every time I submit it, I get an email a few days later saying the beneficiary name doesn’t match—which makes no sense because I get paid by other companies without any issue. I’ve sent at least ten emails over the past three months and haven’t received a single response. There’s no customer service number or chat support. Extremely disappointed, and I’ll be sharing my experience everywhere!”
“I want to express my disappointment with Klook. We signed up in September, and after four months, no account manager was assigned to us. Instead, we received only robotic responses stating that someone would get back to us, but unfortunately, we never received any follow-up.
Based on our experience, I strongly advise any provider on the Marketplace to avoid signing up with Klook, as it has been a complete waste of time.”
