“Hi, Ordering from Knotty Tie was easy and the shipping was quick. However, I wasn't too keen on the masks themselves. The standard size was super tight, and there are big gaps on either side of the nose. (I am a averaged sized person). I am not fond of the elastic around the head design. The fabric is cute and soft, but fit is more important to me.”

“I want to love the masks. I love the patterns and the ability to have an insert, and I love supporting a Colorado comp. But it just didn’t fit. My daughter’s was too big. Mine was so tight it smushed me nose. And because the straps go across the back of the head it’s hard to adjust. If the elastic went around the ears I think it might be easier to adjust to different size faces. But I haven’t been able to figure out how to adjust this one.”

“I ordered a face mask and just don't love it. It comes too close to my eyes and the elastic slips on my head. I think I just prefer masks that go around my ears. The only plus to this mask is the firm fit across my face so no gaps like with 100% cotton masks.”

“My order somehow ended up going to South Dakota and back before it arrived in Denver. That is a post office error, however I hoped that Knotty Tie would follow up with me when it should have arrived to see whether I had gotten it or not. Additionally, I wish that the option to pick up my face masks upon completion was an option; the post office debacle added at least a week. As of right now, you can only pick up orders that are in stock right now. Next, the face masks are really tight on both my and my fiancée's face. The straps are too short and the fabric barely covers our nose and chin. It hurts the bridge of my nose. They are very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Finally, there is no wire at the top of the mask to fit it closely to the nose. The last two points are not complete deal breakers. However, it does make the price not worth it to me. I was hoping to order many more for myself and family members, but after receiving them I have decided against it. Love supporting local businesses wherever I can. If there are changes made to the above issues I would consider ordering more.”

“I am an adult female and ordered two adult standard size masks with filter pockets. Positives: the size of the mask provides good coverage from nose to under chin; the material is soft; many designs available; the elastic goes around the head; this is a local small business. Negatives: it is very uncomfortable because the elastic lengths are off (the top is extremely tight and the lower one hangs loose); the order took longer than promised, I ordered on 4/15 and it didn't ship until 4/27; pick up was not allowed so even though I live 15 minutes away, the order was delivered 4/29.”

“Two things. Delivery was slower than promised. The mask is small on me. I think the preferred masks now have elastic around each ear rather than around the entire head with two straps.”

“My husband likes his. But mine, even though I ordered the small one, is still too big. The material also doesn’t breathe as well as a cotton one my daughter made. We thought they were quite expensive compared to others that fit much better.”

“I love the fabric of the mask. That’s the best thing I can say because the earpieces were put on incorrectly and I couldn’t fit it over my head. Ultimately, I cut the elastic and tied it together to make earpieces. Not what I would expect for a $25 facemask.”
