“The boys and I had the option to get any bow tie for our friend’s wedding- as long as it was on scheme. We stumbled across Knotty Tie and are so happy with the final results. We picked different patterns and chose the same color pallet to match. I loved the option to mock up a design online and forward it to our group for review. Our custom products arrived on time as expected, were of high quality, and the customer service exceeded expectations. I recommend getting the ColorMatch Chart for accurate results. As expected some of the colors appeared different/brighter on screen- but were more subdued when printed to fabric. Overall… A+ experience. And I have a cool new tie to wear!”

“As far as getting my tie shipment sped up, the service was awesome. But, the fact that I can’t return the ties is not sitting well with me. I ordered colors to try with my suits for my wedding to see which one I like more and now I am stuck with them. My fault for not checking but I’ll be ordering from another company in the future.”

This is because we strive to limit manufacturing waste in the interest of sustainability and therefore we print, cut, and sew each order to each customer's specifications, which is a unique business model. We offer thousands of pattern options for our ties, and these patterns can either be customized by color, size, or both. Because of our robust and customizable catalog, we do hope you can understand that we are unable to offer a standard return policy similar to other retailers that keep inventory of non-customized products in stock. “Knotty Tie Co is INCREDIBLE!!! After things fell through elsewhere... I needed to obtain x10 custom ties and x10 custom pocket squares in less than two weeks! The people at Knotty Tie DELIVERED! A day early too! I I am very thankful for their customer service and attentiveness to my emails. I recommend 100/100 and will definitely use again. The product itself was even better than my normal ties. Thank you”

“The tie itself was reasonably priced, however, the price to expedite (15 days not exactly my definition of expedite) was not. It was basically the same cost to expedite as it was for the cost of the tie. I would have gladly paid the price for 1-2 day expediting but 15 days is normal shipping in most vendors' worlds.”

Hi Kevin, Thanks for your feedback. We are a made-to-order tie business in Denver, Colorado and print, cut and sew all items to order as part of our social mission. This sustainable manufacturing process does mean that our production timelines may be longer than other retailers. While we do not offer ready to ship products, we do our best to provide a quick standard 15 day production time and expedites (for an additional fee). Our expedite costs include a fee for rush production plus UPS Air shipping to guarantee on-time delivery. The shipping costs actually made up the majority of the $24 expedite you paid for. “It’s incredibly hard to get a hold of customer service. I was offered an option to upgrade my shipping (after already paying $9 to ship) to receive my items in time. After responding to the representative (Jaymie) hoping to facilitate the new shipping arrangement, I have heard nothing. Unfortunately, the way mail is going, I am not sure if I will have my ties in time for my wedding. I’m disappointed because I’m sure they are beautiful ties.”

“I'm really glad I chose the Knotty Tie for my wedding. First, their website's user interface is simple to use and makes a huge difference in picking the right tie. In particular, the color matching swatch that they mailed me in advance was the only way it was possible for me to get the right color match. This aspect of their service is impeccable. I was therefore able to design a tie for my groomsmen that both matched the bridesmaid's dresses and incorporated elements of my venue's theme (i.e., a moose for Yellowstone!). When the ties showed up, they looked great and fit my groomsmen well. Additionally, they really pop in the wedding pictures! For designing custom wedding ties, I looked at a lot of companies and I'm glad I chose the Knotty Tie—I think they are the best for custom wedding ties.”

“The Knotty Tie team made ordering the perfect groomsmen ties a piece of cake! After creating some custom ties and checking out a sample swatch on my own, I came to the Knotty Tie Team with a specific design request to figure out a way to make a few different ties using just two colors to create Groomsmen ties that looked cohesive but were unique to each of my guys. Daniela, Anna, and Jaymie all helped me pick the right colors for my ties, get them mocked up in proofs, and sent me samples to make sure the very specific vision in my head could be brought to life. Not only was the creation process with them convenient and easy, the final product also looks amazing! My groomsmen are all going to be super excited! Thank you all for helping me create such an awesome part of my wedding day!”
