“Ordered two valances and very disappointed re quality and finish Loose threads and very creased......made in China .Cannot be bothered to pack them all up again as they are bulky. Could have paid less for much better quality. Very disappointed.”

“Terrible company. Ordered two benches, one arrived and one didn't. After lots of chasing, given a refund, no explanation as to where the other bench went. Tried to reorder using the phone number and email address given as the bench on the website had doubled in price and told this was the only way to get at the same price. Phone lies terrible, no-one answers after waiting over 20 minutes multiple times. Multiple emails which took over 10 days to get a response, they were useless and I was told to call the number... I am only giving 2 stars as the one bench actually arrived, we are pleased with. However, will never order again from this company. I ordered nearly identical benches from Wayfair and they arrived the next day.”

“I bought a bed cover from this website. The problem was with transparency of the payment. When I bought the item, the payment was 70 euro + 29 euro for shipment and handling. That's it. There was no mentioning that I will need to pay extra handling and shipping to DHL of 24 euro (not including VAT, which is okay). Therefor, the description in their website was misleading and not fully transparent as to the actual price I needed to pay for receiving the item. I talked to a representative and sent emails, but they only dismissed me and replied that I need to discuss with DHL. I had to pay the extra shipping and handling. Please bear in mind when you but, that you will probably need to pay more than it is said!”

“After waiting nearly 10 days, I collected my order today, a duvet cover and 2 pillow cases, intended for a Xmas present. I tried to contact La Redoute by phone but failed to get a reply. Unfortunately the pillow cases are a shade darker than the cover which makes the duvet cover appear faded. I should return the set, but would I get a replacement - if a replacement exists, before Xmas?? So disappointed with la Redoute.”

“After waiting 10days for delivery and after sending 2 emails which they say their respond to in 24hrs( which they dont) i finally recieved my order. As it happens i didnt like the boots id ordered so returned the same day. After reading reveiws i dreaded waiting for my refund but credit where credits due, my money was back in my account within days. Saying that i would never ever order from them again”

“I had an account with this company from 2002 untill 2014 i paid ppi as they sneaked it onto my statements every month. I paid 4 years worth of payments to them and they have only refunded 129.00 . They are a joke and very dishonest company.”

“I've had very similar experiences to others including: long delays then being told an item has been discontinued, not giving me the promised discounts , asking for money back only to receive a statement showing a credit that I cant access, long waits on with very expensive call charges...…… Can I at least save you some money and time spent on the phone calls. Through an awful lot of searching, I found an email address and I have got responses using it. It's helpline@redoute.co.uk Such a shame this company delivers bad service as I like a lot of their products. Good luck everyone”

“Good collection of clothes but the delivery is ridiculous. On their website, it says 3-7 working days for delivery, but I've placed my order on the 25/07 and I still haven't received it (03/08). I would expect at least an email, notifying me that the delivery will be delayed. I placed that order for my holiday, that I am departing today...”
