Worst company I have ever dealt with. Ordered a £400 coffee table that arrived defected and scratched. Still waiting for a new one 4 months later. Worst communication I have experienced - lack of care and service to their customer.

Worst cusotmer sercvices I have even ecountered. Serously if they employed a group of chimpazes to do it the sevice would be much better. I have been wondering for a while if they actually employ people or they use robots as all they do is to parrot the same nonsense all the time. I put one star because there is no option to put none I genuinely think one star is too generous.

On May 9th 2022 I ordered matching bed quilt sets for my two bedrooms for a total of 601 Euro. I received part of this order in May and another part in June. To date: October 5th 2022 I have only received 2 of the 6 quilts, and 4 of the 12 cushion covers. I wrote to the company every 4 weeks over the past 6 months and was repeatedly told the items would arrive, that there were supply chain issues. On October 4th after threatening legal action I was advised I would be refunded for the missing items. I explained this was no use – I needed to return the items I had as the quilt sets were not complete and no use to me like this. I was told this was not possible. So in effect I have lost 225 euros as I can not use the partial bed linen set. I acted in good-faith, waited more than 6 months whilst they were advising the items would be delivered. Now I learn they will not. I would strongly advise customers to avoid purchasing anything from La Redoute, I wasted months waiting and hours writing to these people – and was treated totally unfairly. Ad oggi: 5 ottobre 2022 ho ricevuto solo 2 delle 6 trapunte e 4 delle 12 fodere per cuscini. Ho scritto all'azienda ogni 4 settimane negli ultimi 6 mesi e mi è stato ripetutamente detto che gli articoli sarebbero arrivati, che c'erano problemi con la catena di approvvigionamento. Il 4 ottobre, dopo aver minacciato un'azione legale, mi è stato detto che sarei stato rimborsato per gli articoli mancanti. Ho spiegato che questo era inutile: dovevo restituire gli articoli che avevo poiché i set di trapunte non erano completi e non mi servivano in questo modo. Mi è stato detto che non era possibile. Quindi in effetti ho perso 225 euro in quanto non posso usare il letto parziale set di biancheria. Ho agito in buona fede, ho aspettato più di 6 mesi mentre mi avvisavano che gli articoli sarebbero stati consegnati. Ora ho imparato che non lo faranno. Consiglio vivamente ai clienti di evitare di acquistare qualsiasi cosa da La Redoute, Ho perso mesi ad aspettare e ore a scrivere a queste persone e sono stato trattato in modo totalmente ingiusto.

Absolutely useless company who, based on a raft of negative reviews on here, and people having similar issues to me all over social media, I would avoid at all costs. I ordered a kettle from them over a month ago. Since the confirmation email I’ve heard nothing from them. No despatch or tracking emails. I logged back in and apparently it was despatched on the 2nd Dec. It’s been 3 weeks and nothing has turned up, I’ve had no tracking info and no attempted delivery card. I emailed La Redoute 10 days ago and haven’t had a reply despite them saying their max wait time was 5 days. I tried calling twice but was stuck on hold until I couldn’t take anymore. I’m now trying the social media route but so far, failing there too. When you see this site and look at their replies on twitter, this feels like a company in deep trouble. Please do yourself a favour and order from a company who has even the slightest idea what they’re doing.

I placed an order a week ago, after 5 days I called and asked for an update as I had not received an email. The lady said my item had not yet been dispatched but miraculously they arrived the next day. Definite lack of communication from La Redoute although Hermes did text on day of delivery with time slot. With regard to the boots I ordered I do not think they are the best quality as I expected real leather straps as the rest of the boot are real suede. So not actually 100% leather upper as stated. Saying that I do like them and I couldn't imagine the hassle involved in sending them back for a refund. Would I shop at La Redoute again? Given the time taken for delivery in this modern age I would have to say no. Something is telling me something is looming for this company and it isn't good.

Do not order from this company the customer service is terrible. I also question the security of their online systems as I tried to make a purchase and then within hours a credit application was made in a different name (a female - no females here) using my address.

I've had very similar experiences to others including: long delays then being told an item has been discontinued, not giving me the promised discounts , asking for money back only to receive a statement showing a credit that I cant access, long waits on with very expensive call charges...…… Can I at least save you some money and time spent on the phone calls. Through an awful lot of searching, I found an email address and I have got responses using it. It's helpline@redoute.co.uk Such a shame this company delivers bad service as I like a lot of their products. Good luck everyone

Don't order from them. First order - ordered a vase , turned up as a shelf. Was then told to order again at my expense and return the shelf which I did. Nearly 3 weeks on from original order and still no refund. Second order - ordered at my expense to replace first one , parcel now lost. Pathetic service. Understandably not all la redoute , obviously couriers have part to play , however in this day and age this is just not acceptable. Will not be ordering again

I wish I could give it zero stars, but I have to give it one in order to leave a comment. I have never in my life experience such bad customer service as with La Redoute. The first instance was in January when I ordered a set of £200 saucepans to be delivered to my local click and collect shop. I had the notification to say it had arrived and went to the shop… to cut a very very long story short, the saucepans had been stolen by Evri or by somebody at the Tesco’s branch or never got delivered in the first place. After numerous phone calls, they finally agreed to refund me for the product I never received (how generous of them ey). Now, a second order with a second issue. I ordered a lampshade which ‘arrived’ in a box marked ‘biochem laboratory’ which was clearly very strange. When I opened the box, there was no lampshade but a 10 L bottle of Ad-Blu water for a diesel car engine. My address label had been stuck over another label, so this was clearly not my package. Immediately I got on the phone and was told that until they receive the lampshade back I couldn’t have a refund. It didn’t matter how many times I explained that I didn’t have the lampshade, they didn’t seem to understand the situation. I sent pictures of what I had been delivered, as well as the box it arrived in. I asked for a manager to call me back and never heard a single word. Every time you call and ask to speak to a Manager, they’re always ‘busy’ or ‘in a meeting’. The agent will tell you they have passed on a request for a call back and marked it as urgent but please do not believe this, you will never hear from them. Evri collected the package on the 28th March and according to the tracking, it hasn’t moved since. I have been trying to contact customer service to tell them that I need my money back and this is not fair, but nobody can do anything for me. Managers never call you back, the agents don’t understand situations properly and quite frankly, no one gives a s*it once they’ve got your money. Between La Redoute customer services and the fact that they use Evri as their courier, you have an approximately 0% chance of receiving your item. Then you have an approximately 0% chance of actually being able to talk to somebody about the fact that you haven’t got your item. Avoid like the plague.

You are an absolutely awful company that deserves nothing but a bad review! Customer Service sends automated replies and NOTHING GETS SORTED. I made a purchase on 18th of October , returned goods the same week and have not been refunded for 6 weeks now. I have been refunded for 3 items but I returned 5 54.11 pounds you still owe me !! I do not understand why I have not been refunded for everything, it's been returned all in the same parcel I have been regular customer shopping with you every months I am absolutely devastated with the way my return was handled If you don't refund me the rest of my money I will be phoning my bank, its ridiculous Thanks for nothing

Awful product quality and customer service. I bought a media unit and a bedside cabinet at the end of august. Very shortly after there was a further reduction but they would not honour this, meaning that I felt a little ripped off. When the items arrived, the bedside table was damaged. It took so mich effort to get an answer from customer service. I ended up returning the item, Evri lost it, and then I had to chase up numerous times before I got my refund. Not good enough that the item was faulty in the first place, but then the repeatedly poor service was inexcusable. Avoid.

I received a promo code through the post a few weeks ago, it was pretty advantageous so I decided to use it. It didn't work. Multiple times. I waited a couple of weeks during which I was told their IT team didn't have an ETA to fix the issue. I contacted customer service both via email and via phone and they advised me to place the order and then request a refund. I was in two minds as to whether I should as I generally don't trust customer services but I had this advice in writing so I went ahead and placed the order. I then contacted customer service again via email, twice, and two different people confirmed that the refund had been applied to my order and that I'd receive the money within 2 to 5 days. I waited a week before chasing them; today I have been informed that the Marketing team doesn't think I'm eligible for the promotion and therefore I am not getting the refund. I can't return the items as I've removed the price tags. Scammers!

I have had various pieces of furniture delivered 2 damaged dining tables 3 tv units have been offered discount on table and tv unit , although I’m getting told that only 1 of the tv units have been returned when 2 have been returned, and I have already paid for the tv unit, have been trying to get this resolved by telephone and email, constantly telling me they will sort it out and email me, but they never do , am I best to take this matter to court

AVOID the compagny ! Delivery service very poor. Parcel got delayed twice and instead of a 3-5 days delivery as written on the website, I am still waiting for the parcel after 12 full days. It has also been 4 days I don't have any help from the customer service. POOR SERVICE. AVOID.

What a farce of a company. Bought a desk that arrived damaged so called customer services to arrange a replacement. I was told they would arrange a courier collection (the dreaded Evri!) and that I would be refunded when it was received back. In the meantime time I had to pay for a second desk in order to get a replacement. Didn't seem right but, stupidly, I did it anyway. Well, surprise, surprise the second desk also arrived damaged! That's two broken desks and two payments! Frustratingly Evri kept failing to collect the damaged desks using various untrue reasons, eg unable to access property, collection cancelled etc (we were always home waiting for them and certainly didn't cancel anything!) I STILL have a blinking huge package containing an utterly useless desk in my house. It's in my way and, until it is picked up I can't have a refund. Despite numerous calls la redoute refuse to use a different, reliable,courier service or offer any refund because they don't yet have the desk back. If I could drop it off on the blinking doorstep - I would!! Instead I have to continually wait on for arranged collections that simply never happen. Utterly appalling customer service by agents that get significantly aggressive in their response when you disagree with them. I will avoid this company like the plague in the future and urge anyone else to do the same.

Don’t buy Fromm them, they gone downhill in the last few years. Ordered clothes and returned them over 2 week ago. They don’t pick the phone or respond to emails. Lucky I ordered by credit card and the raise a dispute. Hope some one in the company read this. Awful service.

We were so wary about ordering after reading some poor reviews - however, we really didn't need to worry. Tracking progress before dispatch wasn't great. But when order was ready, we were kept well informed and delivery process was smooth. Packaging of items (bedside tables) was brilliant - very secure and well padded, particularly considering outside box was very battered. Items themselves are lovely - we have shopped around for 6 months looking for what we want. They are well made, great price, and good quality. Drawers not very smooth to open and close, but overall, so impressed.

So damned annoying using their website. I've twice tried to register as a new customer with them, using two different email addresses. I had a healthy order and registered as a customer using saved Google passwords...twice I couldn't log in. I've given up and will shop elsewhere.

Awful company, I would stay well away unless you want to buy 1 or 2 cheap items. Customer service is awful, the worst I have ever experienced. Avoid at all costs!
