READ 11.2 SECTION B (Return Policy) Before you buy your mattress. You can not exchange and not return I have bough 2 Dunlopillo Millennium mattress for adjustable bed 75x200 and delivered on the 13/03/2020. As a front- Stomach sleeper I have suffered with backache since using the mattress on day one.Find this mattress too soft for front sleeper. Called on the 17/03/2020 and 18/03/2020. Spoken two different customer service ladies for EXCHANGE to Firm one to Dunlopillo Orchid mattress. But they rejected. by saying I removed the plastic cover for that reason we are unable to exchange. My 96 years of elderly also saying too soft. I would have given 5 star Because of exchange policy I am giving you 1 star. READ 11.2 SECTION B Before you buy your mattress. Mr.Kamer Calik

Buyers beware do not purchase anything if you are not satisfied and consider the item to be poor quality they will not accept it back and if they do they will make you pay for the item to be returned which if it is a bed will cost you as much as the bed customer service is very rude I work in a massive company in customer service and if I spoke to the customers the way they spoke to me I would have been sacked please don't make the same mistake I made or you end up like me upset and very unhappy and wasted over five hundred pounds

I purchased a mattress end of last year. Nearly £800. The old saying “ you get what you pay for “ unfortunately not in this case. After a month we were in agony. Phoned land of beds to complain. I was told give it time. It’s like a new pair of shoes, it has to wear in. After a few more weeks we were not sleeping. The mattress was terrible. Phoned land of beds again, An engineer was sent to look at, it was faulty. Beginning of the year, phoned again. Please could i have a refund ? Oh no we don’t do refunds, you have to have another mattress. I don’t want another mattress from you. I don’t want to be in this situation again, not sleeping, in agony. I have been prescribed painkillers. So after weeks of sleeping in a chair & husband on the settee we managed to save enough to buy another mattress from another store. We are working people & need to sleep. The new mattress from Land of beds was ordered beginning of January. It is now March. We have not received the unwanted mattress yet. We are still out of pocket. We had to pay out again. I hope to be refunded the difference when the Hypnos mattress arrives & the faulty one is taken away. I don’t know what i am going to do with this expensive mattress i don’t want. Sadly i can’t do anything about it. I don’t know who to speak to or who can help me. The whole situation has been awful. I am really unhappy. I do not recommend Land of beds to anyone. I wouldn’t like anyone else in my situation. I will be pleased when the faulty Hypnos mattress has gone from my living room. It’s been standing there for weeks. Customer service are useless. Rude. Don’t care attitude. One lady was ok her name was Wendy. There was nothing she could do to help though. Avoid this company at all costs.

1 star: Bad Updated 2 days ago Faulty product and dreadfully shocking poor after sales service. Avoid avoid avoid. PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH Land of Beds. I purchased a Hypnos mattress from Land of Beds for nearly a thousand pounds. I ordered a firm mattress because I have always had firm mattress’s. After sleeping on it for a short period it became evident it was medium tension. I contacted Land of Beds customer services and requested an exchange or refund. No chance. They spent a great deal of time worming out of it. In the end they said it was the fault of the bed frame. Slats had to be no more than 7cm apart. Mine was 10cm. So the bed frame was at fault by 3cm.....! Quite unbelievable evasion of responsibilities. It’s fair to say I won’t be purchasing anything from Land of Beds in the future. Product was clearly faulty, customer services would come up with any old excuse not to exchange or offer a refund, not even a partial one. Completely unhelpful. Avoid LoB. I did get in touch with Land of Beds as requested and spoke to customer services I was assured she would take matters further by speaking to management in an effort to resolve the issue. It's been over a week and still no contact from them. So, it's become quite evident I've paid £997 for a faulty mattress and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Land of beds pay lip service to after sales matters. My recommendation after a very expensive and bad experience is to avoid this company. The reader will see Land of Beds have reported my review. They clearly don't appreciate fair and accurate criticism. This underlines my point about shabby after sales service. Shockingly poor. I make no apology for this harsh but accurate review. I have contacted Land of Beds as they requested, but they have not called me back. They have refused to enter into dialogue and deal with my complaint. Once they have been paid they don't want to know.

Worst customer service ordered online divan bed and headboard and the mattress didn't come with order, every excuse has been used and I have rang numerous times to ask when it's coming as had 3 delivery dates and no one turned up they dont care when you ring up to ask why yet again it hasnt been delivered taking 2 afternoons of work to wait for it,very unhelpful customer service lady called Nicola who perhaps is in the wrong job and would be better suited doing something else.

WARNING of faulty returns policy WARNING check the reviews on faulty goods dont rely on the review scores.  This is the worst retail experience we have ever had. Faulty mattress delivered within 2 weeks despite an advertised lead time of 42 days. Customer Service refused to acknowledge fault and abide by their returns policy despite it being reported the very same day it was delivered. We were told to wait 12 weeks for settling issues but the mattress was faulty and not settling issues. After weeks of debate they only agreed to replace the faulty mattress after we wrote to the Managing Director. The replacement mattress (which we understood are supposed to be made to order) appeared in their store after less than 3 weeks but had a dirty mark on it so they tried to persuade us to still have it with a small reduction. It was only when we refused another faulty mattress as a replacement that they agreed to refund us. So its two months later and we have finally received the refund. What an awful experience. We will never buy from Land of Beds again. We should have read their reviews before purchasing. The average score look pretty good but when you look at the detail many poor reviews give specific information but on the other hand many excellent scores not much detail so if the product is good happy days but if any fault at all then good luck!

Our purchase from Land of beds was a heavy, costly and uncomfortable mistake. This is a lesson in why you need to try before you buy. We bought a bed with two mattresses which join together, with a total weight of 103.6 pound or 47 kilos. These beds are being sold without any Health and Safety warning that they are MUCH too heavy for an ordinary couple to turn and rotate, let alone weekly for three months as Hypnos says in its brochure - but is NOT in L of B advertising. Splitting the two beds and mattresses is difficult and we can’t easily do it. We were sold on the claims about Hypnos beds being the world’s most comfortable, award winning bed, blah. In fact, the bed we bought is not nearly as comfortable as the four other beds we have, despite us being assured by Land of Beds that “medium” meant the same as it means on our existing beds, by Relyon and Vi-Spring, which cost a lot less and were far easier to turn. We paid £1,804 for a Hypnos Super King Size zip and link bed plus £626.00 for the two headboards which are pushed together. We paid on May 29TH. My wife made the point that we needed delivery urgently as seven guests were arriving on June 30th to stay for up to a month. We were promised delivery updates which we never got. The bed arrived on July 8th and we immediately realized it was hard and uncomfortable: we would not describe it as “medium.” However, because we were busy with guests we did not complain about the bed and ask for our money back and the bed to be removed until three weeks later, when our guests had left –but Land of Beds said we had waited a week too long -21 days. I quote from L of B director Maria Murray: “after this period of time we are not able to accept the return of the bed.” Rival bed manufacturers and retailers like Dormeo, advertise that they offer unhappy customers their money back after up to 60 days. We found every aspect of this bed unsatisfactory and too heavy and awkward for us to manage. It was not possible for us, both in our 70s, to take it apart and put it together again as this involved laying on the flood and fiddling around with a spanner under the bed. A terrible design. Turning the mattresses was not possible for us, and they do not even have handles you can use for this purpose, unlike every other bed we own. The bed is so heavy that the handles are for use only to rotate the mattress, not turn it. These beds should not be sold to anyone without them being warned of the weight problem. Also, we were not told on purchase that the mattress should not be vacuumed as this would damage the upholstery, as per the advice in the brochure which arrived with the bed. We have always vacuumed our mattresses with no harm to the upholstery. In fact we have seen documentaries stating that people must vacuum mattresses to get rid of dust mite faeces. Yet the Hypnos brochure says just to brush it with a soft brush, which cannot be as effective. We regard our purchase from Land of Beds as the worst, most expensive, heavyweight mistake we have made.

The original Order took over a month to get to being delivered and now I have been stuck sleeping on the floor for a week and a half as they took my old bed away then I discovered that the bed was delivered incomplete. I am completeley in the dark as to wether my be will be delivered as Land of Beds do not tell you when it is being delivered they rely on the manufactorers third party courier. For me this has meant that I have had to chase 2 manufactorers and 3 delivery companies ONTOP of constantly harrasing Land of beds for information. I have stressed to their customer service that the boxes are taking up my hallway and as such blocking my disabled son from taking out his power chair but this has done nothing to get them to take this seriously it seems. Just to give you an idea of the hell of their purchase/delivery chain. Buy from Land of beds > manufactorer has to arrange deliver> this goes to third party who then may or may not contact you so you contact Land of beds who say they chase it but you hear nothing so you contact the manufactorer who give conflicting statements then pass you off to courier. Courier tells you that they are an hour away and then never shows so you have to repeat the process from the top to let Land opf Beds know its still not here. almost 15 calls later I still have no bed just a matress on the floor. NIGHTMARE

I have never had such bad service, I ordered my bed with them over a month ago and it was delivered incomplete and my old bed removed. As such I have been stuck sleeping on the floor for almost a week with the boxes sitting in my hallway blocking my disabled childs power chair from exiting the property. I have relayed this over roughly 8 phone calls with them and this has done nothing to hurry the delivery of my bed along. I also have had to contact 2 manufactorers and 3 deliverey compnies myself as nothing was getting done waiting for landof beds to do it. I have been told on multiple occasions that I would receive details regarding this delivery such as delivery slots, date as well as talking to someone about my complaint but I never hear back and have to phone them again. I am dreading trying to get a refund.

This must be the worst company that I’ve ever dealt with! It’s taken 14 weeks to replace a mattress that was damaged when delivered with one that was acceptable. Customer services only respond when you chase them, every excuse under the sun. Didn’t even get an email or phone call to check that the 4th mattress was ok, and was promised “a gesture”of goodwill, can’t see that happening anytime soon! Save your money and spend it elsewhere is my advice.

Delivered the wrong base which should have had 2 draws. Promised 2 free pillows which did not arrive. Paid £163 for Duvet which was also missing Nicola from customer services said she would sort it, but was very matter of fact with me and made me feel it was my fault and she was doing me a favour! They boast about being retailer of the year, but I don’t see it😢 I will not shop with them again.

Please do not buy anything from this company. The customer service is very poor and not helpful infact it is appallling. We bought a superking mattress £1000 a swap old for new. We paid £39 for the old mattress removing. The delivery men would not take the new mattress upstairs stating it would not fit up the stairs and left it in our hall way and took our old mattress away, so We had no place to sleep. Nicola in customer services was argumentative and appeared to have very little knowledge of the products being sold by the company she is employed by. She advised that the old mattress was folded by the delivery men to be removed? (This is not possible a superking mattress is too large and bulky to be folded). We asked for a refund of the £39 plus further costs to us due to having to get a third party firm to take the new mattress upstairs. This has been declined . Nicola,s solution was to get another mattress a zip link that would take 2-3 weeks to be delivered when We asked where we were supposed to sleep during this time she did not know. We have sent numerous emails requesting answers to the issues but have had no joy. Nicola replies with photos taken by the delivery men which she says show the new mattress been attempted to go upstairs, the mattress was only placed on the first step and they have no moving and handling equipment, stated they could not do it as they would risk hurting their backs. These deliveries are what they are employed to do. They are not members of the Ombudsman service or even registered therefore We cannot pursue an official complaint so We are leaving negative reviews with as many sites as possible advised prospective customers not to buy from them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - they are not a member of the Furniture Ombudsman and when things go wrong it is VERY difficult to resolve the matter. Even Relyon are dreadful - IF you are daft enough to order REMEMBER you have to return within 14 days otherwise you have no chance. We have lost £1200 on two mattresses and as Senior Citizens this is a lot for us. We were told mattresses have an 11 week bedding in period so it makes a laughing stock of returns within 14 days!! Also don't forget Charge back if you paid with Visa debit/credit. 2600 springs have collapsed and we are light weights. Nicola the customer Service Manager must not be able to sleep at night and having read other reviews feel sure she must have a very hard skin!

From the initial contact it has been nothing but hassle from this company, the staff show absolutely no interest but only on upselling and are very forceful, constantly calling and actually quite intimidating. Certainly would not use again and wouldn't recommend.

I ordered a Hypnos mattress on Fri 31 May. On realising I could not try it and return it in two weeks, as Land of Beds claim, I tried to cancel the order on Monday 3 June. ‘Nicola’ said I could sleep on the mattress ‘with the packaging left on’!! How she believes this will help with deciding if a mattress suits you or not I don’t know. I’ve sent her two more e mails requesting she confirms the cancellation of the order and a full refund. So far I am being ignored.
