“I wished I had read this reviews before but yeap is true 3 weeks uniforms still has not shipped. It has been 18 days I got an email saying your order is processing. I had to buy local uniforms as they didn’t arrive in time and they said they can’t cancel the order because you only have 30 minutes to do so once you place your order. But with their timing they should just change their policy to 30 days that’s how long it takes for them to ship something. Seriously do not place an order here or if it’s for kids order the next size because by the time it arrives the kids will be taller.”
“This review is in regard to advertising that I see as I’m playing Candy Crush Saga. There’s one ad that I’ve watched so many times and every time I think how does lands in sell anything with ads like this. It shows an average looking woman in a very sloppy looking room, looking very sloppy in a shirt, half tucked only two buttons buttoned. I think it’s advertising baggy pants which you don’t even see but nothing in this ad inspires me to purchase anything from Lands’ End even though I know they have good quality clothes. I think I could get a shirt like the one shown in the ad from Salvation Army for a couple dollars. I just can’t imagine why this particular ad would be successful. Just saying.”
“My order was re-routed to an unknown address without my knowledge or permission. They wouldn't tell me what address. Tracking said it was delivered but where? They wouldn't tell me. While talking to a supervisor named Anita I was hung up on.”
“There shipping sucks I ordered shorts 14 days ago said I would receive them 4/13 -4/18 I checked today and they still weren't shipped. So I did an online chat and they could not tell me when they would be shipped. I needed them for Monday the 20th for vacation, so I asked them to cancel the order and they can't cancel the order cause it was in the packaging dept. I have never waited 2 weeks for an item to ship and never was told I could
not cancel an order when it hasn't shipped yet. I will never order again from them.”
“Bought 2 pairs of Lands End chino pants. When washed and dryed according to label instructions, both pair came straight from the dryer just before the cycle ended. They were so wrinkled they would require complete ironing. Totally unsatisfactory.”
“Contacted LE Customer Service via chat and email re: a workmanship issue. The adhesive on the seams of the upper pockets of a Squall coat I purchased about 9 years ago is no longer sticking. The inside loft is now exposed. The zippers should have been stitched in place instead of using glue to avoid this issue. The chat response was disappointing, and I have yet to receive an email response. A friend bought the exact same model around the same time as me (based on my recommendation), and she had similar workmanship issues. If this were an LL Bean coat, they would have taken it back. Unfortunately, LE's returns are good for 90 days only. This will be my last LE purchase, based on their customer service.”
“Only worn less than 10 times and the zipper breaks on the coat. Called and was told that if it has been more than 90 days, you are out of luck! I purchased it in store and don't have a record of when I purchased it, but it has been about a year. I don't know what has happened to Lands End! I used to be able to depend on their products. This was not a cheap coat, but a 3-1 squall insulated parka. I am so upset and will have to reconsider future purchases from this brand.”
“What is women’s suit less than a year ago and it is faded out so bad it looks like it belongs in the goodwill store. It was purple and now it’s all different shades of purple. Their prices are way too high and they have no free postage and they are very rude when you call them would not recommend shopping at this place.”
“I accidentally purchased a coat and tried to contact Lands End, their website gave a 404 error and their customer support number did not work. I spent hours trying to get ahold of someone when finally 8 hours later they replied to my email saying that they cannot refund me because it’s been longer than 1 hour. Their website and customer support was down that ENTIRE TIME!!! So I couldn’t get a hold of anyone and the customer service representative said here is a link to return the item when you receive it and there was NO LINK included in the email. They also let me know that orders placed after 5pm cst are not eligible to be refunded so if you are shopping after hours on their site you are SOL if you make a mistake and I could not find this information anywhere on their website because their customer support site is still giving a 404 error. This company is not honest or trustworthy. Spend your money elsewhere”
“I ordered a size 10 swimsuit, the same size I've ordered from Lands End for years. My weight hasn't changed. But when I tried the new swimsuit on it was so small I couldn't get into it at all. Then I was charged $9 for returning it. This isn't the first time I've had problems with Land's End products, deceptively sized. being far too huge or far too tiny. It has 90become.such a frequent occurence that I won't order their clothing again.”
“Long-time customer with a closet full of Lands' End clothing spanning decades, but EVERY purchase over the past two years has been a complete disappointment. The quality, both in material and design have diminished SIGNIFICANTLY. It's not even a shadow of its former self. Sadly, AVOID.”
“I agree with other customers regarding the $8.95 processing fee. It’s outrageous . I brought the item to a happy return place . I do not think I should be charged anything to return an item that’s perfectly intact with tags and all. Nordstrom’s has free shipping and returns all year. So does Zappos and many other companies. That’s it for me . I’ll be shopping elsewhere”
“Ordered a bathing suit top . Paid $58.69 with tax and shipping fees. Didn’t care for the fit. Returned item and was credited $39.79 with shipping and additional fees. What a ripoff. Will never order again.”
“Their children's clothing runs very short. Of course, their product descriptions do NOT share this information.
So, I pay $60 for an order and even though I've returned all items, I only receive $40 back and I have nothing to show for that $20 loss.
I'll. NEVER. Shop. Them. Again!!!”
“Title: Lands’ End Has Lost My Trust – Beware
I’ve been a loyal Lands’ End customer for years. As a 65-year-old senior, I depend on companies that stand behind their products with honesty and integrity. Sadly, that no longer seems to be the case here.
Last season, I ordered my 5th and 6th Tugless One-Piece Swimsuits, expecting the same durability and quality I’ve come to rely on. But one of the new suits—maroon in color—began to fade badly after just a few uses. The fading followed the exact lines where the suit had been folded and stored—clearly a defect in either the fabric or dye.
I reached out, assuming they’d do the right thing. Instead, I was met with an exhausting back-and-forth: requests for photos, tags, order numbers—you name it. After jumping through all their hoops, I was finally told I could return the suit using a free return label. So I should invest more time to make a return. No apology. No offer to replace the item or help me reorder at the original price. Nothing.
It’s now high season, and I’d have to pay nearly four times the price (plus shipping) just to get a replacement. Lands’ End clearly prioritized protecting their bottom line over doing right by a long-time customer.
This isn’t just disappointing—it’s exploitative. If a company won’t stand behind the quality of its products, especially for loyal senior customers, what does that say about its values?
I recommend you think twice before supporting a business that treats its customers as disposable. Lands’ End has lost my trust—and my business.”
“Ordered bathing suit and ups said it delivered but it could not prove delivery. Lands End supposedly reshipped and said ups took it to post office but it was never delivered.
Lands End told me they weren’t responsible. After the second shipping failure I will never order from Lands End again. They have screwed me out of $85.
Worst customer service ever.”
