About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“The colour of the boots are totally different from the foto”

“thay are nice while they last but dont put them in a dish washer as the inside plastic comes away from the inside i have 6 bowles ant this has happend to 2 of them, wash by hand only”

“Très mauvais j'ai acheté c'est bottes en février 2023 et elle sont déjà hors HS elle prennent l'eau,semelle Michelin de mauvaise qualité.pour des bottes à ce prix c'est lamentable.Je suis Mer candon samuel de la Trinite sur mer en bretagne je travaille dans lostrieculture.j attend un geste commercial où un remboursement.06 61 21 25 12 _samuel.candon@laposte.net”

“I am still waiting for the item I ordered in April. Although your customer representative Kelsey was very helpful my order is still not fulfilled. The whole process is very frustrating. I received the complementary boot bag but my main issue was still not addressed. I am still waiting for my Chelsea boots that I ordered in April. I even contacted the courier company FedEx to clarify and they have not even received the shipment other than the boot bag which was delivered and I received notification Of the delivery with the picture of the package. Kelsey was informed with all the details. I hope she is able to resolve this matter soon and despatch my order soon.”

“Chameau do not even deserve a review. I had to buy these boots to replace my £200 plus? boots that my son bought for me. They didn't last even 2 years and are leaking - I emailed your company and also fed back on line and I have never received a response. it's disgusting. I am yet to hear from you and you send me a questionnaire. Your customer service stinks! I will never recommend your boots to anyone”

“I purchased this bed with high hopes. It looks very nice however I’ve been very disappointed with how thin inner cushion is. When you press down on this you feel the floor underneath. The only way out dog will use it is if we had extra padding underneath the cushion. I can see you have replied to my review but there is no obvious way to reply to you. Please can you help ?”

“So your asking for a review 3 months after a brought the product and contacted you as I had a complaint and you wouldn’t deal with it!! Shocking”

“The quality is poor compared to the pair bought approximately 5 years ago. They are not as comfortable and the sizing has changed. I had to return my pair and buy a larger size compared to my previous ones. Also the grip is inferior. I slipped and fell which had never happened before. Please go back to the quality of the boots of 5 or 6 years ago.”

“These are my second pair of Vierzonord wellies from Chameau and I must admit, I go back to my 10 year old pair much more. The quality of the new boots are very poor. Much more flimsy and nowhere near as supportive on the foot as the older wellies. Disappointed, especially given the price you pay. Unfortunately my older pair have worn near the ankle and the rubber has ripped causing them to leak, but had I known the reduction in quality of the new wellies, I would have opted for a different brand this time round.”

“Found them not comfortable at all compared to me last (and now replaced wellies) 3 days from getting the Le Chameau wellies I hit a small stream only to get a wet foot, contacted customer service for a replacement only to be told that I had to return and for them to be tested before taking any action, this was me asking for a replacement not a refund after just days of receiving, it’s winter, I need a pair of wellies for daily use, so had to buy another pair from another brand just so I can send their faulty ones back. Order from Amazon or anywhere else the return policy is more trusting and dont automatically assume the customer is either lying or stupid! I don’t recommend.”
