About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Mon expérience client est désastreuse. J'ai essayé les chaussures et après quelques mètres les coutures du dain ont cassé à deux endroits d'une des chaussures : au niveau de la "dentelle" en daim beaucoup trop fine. Je n'ai pas renvoyé le produit car il n'y avait pas d'étiquette préafranchie et le colis était trois fois plus volumineux que la boite à chaussures... Je vais essayer de faire réparer la chaussure chez un cordonnier. Les manques de qualité de fabrication et de responsabilité écologique expliquent la note minimale.”

“Ces bottes sont très belles esthétiquement et tellement confortables. Je suis enchantée par cet achat. Il y a une dizaine d'années, j'avais acheté des bottes en cahoutchouc de cette marque. Je n'ai pas hésité à prendre des bottes de la même marque.”

“Those boots are not only excellent protective footwear to keep your feet and legs dry and safe, but it is also a great pleasure to wear them. The smooth, soft rubber feels very comfy at the feet and legs and it is quite a pleasure to stroll around in the city wearing them for hours. Due to the sturdy sole, you can wear them also on solid forest paths, even when it gets muddy. Last but not least the nice shape of the foot parts and the rather tall shafts make them look really gorgeous and stylish. All in all: those boots are quite a treat!”

“Wir als Familie wünschen uns einen Stiefel wie diesen aber für Mädchen in Größe 35 und größer!!! Unsere Tochter ist 10 Jahre alt und hat Schuhgröße 37/38. Mädchen in dem Alter haben aber idR dünnere Waden als Frauen. Super schade dass dann dieses Damen -Modell nicht passt, die Wadenweite ist doppelt so groß wie ihr Bein. Leider gibt es die Kinder-Modelle nur bis Größe 35. Viele Grüße, Familie Wüstner”

“Bought a pair of Harkila boots, soaked through in 10 minutes. Bywell shooting ground replaced them, with an additional cost to LeChameau Mufflon 2.0 extreme. Was out in what can only be described as monsoon conditions, I would have honestly expected wet feet in waders!!! Feet were dry and warm all day. What a fantastic product. Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. And, was the first day I wore them, breaking them in, walked over 10 miles. No problem. Buy these with confidence.”

“I made the decision to buy real "Wellington" style boots. Spent a lot of time and money on other boots that just don't do the job. These are fabulous. Sturdy, comfy and preliminary tests confirm the superiority of this design. Highly recommended.”

“My second pair. Lightweight, perfect for fall and spring weather. Fit is good, but I might have gone up a size to accommodate heavyweight socks. Four stars because I don't know how well they will hold up. Going to take good care of them, rinse off mud and store properly when not using to extend their life.”

“I've owned several pairs of 'Ceres' short boots. They last a couple of seasons then one boot ends up letting in water = damp toes and the pair requiring replacement. The grippy thing behind the heel makes putting on/taking off these boots with certain socks a chore. Will now look elsewhere.”

“Love this shoe! The rubber is soft and flexible so you can size down a bit. Initially I thought they were too small but there’s lots of space for your foot to move around. Good traction too.”
