About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Item arrived swiftly. The boot liner appears to be of excellent quality and fits with plenty of room into my Vauxhall Insignia. Although not yet tested in muddy and wet conditions (Border Collie and King Charles Spaniel who romp the hills daily in all weathers) I believe it will serve its purpose unlike the last two boot liners I have purchased. I chose Le Chameau as I have been delighted with the quality and longevity of my Wellies.”

“The first pair of boots arrived with a rucked-up insole so I had to send them back which is never ideal but it was dealt with really quickly and efficiently so the experience overall was good.”

“I had a pair of these Chameaus for 20 years and they were brilliant, so comfortable and perfect for wet summer/autumn/spring days - sadly they began to perish and let the water in but they served me very well. These new Giverney's are equally as comfortable so I hope they will last as long as the first pair! Thank you Le Chameau.”
