thank you for taking the time to leave a review! You're absolutely correct, the size you have is made for side sleeping and not suitable for long term back sleeping. It's simply because the space between your head and the bed is different when you side sleep (ear to bed) and when you back sleep (back of the head to bed).
If you fall asleep on your side and only swap to back at some point in the night sometimes, you're fine as the position you go to sleep in is the one you spend the most time in and so you'll still reap the benefits of optimised sleep posture.

While some people won't see a change to their sleep, especially if there's an underlying issue, we often find that instead of an underlying issue, it's due to an either wrong size of pillow or the sleeping position needing a tweak to ensure it's optimised. “The pillow is very supportive and comfortable however, it has a very strong gassing of chemicals which does not go away. Since using the pillow I have had headaches and since stopping using it the headaches have gone away. It is unfortunate as it is the most comfortable pillow yet!”

“These pillows are good just not for me you see
When you have spondylosis which is very painful you need even more support than this pillow supplies they are good pillows as you will know I have spent ££££s on pillows maybe one day I will find the right one.”
“I think it's alright. It's basically very hard foam. I've found it difficult to sleep on the side for the whole night as they say. I tried the XL and the L pillow (I am 1.92cm and 105kg), but I can't sleep on my back on those without hurting my neck. So i use the pillow when i am working from bed.”
