Hi Melanie, We'd love to help you have a better Lo-Dough experience. It's taken us 3 years of hard dedicated work to bring our product to market and it really upsets us to hear about it when someone has a bad experience. We genuinely believe that when prepared correctly Lo-Dough doesn't go like polystyrene or thick rice paper. Please, can we talk to you about how you used Lo-Dough and explain where we think you might've gone wrong? We'd love to hear from you. Please respond with your email address or drop me an email on hello@lodough.co Many thanks, Team Lo-Dough

It was really not nice to eat. I used it as a pizza base, following the instructions on the packet, and it was completely dry and crumbly. Even though I put lots of sauce on the dough, it didn't seem to absorb it even slightly and the texture was like chalk crumbling in my mouth. There was zero flavour and the texture was just unbearable. It made me very thirsty. I couldn't finish it and I threw away the second dough.

I followed the instructions to the letter, pizza fell through the bars of cooker shelf. When finally cooked it tasted like paper in fact it reminded me of the paper sweets called ufo’s Just not as sweet. Just not worth the money I paid for it

Hi there, Thanks for your review. Lo-Dough took 2 years to develop, uses expensive premium quality ingredients and is produced using an incredibly complicated and time-consuming production process. Each batch taking 8 hours to make. We feel all this goes to make Lo-Dough a truly revolutionary product with a nutritional composition, texture and shelf life unlike anything else on the market. The price is in no way deliberately set to make Lo-Dough inaccessible to people, it is simply the result of how much it costs to produce. We are working tirelessly to find ways to reduce our production costs so we can bring the price down, and we have successfully brought the price down by 7% since launching and now offer subscriptions of big boxes at a further 15% reduction. We are dedicated to bringing our product to a larger market and reducing price is at the core of this strategy. Many thanks, Team Lo-Dough

I keep receiving emails asking how my lo-dough is but it never arrived! I have emailed the customer service desk and been ignored! I’ve essentially just wasted money on nothing.

I appreciate that a low-fat, low-calorie, gluten-free pizza base won't be exactly like a traditional one, but I'd rather take a few more calories for a bit more taste and a more conventional texture.

You should have paid me to eat it. Most horrible thing I have ever tasted. Not even in a zipped pouch to keep the other one fresh, so it went mouldy after a two days. Disgusting product and disgusting price.

Hi Sara, Thanks for your review. We do advise that Lo-Dough has a 6-month shelf life. It comes in sealed packets of two pieces. Unopened these packets last up to 6 months without the need for refrigeration. Once opened the two pieces should be consumed within 1 day, although will last longer if kept in a sealed container in the fridge. Lo-Dough also freezes perfectly, once opened, you may like to freeze the second piece if you don't plan on using it straight away. Simply wrap in clingfilm and place in the freezer. Lo-Dough is so light that it will have defrosted in the time it takes to make a pizza. We have thought about changing the Lo-Dough packaging either with a zipped pouch or wrapping them individually but that would drive up the price which is in no way deliberately set to make Lo-Dough inaccessible to people, it is simply the result of how much it costs to produce. We are working tirelessly to find ways to reduce our production costs so we can bring the price down, and we have successfully brought the price down by 7% since launching and now offer subscriptions of big boxes at a further 15% reduction.
