“As usual good service - took longer than strictly needed”

“Smashed my iPhone 5s screen when dropping it in a car park on the one occasion where I'd taken it out of its case! I would have preferred to have Apple repair it 'officially' as you know exactly what you're getting, but it was impossible to get to the store's genius bar, no appointments at the weekend, and sending it away took too long. I researched for a while to find lovefone and went purely on gut feeling and feedback. Im glad I did - courier picked it up a 9 on the dot as agreed, and dropped it back to my neighbour a couple of hours later! The repair looks really good and so far no issues - this is a relief as I previously had a phone repaired elsewhere under my banks phone insurance and it was never the same again and the camera didn't focus. So I was really pleased that the same didn't happen here. The only reason for a 4* instead of a 5*, is they don't state anywhere they use official Apple parts (only the best quality parts available), and the replacement screen does seem to have very slightly less colour saturation/definition than before - of course I can't compare to confirm... but in any case I'm incredibly picky and so all in all I think its still a good job and I would probably use them again if I ever needed another replacement and couldn't get to Apple. It of course worked out about £20 cheaper than Apple even including the courier fees, so was very good value and certainly really convenient. (FYI I had deleted my pics and removed emails as a precaution but they didn't even need to unlock the phone for the repair.)”

“Very prompt and efficient service in repairing a damaged IPad 2 screen. If you search online, you can find cheaper repair quotes but the central location of LoveFone to where I work was for me a key factor. Other repairers require you to send the item by courier or arrange for someone to come and pick it up.”

“Really happy with the service, had a water damaged phone and although it wasn't fully fixed I was happy with the time and care they took with my phone and the prices were great thank you Lovefone!! Would definitely recommend”

“Not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive either. The main thing is that you get exactly what you pay for. After pre-booking they were ready and waiting to receive my phone when I arrived. The repair took even less time than quoted. All in all a very good experience. Next time I will use the optional courier service too.”

“I had a smashed screen and broken home button which they took a look at but didn't replace at my request. The screen was replaced in 10 minutes! It seems to be working fine, it's not quite as sharp visually as the original screen but barely noticeable. I got a £5 off voucher just for signing up so all in all very happy!”

HI Michaela, thanks for the feedback. Your screen should be identical to your previous one as we use original Apple LCDs. Feel free to take bring it back to us and we'll replace it free of charge.

“Google Nexus 5 - Constant rebooting - replaced power button. Found only 2 places in London that offered this service for my phone. LoveFone was central (easier to reach) and cheaper by a long way. I booked an appointment in the morning, walked in during my lunch break, had a coffee in the nearby Caffe Nero while I waited (only 45 mins) and came back to a fully functional phone. (Power button replaced for £39). They gave me time to check I was happy, and they offer a year warranty. Only been a day.. but they offer a year warranty.. so I'm confident if anything goes wrong I'll be right back there.”

“Used the courier service to fix a shattered screen on my Iphone 5C. Picked it up at 10am and had my phone back for lunch! There was a temporary glitch in that the screen they replaced it with had a grey tinge to it. Making it look hazy. But as soon as I called Roxanne (at Lovefone) she immediately arranged for another courier to pick it up for them to fix it (at no extra cost). Quite impressed! Would definitely recommend.”

“I have now used LoveFone twice. Each time they have replaced badly damaged screens on my IPhone 5 quickly within 15 minutes. The second time the new screen worked perfectly. The first time the screen could be over-sensitive but they were very responsive dealing with it. Its not the cheapest service out there but they deliver a good service so worth paying a bit more for quality assurance.”
