Very fast battery replacement, very pleasant people in the shop, but maybe I'm unlucky, the new battery appears to have no more capacity than the four and a half year old iPhone original it has replaced.

The glass in the iPhone screen is not well fitted. It is raised in relation to the phone body. It looks as though something has swollen inside the phone. I'm trying to contact the store to complain. That was not the service I was expecting from the reviews I read about lovefone. An update: I went back to the store and they have changed the screen again under warranty. It is much better now.

The service was quick and friendly. However, the colours on my phone are lot more desaturated now, if this is because if the glass you use it would have been good to have been told this. I've screens fixed before and not noticed such a colour shift. Also when slight pressure is applied to the screen now I see spots where LCD blooms. Overall not that happy with it really

The service was good - quick and my new screen was well fitted. However, the new screen seems much poorer quality than the old one - it is much less sensitive, and I am very disappointed in this respect.

They fixed my iPad beautifully and returned it by 5pm as requested - thank you. Bit of a shame that I was charged full price for the courier despite them being 40mins late initially and me having to chase to find out what was going on. The website states that it takes 2 hours so my understanding was it'd be picked up at 1pm and dropped back repaired etc. by 3pm. In the end it was picked up at 1:40pm and returned at 4:55pm, and charged £11 for courier... not quite what was advertised hence my 'Acceptable' rating. It would be nice to have an email confirmation and instructions sent prior to them picking up the device rather than after payment, and if the information was consistent (1 year warranty vs lifetime?).

I don't have any problem with the quality of the work replacing my daughter's iPad screen, which seems very good, but I was very unhappy with your marketing and customer service. I received an unsolicited email from you on 14th April entitled '£20 off screen repairs'. At the time I didn't need any work done, but when my daughter broke her iPad screen a week or two ago I remembered your email and contacted you by replying to it. I didn't think to read the email right to the bottom as it seemed completely clear in the title. It was only when I was paying for the repairs that I found out that the £20 quoted actually means £10 (when the small print was pointed out to me). I feel this is very sharp practice, which coloured my whole view of your service and left me feeling unimpressed where I might otherwise have been very happy.

The phone was done quickly, but there are dead pixels still on the middle of my screen, and I had to pull a bit of glue out that was peeking out of the new screen replacement. Not 100%, but what I needed at that moment.

I've used a lot Lovefone in the last year, and i did find my self really well with them especially the first couple of times. They are fast (30 min or less and you get your phone back), and very polite and always smiling. The only annoying problem that i've found with them is about the new screens they put to replace the broken ones. I don't think the screens they put are of the same high quality to the original apple ones. Since i bought my iphone 5 maybe more than two years ago, it felt on the floor in every way possible maybe more than 100 times without any problem what so ever, and one day last March in Hanoi finally the screen exploded after one of the usual falls. When i got back to London i went to Lovefone and when after 30 minutes i've got it back, i was very happy and pleased with the outcome. But unfortunately after few days the phone felt again while i was sitting down, so from not a very high distance and not in a flat way but on the side, i took it up and the screen was broken again. This happened 4 times and every time i used Lovefone to replace the screens (£74 each time). So the last time it happened i started to have some doubts and thinking that Lovefone maybe uses very low quality screens as replacements, and that is very unfortunate because they are very good in what they do, and i believe that if they would use better screens (although this would mean higher prices ) you won't need to replace your screen everytime the phone falls. i know i have very buttery hands, but i had them as well before and the phone with the original screen felt 100 times before it crashed and i needed to see Lovefone. For the rest of the parts i found them really good my problem is only with screens they use to replace the broken that i think they are not of great quality and at the first bump they brake.

Very efficient and convenient, however the work they did was to replace my broken screen and the replacement seems very inferior to the original Apple screen. Within a week I have several deep scratches on the screen which I've never had with an IPhone screen before. The new screen also seems to have affected the proximity sensor so now I can't make calls without all the buttons being pressed when I hold it to my face.

First of all, the problem I went in for was that my phone wouldn't really charge and this was fixed. However, I paid for a replacement charging port and I suspect that all that happen was that the existing port was blasted with compressed air. I suspect this because my phone hadn't been switched off and the charging port still had dust around the entrance. So either a new dirty port was used or it wasn't changed. If that is the case, I paid for something which didn't happen which isn't very pleasing.

I previously left a review saying how pleased I was with the service I received. While I am still happy with how quickly and efficiently I was served, I am disappointed with the quality of the replacement parts - the cheap plastic back that was put on my iPhone has now cracked from using a phone holder in the car. Next time I will check that they at least use a proper glass replacement. Sadly now not so happy with LoveFone.

After the trauma of smashing my screen for the first time, I was super impressed with the service and incredibly happy when I first walked out of the store. The overall rating, however, was lowered by the fact that my screen began acting strangely a few minutes after I walked out of the store and has kept doing so periodically. Though it seems to be something I can fix by locking and unlocking my phone, I will be returning to the store within the next few days to have it checked out. Five start service if it weren't for that glitch, though!

Very fast turnaround - posted to Lovefone on Monday, phone returned on Wednesday. Super communication online. Phone glass was repaired, phone was fine otherwise. Glass replaced and looks great. Downside is that the phone accumulated some marks/scratches in the process, so now I have some shiny aluminium showing on the edge where before there was matt black. I guess it was from the tool that was used to remove the original glass. I'll live with it (they aren't big), but that was unexpected and somewhat disappointing. I wouldn't have expected any tool that might scratch to be used. If it wasn't for the scratches, this would be an absolutely glowing review.

I sent off a Nexus 5 with a display problem. Once it arrived with lovefone it took more than a day before they dispatched it. When it arrived, the screen was in a worse state. It did not accept any touch, it was not seated properly and after a few minutes it started acting on what seemed like random touches even though no one was near it - it even opened up the emergency key pad and started dialling random numbers. They offered to fix it, so off when the phone again - this was a bit quicker and the phone was despatched on the same day they received it. This time the screens works fine and is seated correctly - however, something under the screen is now obscuring the notification LED. Lovefone claim this must have happened during delivery! I had to put my case to their customer care person very strongly to get them to accept they had to fix this. So, I now need to package up my phone for a third time in the hope of a proper repair. Third time lucky? UPDATE: Yes, third time lucky. I had to chase them up to refund my postage but they did do this without question. The final repair is first class - just painful getting there.
