“The process was easyto book, and has been amended to ensure all elements are laid out. I would suggest slightly more baggage allowance info, and how to book a little extra weight. Private transfer info was easy to follow, for group booking.”

“Some holidays are enjoyable, but this one was genuinely unforgettable. Porto has a way of getting under your skin—the colourful buildings, the riverside views, the incredible food, and the relaxed atmosphere made it one of the most beautiful cities we’ve ever visited. A huge part of that experience was staying at Fénix Hotel Porto. The hotel was everything we hoped for and more. It was impeccably clean, stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located, which meant we could explore the city with ease. Every day we discovered something new, and every evening it felt like coming home to a place where we could completely unwind. The staff were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. It’s the kind of hotel that quietly makes your holiday better in every possible way. What impressed us most was how incredibly easy the entire trip was. Booking through Loveholidays was seamless from start to finish. The website was easy to use, the booking process was straightforward, and all our travel information was organised clearly and efficiently. There was no stress, no uncertainty, and no endless searching through emails—everything was exactly where it needed to be. That level of organisation gave us complete confidence before we’d even left home. Our EasyJet flights were equally smooth and hassle-free. Check-in was simple, boarding was well organised, and the journey to and from Porto was comfortable and efficient. It felt like every part of the trip had been perfectly connected. What made this holiday truly special wasn’t just the destination—it was how effortless everything felt. Instead of worrying about logistics, we spent our time watching the sunset over the Douro River, wandering through Porto’s charming streets, and creating memories we’ll treasure for years to come. In a world where travel can sometimes feel complicated, this holiday reminded us how wonderful it is when everything simply falls into place. Loveholidays gave us more than a booking—they gave us peace of mind and the freedom to enjoy every single moment. We came home with hundreds of photos, amazing memories, and one very definite conclusion: this was one of the best holidays we’ve ever had, and we’ll be booking with Loveholidays again without hesitation.”

“We had such a wonderful stay that I wanted to add a few more words. From the moment we arrived, Adrian at reception made us feel incredibly welcome. He checked us in with a warm smile, was kind, professional, and made the start of our holiday so easy and enjoyable. The hotel has so much to offer. We loved the pools, the entertainment team who worked so hard to keep both children and adults entertained, the beautiful location close to the sea and restaurants, the clean and comfortable rooms with amazing views, and all the friendly staff who made us feel at home. The free water was also a lovely touch and much appreciated. A very special thank you goes to one of the entertainment team members, “Captain Chicken Nuggets.” He was absolutely fantastic with the children and made our stay so much more special and enjoyable. His energy, enthusiasm, and ability to make children laugh and smile were incredible. He is a very talented employee who brings tremendous value to the hotel and creates wonderful memories for families. People like him are one of the reasons guests want to come back. Our only regret is that we didn’t have lunch at the hotel every day! We only tried it on our last day before checking out, and we wish we had discovered it sooner. The food was absolutely heavenly. From the freshly prepared meat dishes to the incredible desserts, everything just melted in our mouths. There was such a huge variety to choose from. We had been eating outside most days, where lunch with drinks for one adult and one child usually came to around £40. At the hotel, we paid just £33 for both of us, and it was worth every penny. The quality was outstanding, and it was actually better value than eating elsewhere. And I have to mention the red velvet cake—it was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted! We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. Thank you to Adrian, Captain Chicken Nuggets, and the entire team for making our holiday so special.”
