“The face toner is wonderful however it would be far better in a spritz spray or a small opening and a flexible bottle as there is too much wastage with the rigid bottle and large opening”

“very nice products but the exfoliating bar only lasted for 3 showers so made it an expensive purchase.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and we're glad to hear that you like the soaps. Really surprised to hear this, as the bar 150g and should last a lot longer than this, in the 2019 Free From Skincare Awards those that tested the soaps were impressed with how long it lasted and maintained its shape, our Spearmint Exfoliating Soap won Silver, and our Fragrance Free won Gold, due to this as well as how they left the skin feeling, and how well they lathered. Brilliant! The sample sachets are a great way to try the Face Cream and Cleanser and you'll find that a little goes a long way. If you order these on their own we send these out with free delivery, via Royal Mail. Petrina

“I have tried a fair share of coconut oils (both good and bad). I must say I could taste a distinctive difference as soon as I tasted Lucy Bee coconut oil. Clean, mellow, pure tasting - that is how I would describe it! I will definately repurchase!”

“I love the creamed coconut that comes in a jar. As someone who often makes coconut curries, I find the convenience and control over how much/how creamy very appealing and more eco friendly than buying individual sachets or tins of coconut milk. That said, I purchased some other products from Lucy Bee recently with my order of creamed coconut and most of them came in a plastic wrapping inside a paper box. I understand that food hygiene and choice of packaging suitable for delivering online orders is key but would welcome a review of this in future to reduce the use of single use plastic.”

Thank you for your review - we're so pleased to hear that you like the Creamed Coconut, it is such a versatile product and can really transform a simple dish! With regards to the packaging of the other products, we use FSC paper and card wherever possible to pack out the parcels, as I hope you'll understand, we do need the products to get to you in one piece and we have found that parcels can be thrown around when they are in transit. With our Coconut Milk and Coconut Water, we have to put them in a plastic bag because if they leak, they will destroy all the other products in the parcel. We also are not meant to ship liquids, so as well as destroying your parcel, it might also destroy someone else's in the same van. We are always looking for ways to improve and this is high on our list. Hopefully we will be have another option soon. Georgia

It's great that you are happy with your skincare but we're sorry to hear you don't like the smell. We chose to keep this range of products fragrance free so that everyone can use them - a lot of people can have reactions to fragrances and essential oils so we chose to leave these out. The smell of these products is just the natural aroma of the ingredients used in the formulation. Thank you for leaving your feedback, it's always taken on board. Georgia

Brilliant that you love the new cleanser and muslin cloth. Sorry to hear that you aren't a fan of the aluminium tube though. Our previous cleanser was in a glass bottle and the feedback we received from that, was that people couldn't get the remainders out at the bottom, so we thought this would be a good alternative. “Great products.. As expected with the brand. It took me a long time to make the decision to purchase because I found it quite expensive but totally not disappointed. Find the moisturiser quite greesy but perhaps it's my skin adjusting to it.”

Or making sure the face is completely dry before applying the tonic? Stickiness isn’t something we have heard of before so wanted to check with you on your application of it. Daisy

“Fabulous natural products and super hydrating!! I can tell the products are really kind to my skin and there’s no irritation or redness at all even when removing eye makeup. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that I feel like I need a lot of the cleanser to thoroughly remove my makeup and so I’m going to go through it really quickly, a bigger tube option would be better.”

“The cocnut milk and water came really quickly which was excellent. I'm still not convinced the milk is an alternative to cow milk for tea and coffee but it's a step in the right direction. Cutting down cow milk use anyway. I see that the coconuts come from The Phillipines; great for local farmers as I assume it is Fair Trade certified but the carbon footprint getting the product over to the UK must be huge.”

Hi Gareth, Thank you for your feedback and it's great to hear that you're happy with the service from us. Obviously taste is a very personal thing and while one person might love our Coconut Milk in tea and coffee, others will disagree. Being 99.9% coconut means this does have a coconut taste to it. I'm happy to confirm that this is certified Fair Trade and we mention on the carton how these contributions help the local community, families, workers and farmers who grow the coconuts. Fair Trade and its benefits is something that we are passionate about and Lucy has written a great blog about her trip to the Philippines where she saw first hand how the funds are used and making a positive difference to lives. The great thing with FairTSA, who certify our products, is that the funds are used for the benefit of the actual community and workers providing the goods. With regard to your thoughts on the carbon footprint, coconuts are not grown in the UK. Shipments of our products from the Philippines are streamlined in such as way as to be efficient and cost effective but unfortunately in the world that we live with the demand for products from around the world, there is not an easy solution to this. I assure you, however, that we do everything we can in other ways to be as eco-friendly as we can, from our packaging to ethical certifications of the product range. Take care, Petrina

“Excellent service - placed my order around 11am one day and received it in the post the next day. Cant review the product as I have bought it for someone as a present but it certainly smelt lovely. I purchased the spearmint, bazil and clove exfoliating bar. Would definitely buy from Lucy Bee again.”

HI Shirley, I hope the recipient enjoys our Spearmint Exfoliating Soap bar. As you've mentioned, the smell is divine! This soap recently won Silver at the 2019 Free From Skincare Awards (whiles our Fragrance Free won Gold), about which we're all really happy. Our entire range of Soaps are free from palm oil and give a wonderful rich lather. All are certified Vegan, COSMOS Organic and Fair Trade and leave your skin feeling really clean and moisturised. One other thing (!), the Exfoliating bar is brilliant to take on holiday in hand luggage and washes off suntan lotion effectively! Petrina

Orders which are placed after 12pm are generally processed the next working day, and should be with you within 2-3 working days after your order has been processed.
