Love that all the products are ethical. My only little gripe is that postage is quite expensive, especially if you're only ordering a couple of things.

Hi Kirsty, thank you for your feedback regarding postage. For most UK addresses we offer free delivery over £25 and £2.99 delivery for £15 or over. Anything under that is a little more expensive, simply because we pass over what we are charged by DPD to send your delivery tracked. When people spend more, Lucy Bee are able to cover a little bit of the postage. However, it is something that we are constantly working on and we hope to reduce all postage costs eventually. Georgia

Really love the face polish with juniper. The only downfall is the packaging. It cane in its own box in another box then another and then bigger box to fit with the coconut oil.

Thank you for your review, Michaela. We're pleased to hear that you are enjoying your Face Exfoliator. With regards to the packaging, as it's a new range of products we want to be sure that they get to you in one piece so we are testing out options to see what is necessary. They are expensive products so the last thing we would want is for them to arrive with you smashed. We are working on it though and hope to have reduced the amount of packaging ASAP. Georgia

My only issue is that there was only one delivery option (unless I missed something!) which cost £7 And the product I bought only cost me £5. There was also quite a lot of packaging for a very small box. I do love your products though.

Thanks for your feedback, Helen. Unfortunately when we send our products out we are charged by DPD to get them to you, regardless of the size of the product. If you spend over £15 then it's £2.99 and over £25.00 is free delivery. When more money is spent, Lucy Bee are able to swallow a bit of the cost. I hope this helps to clear everything up and I hope you are enjoying your products! Georgia

Great products but way too much packaging. I appreciate it was all recyclable but was there really any need for it in the first place . 3 tiny items came in a huge box followed by more boxes .

Hi Hayley, thank you for your feedback. We are really trying to find a balance with our packaging at the moment. As you say, we have used recyclable materials throughout and we want to make sure that everything arrives with you in one piece. It's a work in progress and hopefully next time you order, we will have achieved a happy medium. Thank you again for taking the time to send us your feedback. Georgia

Lovely products and excellent customer service. Had a bit of an issue with the delivery via DPD however, Petrina was just so efficient and helpful, thank you. The only readon I haven’t given 5 stars is due to the excess packaging used. I will certainly recommend Lucy Bee

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate your feedback. I'm glad that Petrina could resolve your issue for you regarding DPD. With reference to the packaging, everything we use is recyclable, however we are working on how best to pack our products as we have had breakages in the past, so we need to make sure all of our products get to you in one piece. It's a work in progress and hopefully next time you order we will have reduced the amount of packaging you receive! Enjoy your products! Georgia

Fast delivery. Beautiful coconut oil. Could do with a bit less packaging so as to be greener.

We are so pleased that you are pleased with your coconut oil. With regards to packaging - please understand that we are always doing a balancing act with fragile products. Where we try and protect fragile products but be as environmentally friendly as possible! A customer recently said she was re-using the brown paper for wrapping paper - great idea with Christmas approaching. Jess

Love the product, but so much packing, could this not be less. I’d happy to have the pot sealed and sent through the post with no packing.

Hi Jean, Many thanks for your feedback. When sending out orders, we have a bit of a balancing act between being environmentally-friendly with the packaging and, at the same time, making sure your items arrive undamaged. With orders being sent via courier, as ours are, each parcel is handled several times from when it leaves our warehouse, to when it arrives with you. From experience, we need to pack our 5 litre Coconut Oil really well, to avoid it getting damaged/broken during delivery and this is why we've packed this in the way you've seen. We've tried various different ways and this seems to be the most efficient in terms of it getting to customers undamaged. That said, like you, we're conscious of the packing materials involved and are currently awaiting new packaging for the 5 litres, with a purpose built box. Unfortunately, if this was sent without packaging, from what we've seen in the past, this wouldn't survive the journey, I'm afraid. I'm glad you're enjoying using our Coconut Oil and appreciate your thoughts. Petrina

I was thrilled and delighted to receive my order free of any plastic packaging, sadly I do need to comment on the ENORMOUS amount of brown paper used to fill the box. I realise the need to package safely but I was quite shocked. That said, I have ironed it and rolled it up so I can use it for Christmas wrapping paper!!

Hi, thank you for your review. You would be surprised at how many parcels get damaged, therefore, we are constantly doing a balancing act of being as eco-friendly as possible and also getting your fragile products to you in one piece. I hope you understand. We are so glad to hear that you found another use for the brown paper :) one that we will recommend to other customers too. Please note that the brown paper is also recyclable! I received my order in good time. Well packaged. Sadly I didn’t like the taste of the coconut milk. It’s down to personal taste. Nothing to do with the product. So my niece was delighted when I gave the 6litres to her instead.

HI Tracey, I'm so pleased to hear that your order arrived quickly, and it's a shame the taste of our Coconut Milk isn't for you - as you say, taste is so personal and it's great that your niece is enjoying it! Petrina

Received my order quickly, tried the golden latte mix...it’s not for me but that’s just taste. Happy to receive the free soap bar but a little dissapointed it came wrapped in plastic after the bar was all natural ingredients, all the other packing was easily recycled.

Thank you for your feedback, Lesley. If you aren't keen on the Turmeric Latte Mix as a drink then you could try using it in your food - there are a few recipes on our website. It makes a great marinade for vegetables, meat, fish, even granola! Regarding the soap, the plastic sachet is required to protect and preserve the soap’s unique formulation, whilst in storage. Soaps are normally made from palm oil and a soap made wholly from coconut oil, as ours is, is uncommon. With its better foaming and lathering qualities than soaps made with palm oil, this unique formula means the soap can sweat, which presents something of a challenge to us in storing it, hence the use of flow wrap. We realise that this is not ideal and assure you that the packaging weight is minimised and the material is recyclable. We are currently in talks with a few companies who might be able to help us find a suitable material but it's a long process. We are doing everything in our power to eliminate plastic from all of our products and we won't stop until we find the perfect solution! Georgia

I have so far tried the ccoconut oil. At first I was confusedcand it smelled very little so I was checking the jar label to ensure I did not purchase rafined oil. But then I read the leaflet about coconut oil and belived that not always it must smell very coconut. In fact that is a bit surprising as I started making my own oil using a slow juicer and it smells very strong coconut as I made it straight from a fresh coconut flesh. Anyway, I am happy with the purchase and will come back soon for other goodies you offer.😊 Delivery was quick and all well packed. Thank you.

Thank you for your review, Izabela. We can confirm that our oil is completely raw, cold pressed, unrefined, organic, Fair Trade coconut oil. Our oil from Sri Lanka (orange lid) has a lighter aroma and taste so perhaps this is why it doesn't smell as strong. This is simply down to where the coconuts are grown. I hope you're enjoying your products! Georgia

At Lucy Bee, we're passionate about Fair Trade and believe in the benefits of organic farming, to help not only our own health but that of the planet too. We take a lot of care in sourcing our products, which not only have to be of the best quality, Fair Trade and organically grown but also pass the 'taste test' with our team - we all love and use each product in our range. Love the products that I bought online. I’m a bit disappointed with the creamed coconut fair trade organic I’ve got which I bought in Sainsbury’s. Unlike other organic coconut when I use it to cook it doesn’t melt, it burns and so I simply can’t use it for cooking. I’ve previously used the standard Lucy Bee coconut and haven’t had a problem but couldn’t find it today in supermarket so went back to trusted vita coco one.

Hi Armanda, I wonder if you're confusing the use of Creamed Coconut and Coconut Oil. Creamed Coconut is pureed coconut flesh and naturally contains a little oil. It is not recommended for frying and instead is used to make coconut milk; add to sauces and curries for a creamy texture; used in cakes and bakes. On the other hand, Coconut Oil is the perfect replacement to processed oils in cooking, including frying. I hope this helps and if you have any queries, please do get in touch at info@lucybee.com
