The good bits: The Lupe has the best suction I have ever had from a vacuum cleaner, even on the lowest power. Its power is far superior to Dyson and I can vacuum my entire house using the lowest setting. The bad bits: There seem to be a few design flaws. The hose is too short and you end up pulling the vacuum over. The dust bin is a nightmare to empty. All the dust gets stuck around the filter. Its a real problem to get out. The help desk told me to get it out with my fingers or a brush which is disgusting. I am asthmatic so this is less than ideal. The additional tools are very basic, I would expect more from a vacuum at this price level. I decided to keep the Lupe simply because I couldn't be bothered to return it and the suction is far superior to any other machine I have used. However let's see if it continues to perform six months down the line.

Hi Debbie, Thank you for reviewing the Pure Cordless and for providing us with your detailed feedback and suggestions. I'll be passing it along to our engineers for review. With regards to emptying the bin more easily, I would suggest reading the below page as the last section explains how to remove the cyclone to dislodge any debris stuck in the bin. https://lupetechnology.com/pages/get-the-best-out-of-your-pure-cordless Best, The team at Lupe

Really like it. However, I feel that the battery life could be longer. Also, dirt tends to get caught at the top of the tray (by the handle) and gets stuck there, not letting everything fall in to the tray. These are minor, but for the price paid, I feel as if they should be addressed.

Hi Juan, Thank you for taking the time to review your Pure Cordless. See below the battery run time on each power mode: 1. eco: power level for maximum cleaning time, up to 60 min. 2. normal: default level that is suitable for general use, up to 30 min. 3. max: enhanced power for particularly dirty areas, up to 15 min. We would recommend using the eco mode as your default setting as the suction power on eco is excellent and will still get your carpets deep cleaned. With regards to the dust bin, we recommend using a cloth to get the trapped dust out of the bin. We will also make sure to address this in future iterations. Best, The team at Lupe

We have had a lot of clogging issues due to small leaves and dog hair. Also hair gets wrapped around front roller and collects there instead of getting sucked up.

Hi Brandon, Thank you for your feedback. Our engineers are currently working on an anti-hair wrap feature to optimise the Pure Cordless head for hair pick-up. I have made a note of your comment and will make sure to get in touch once this is released. Best, The team at Lupe

After waiting ages to receive it, unfortunately for me it’s been a big letdown. I can see a lot of effort went into it and I appreciate that. Dislikes: * The nozzle struggles to stay down on carpet. The miniature hose connecting it to the vacuum seems too tight and pulls the nozzle upward * The dustbin never opens fully when the button is pressed. It sticks and needs to be pulled open with a finger to empty it (gross) * It does not get under furniture as well as the Dyson does * The on/off button sticks half the time when turning it off and requires a second push to turn it off * The tools fall off too easily from their clip * The main hose like the one at the nozzle wants to retract too easily making its use too annoying to bother. It feels too short and twice the machine has fallen over because the hose requires too much effort to keep extended

Hi Alan, Thanks for your review of the Pure Cordless and we are sorry to read that it has been a letdown. With regards to the nozzle struggling to stay down on carpet, we would recommend checking if there is a blockage in the first bit of the hose coming out of the top of the head as this might cause your machine to lift up. If this isn't the case, please get in touch via the following page and one of our engineer will advise on the best steps to take to get your machine fully operational (https://lupetechnology.com/pages/contact-us). When emptying the dust bin, we would recommend using a cloth so that you don't have to use your hands. As for the rest of your feedback, we will make sure we take it into account for future iterations. Best, The team at Lupe

The black hose that you can add the attachments to and clean other surfaces, is not well engineered. It is entirely too stiff and does no extend easily. In fact, it is so prone to pulling back and not extending, that it makes the vacuum fall over constantly. If I could, I would return it for this reason to get my money back despite the rest of the vacuum working exceptionally well. Otherwise I would have gladly given a rating of 5 out of 5. Is there a remedy to this? Please advise. Thank you.

Hi Kurt, Thank you for your feedback. Our engineers plan on working on a new attachment that would make the current hose more extendable. We have made a note of your comment and will be in touch once this is available. Best, The team at Lupe

It gives a click sound when in use and I have difficulties in cleaning the cup that holds the filter.

Could be great but we have couple issues: a) cleaning hard floors with bigger debris on the floor is impossible to clean by rolling the vaccuum. Basically bigger debris can't go through the main head rubber cylinder. You need to raise the head and put on the debris. b) toothbrush on the main head went of (unglued) after 2nd use.

Hi Ernestas, Thank you for taking the time to review your Pure Cordless and for your feedback. Sorry to hear you are having difficulty picking up large debris. We have done a lot of testing and found the Pure Cordless to be exceptional with large debris compared to its competition. The front roller allows most types of large debris in whilst maintaining a good seal to the floor to maximise performance. However, some debris are difficult to pick up, especially if you have silky smooth floors. An example of this would be a round hard chickpea which is particularly hard for our roller to get a grip of, it is a bit like picking up a hard jelly bean sweet with a pair of chopsticks. With regards to the rear edge seal (toothbrush), please get in touch with our technical team from our website's troubleshooting page (https://lupetechnology.com/pages/pure-cordless-troubleshooting) as they will be able to help. The Lupe's suction is very good it also brushes well. So this part is excellent. However: The Lupe is quite heavy (compared to Dyson) and not always very easy to handle. The dirt holder release button does not work properly. Filters of the dirt holder easily get clogged. It requires many actions (at least 4) to be able to use the Lupe differently than just floor cleaning. You then have to carry the Lupe as else it keeps falling over (and it is quite heavy). Also when cleaning the floor the Lupe often switches of due to going back in upright position. Last as the brush holder is big you cannot get under all furniture. In general this is a very good vacuum cleaner but not easy in handling.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to review the Lupe Pure Cordless. The machine was designed without compromise hence why it weighs more than other models. However, one of the main benefits of an upright configuration is that it helps to put the weight of the main body towards the floor, which significantly reduces the weight in your hand compared to a stick vacuum cleaner. So even though the pure cordless is heavier than some, the weight in hand is less than the lighter stick vacs making it easier to use around the home ( you can read more on this in our latest blog post: https://lupetechnology.com/blogs/news/why-we-chose-not-to-follow-the-stick-vacuum-cleaner-trend). Sorry to hear the release button does not work properly. Please do get in touch with us and we can sort any issues out. With regards to the filters, it is inevitable that they get blocked with dirt. We recommend washing them at least every month depending on how much you use your vacuum cleaner. The roller and brush bar do automatically switch off when the vacuum is almost upright, but this should happen at approximately 10 degrees from upright so should not affect normal vacuum during cleaning. Thank you for your feedback on cleaning the stairs, we will work on this for future development. Best, The team at Lupe

Hi John, Thank you for your review of the Pure Cordless. We would recommend referring to the Pure Cordless user guide included with your new machine for installation of the battery and dust bin. Please get in touch should you still experience issues with the head of the Pure Cordless lifting up as one of our engineers will be able to advise. Best, The team at Lupe

The machine is great for cleaning. It will be better if the noise can lower and having a more flexible handling. It is too bucky to move around though one can use the turning head to try to move around. It's design is one off forward moving which is difficult to move around in small area.

Hi Corinna, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Our patented suction intensifier technology locks the performance in all the time meaning that it can take a few uses to get used to the Pure Cordless head from a traditional cordless vacuum. After a few uses, you'll find that the head moves seamlessly from one surface to another. Being a true 3-in-1 vacuum, you'll also find that the hose and handheld modes are great for cleaning small spaces. Best, The team at Lupe
