Unfortunately I can’t review the vacuum itself because I haven’t received it yet but I can review the woeful distribution service provided. The initial dispatch advice from UPS informed me that import fees were due on my delivery (free p+p!)??. After informing yourselves about this, having to refuse the subsequent delivery due to the charges and over a week later… I still don’t have a vacuum. Although I have had most of my emails replied to assuring me that the problem had been sorted… still no vacuum on the horizon. This is very disappointing. I await the vacuums second trip to my door. After waiting for a few moths, I finally received my Lupe! I was extremely excited to use it around the house but after using it for a few days, I can only share disappointment: - The vacuum is heavy for my wife and even for me (42 year old man). - The design is not convenient for left-handed people, especially when you use the accessories and have to hold the canister with your right hand. The hose comes out on the right side of the unit. - Falls very easily when using attachements, you will have to hold the unit constantly to avoid drops. - There is no handle to lift the vacuum other than the canister itself which puts a lot of pressure on it and could break the seal. - Very loud, even on low setting, extremely loud on high setting. - The feel quality of the plastics does not inspire high quality. - Scratches easily, as mentioned earlier, when using the accessories, it is almost inevitable that the unit will drop, especially for left-handed people, the Lupe logo was scratched at the first light drop. - The soft roller sticks to the tiles and makes the unit hard to maneuver. - Retro-Style, love it or hate it but it does not look like your next-gen vacuum. - Very limited reach under furniture, the head is too large and the bending angle does not allow to go far under furniture. - Maneuvering is not smooth and the turning angle is limited. - The suction is decent but not comparable to other higher-end models. - The battery life on high setting (necessary to clean carpets well) is extremely short. I was not able to finish a 200 sq/ft room with a fully charged battery. - The charge time is too long, 3+ hours for a full charge. - Requires some serious muscles to move on carpet, my wife almost gave up vacuuming our only carpeted room. Nice thinking but not worth the high price.

After not even 1 month and my battery lights 1&2 are flashing meaning incorrect charger. I am using a Lupe factory charger that came with my vacuum to charge it and have only used the vacuum maybe 5 -10 times. Please help me fix this issue. I really liked the vacuum otherwise.

My order says it shipped 11 days ago but DHL returned it to shipper. No communication since. I have emaild several times and no response.

The battery does not last for more than 20 mins on high. Hard and heavy on wrist to use. Will not go under beds or radiators. Very unsatisfactory when want to clean for a morning , needs at least 2batteries. Very unsatisfactory and am going to return it and hope to get a full refund .

Hi Jennifer So sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. You should be getting the following from your battery: eco Power level for maximum cleaning time, up to 60 min. normal Default level that is suitable for general use, up to 30 min. max Enhanced power for particularly dirty areas, up to 15 min & the hand held mode & tools will assist with hard to reach places. My Lupe is not what I expected and I would like to return it because I am not satisfied. In using only for a few minutes on a wool carpet, 7-1/2 ft x 10 ft, it would not pick up anything into the vacumn. It just pushed the fuzz or whatever it was picking up around the blades and deposited that on the floor. It was also not good in picking up a crumb or whatever was on my hardwood floor no matter how high or low the power was. On my wool rug it didn't pick up anything, with the brush bar on or off. My wool rug is not a high pile, the pile is quite level. It is only a throw rug under my cocktail table and around it on the hardwood floor but not under any furniture. I would appreciate hearing from you as to how I return it and the address I must send it to. It is a waste of money, I don't like the way it handles, when you push it. I rate it as Very Poor.

I have tried to love this vacuum but have been constantly disappointed. Let me first say the customer service has been impeccable. They have attempted to assist me in solving a number of issues. However, it hasn’t ended the multiple issues that continue to arise. This morning while vacuuming sand from my child’s shoe it has just moved it around. Tired of fiddling with it and cleaning it…. Just want it to work each time I want to use it. Frustrated. When it works it is fantastic and impressive. Seriously considering buying a new vacuum. 😞

Can't say much about the tech but the reps sure know how to soak the money out of you. Bought one DIRECT FROM LUPE @ $649 only to find out a couple days later they had a "September" promotion @ $599 (I purchased the vacuum in September.) Wrote and asked Julie Tyler if I could get a discount on the battery being they didn't give me the promotion price and I'd have been happy with even something under the $50 extra I paid. Julie Tyler emailed me a "Special Price" of $121 for a 2nd battery. A one dollar INCREASE over what one pays for a 2nd battery at purchase. Technically okay but extremely poor business practice. I would have posted several positive reviews which I noted in my correspondence but now....as I said to Julie Tyler, I will (and DID purchase online the 2nd battery at the $121 price) buy the 2nd battery but I told her that I just don't think I'll have the time to post any positive reviews. So my issue is not with the vacuum, though I won't say anything about it good or bad being the company is so stingy and poorly managed. What do you think?

I was so looking forward to using the Lupe vacuum cleaner. However, I was disappointed with it for multiple reasons. The design of the vacuum head does generate better suction, which also create more drag on the carpet surface and requires more effort to push when vacuuming. On several occasions, the brush turned itself off while I was vacuuming the carpet and required me to have to turn it back on. The design of the vacuum also did not allow me to reach under the bed and other furniture as I was able to do with another wan-designed vacuum. Considering the high price for this vacuum, more than $800-US, I'm not satisfied with this purchase and will seek a refund. This is an additional review comment regarding Lupe Technology return policy. Before buying, be aware that the buyer is responsible for the cost to ship the product back to the company. Also, the delivery cost, which was "free" when the vacuum was purchased will be deducted from the refund. In other words, you will incur two shipping costs when you return the product. "The cost of return is the sole cost of the person returning the item." "Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, any delivery costs will be deducted from your refund."

Love that it is cordless, not heavy and looks like quality. Works great on hardwood floors, but mine is not working on carpet. That is not good at all, especially for the price! I have contacted Lupe and hope they can help. Unfortunately I purchased this during the busy holiday season and have not had time to deal with this. I hope I am given more time to return or resolve.

The suction power is great. But there's a design issue with the trash bin where pet hair and debris will get stuck in the middle of the canister. And since the canister is L-shaped, have to use a stick to pull out the stuck debris. Also the cyclone is difficult to remove and once it is removed, now dust is coming out from both ends. The trash bin lid also require two hands to open. How do you expect elderly folks to use this daily? Look at Dyson V11 on how easy to empty the bin and easily to remove the entire canister. I bought one for myself and one for my in-law and had to return both for it is very difficult to operate.

I really was impressed with how easy it assembled, HOWEVER the battery would not charge leaving me with a fancy sculpture. I am almost 76 and need someone to help correct this situation.

I received a unit with a defective battery. I contacted the company and was told they would send me another battery. After waiting a year to get the vacuum I’m still waiting several more weeks to get a battery so I can use it. I can’t really rate the effectiveness of the unit since I can’t use it.

However, one of the main benefits of an upright configuration is that it helps to put the weight of the main body towards the floor, which significantly reduces the weight in your hand compared to a stick vacuum cleaner.
