Shame on you all. More than 45 minutes waiting in the plain for someone to bring the stairs. And now more than one hour waiting for the laguagge. If you are not able to start work at 7am than start at 10 but offer the service that we are paying for. Asking staff whats going on they just ignore you or the answer is " we don't know". Shame on you

A bad airport. Deceptive pricing practices may push down the cost of flights, but if you have to pay a surcharge to drop-off at the airport, get a ziplock bag for liquids and gels, etc, then it amounts to the same thing. At the very least ask airlines to publicize these fees so customers aren’t caught off-guard.

AVOID Blue Circle Parking! Dreadful experience with this company. We left our car with Blue Circle at Luton airport, for a long weekend in Prague. Greeting was friendly but no details were taken upon checking in. And at no point were we asked if anything valuable was in the car. Upon our return 3 days later My car had been ransacked. Boot emptied and glove compartment emptied. The valuable contents of my car had been stolen and they have accepted zero responsibility. Was also made aware that there is no CCTV footage where the car are stored, which further confirmed the lack of care. 0 empathy from all staff involved. Use another service.

1Every time I fly from Luton I swear it’s the last. If u r disabled drop off awful.Taxi’s can’t find disabled drop off. It’s still aLONG walk from parking to main building. Have had to wait 20 mins in cold dark rainy winter day for disabled pick up. In the end I gave up waiting and asked a kind passer by to help. If u go to toilet no room for trolley’s like there are at Heathrow and other airports. It is obvious that the customer comes last and that improvements are focused on what the customer can buy I.e profits for Luton. The trolley’s are so hard to use if you have back or shoulder problems.I HATE LUTON AIRPORT

Being my local airport I use it frequently. In recent times departures has improved a little, though there is now a new parking scam which I'll come to. Also I cannot forgive or forget what happened a few years ago at security. It was chaotic. Security staff do have a difficult job but they are rude and obnoxious. I was searched which i don't mind, but would like to be spoken to like another human being. Another security officer had a metal box which hit my ankle. When I flinched the securit officer who was searching me had a go at me. When I later complained about my treatment they threatened to sue me, giving me the name of the solicitor to contact! They acknowledged they 'brushed' against me, but never thought to apologise. More recently, a month ago I went to pick up my daughter from the airport availing of the free parking in the long term car park. I'd waited until my daughter touched down before entering the car park. At arrivals I waited and waited. My daughter texted to say they lost her suitcase and half the other passengers' cases. Eventually she appeared an hour after I got there with suitcase in hand. They had found the cases! When I left the car park it said there was a £4 charge. I rang the intercom. They said it was now only free for an hour. This added insult to injury. So today we took my daughter back, once again using the long term parking. The driver pulled into the car hire place, probably to use the toilet facilities. Of course he's entitled to use these, but we realised our time was ebbing away. Once my daughter checked in and we returned, we literally got out with a few seconds to spare, before going into the second hour. The potential 15 minute journey each way and gap between buses makes the free period a joke if not misleading. At Heathrow you can still park free for 2 hours with about the same journey time for buses. At Stansted the mid term parking is free for an hour, but it's much closer to the terminal and if you do run into the second hour the charge is only £2. This is not unreasonable. They are apparently considering upping the 2nd Hour at Luton to £5. Luton is my local airport, but there isn't much to like about it apart from its proximity. They are making a few cosmetic changes, but behind the scenes many things are the same including the departure gates and immigration for arrivals which seems like a free for all. The 'disappearance' of the luggage on my daughter's flight for at least 30 minutes doesn't fill me with confidence. I can't say it is the worst airport, but it's not good.

So I go to pick someone up at the airport the pick up/ drop off is I the mid term parking but due to delays inside the airport the person I picked up took a while to get out and so I got SLAPPED with a parking charge for 1hr 30 minutes that was nearly as much as the person I was picking up paid for the flight out and back into the country. It’s absolutely ridiculous

Luton Airport, Airparks Drop and Go, Grove Road, Slip End LU1 4BZ. From my car is stolen property (parcing workers), when I told them, they did not solve my problem, communicated with me disrespectful and degrading. Don't forget - your car's interior case they will be checked, and stole. They refuse to solve the problem. THIEVES THIEVES THIEVES THIEVES THIEVES

Prepaid for parking in midterm. Because of an emergency had to stay at my destination two days longer than expected. Tried to change booking on line but could not because of the "nature of the booking". Tried the helpline but does not work at weekends! Pathetic. Used the email address to ask what the best course was so I didn't have to pay the standard daily rate so £ 32. Never even received a reply.) Rang the number on the Monday morning and after the third was basically told pat the daily rate. They would not know good customer service if it hit them in the face, they are just interested in extracting as much money as possible from people. If I could fly from another airport I would never set foot in this disgraceful place again.

Luton used to be my favourite London airport. Not as nasty as Thiefrow; not as far away as Gatwick. No longer. All is being changed – for the worse. Coming by car, the signposting is dreadful. At at least three points I had to stop my car, because it was unclear where I should go to leave it at Valet Parking. Nobody at the 'Passenger Help' kiosk, of course. So I had to wait until a service engineer happened by to fix one of the barrier mechanisms, and he told me where I needed to go. I cannot comment on the queues for Security on Departure, as I'd paid for Priority Security, so didn't have to wait too long. Bur, once through, you are confronted by - literally - a maze of airport concession shops with a serpentine path between them, meandering in an almost complete circle [and with no short cut]. So bad, that they had had to put up a small sign to explain the the actual passenger path to the departure gates was - half-hidden - between one of these shops and its neighbour. Then at least a quarter mile of corridors and passages, to get to Gate 1. Returning was just as bad. No signage at all to indicate that the ONLY way to the multi-story car park was to take the elevated bridge. At ground level, signs to "Pick-up" lead you past the multi-story to a wasteland of fenced-off construction sites. And once you finally get out of the airport, you find four lanes of traffic [Airport Terminal, Airport Service Area, Local traffic, Luton Town Centre] all merging into one. The resulting jams have to be seen to be believed. For a so-called "International Airport" it is a DISGRACE

Parking signs are poor, I ended up in drop off instead of the multistorey lane and had to pay £3 to get out. Lee paid for a multi storey space months in advance. The car park was completely full there were no spaces, drove round for an hour trying to find somewhere to park and eventually an attendant told me to park in a disabled space. Will not use again.

I just don't know where to start. C H A O S. That word defines it. It's so crowded there's no room for people at peak times. No room to seat, not enough shops or cafes. It gets overwhelming. Just so you know, I think Stansted is a great airport compared to this one.

Really bad. Prepaid for a week in the long stay. £61 so fair enough. But arrived at the car park and it was a shambles. The barrier let us in saying there were plenty of spaces but the car park was actually full. We drove round and round as did everyone else before others were just abandoning their cars anywhere. In the end, we had to ring the site office and get permission to park in disabled as otherwise we would have missed our flight. Avoid.

So much is bad at this airport it's hard to know where to start. It's rated the worst airport in the country and works hard to keep the record. At least my plane was on time. The problem is the airport not the airlines.

After I read the reviews I think everybody is a bunch of liars. Today I took a friend to luton parked in short stays, surprise 😲 1.28 minutes 28pounds. The guy in front of me paid 3 hours 68pounds. Just to pass the gate drop off 3 quid. You are been ripped off or get mugged in this rubbish airport that looks a warehouse. Avoid. Love to meet people who say very cheap. Even Heathrow is 11 hour and only first hour. Feel robbed.... AVOID.... Don't travel from Luton

A lot of work has been done at Luton Airport, including the parking, and all is has achieved is to make a poor airport even worse. Drop off is hugely overpriced, very badly designed and the signage unclear (other than the charges you will incur, which is made abundantly clear). Very stressful experience and I wouldn't use this airport again unless truly desperate. Thanks to poor signage, I exited by the wrong barriers, entering the short term car park by accident and had to pay £7 instead of £3. I contacted customer services about this but they were entirely unhelpful, refused to consider a refund for the difference and dismissed my comements about service improvements. They seem to think the service is grand, clearly they don't care much for customers' feedback!
