“Bought Bosch HDS pro power washer, used it twice for a total of two hours , when I noticed oil coming out of the machine at the bottom, so switched it of immediately, took it back the following Saturday, where they said could not contact bosch as it was the week end, the Monday I called to ask the outcome, they told me Bosch wanted to inspect it and had sent it back to them, now into three weeks down the road, called again,all I can tell you is it's still with Bosch, I wanted a refund but the machine was just over a month from purchase date, still pursuing this tomorrow Friday 22nd September, yes another long time customer lost, They implied in the conversation that I have bought this from Bosch and there is not a lot of involvement or liability from machine mart ! Wake up Machine Mart look At the REVIEWS they are terrible you are hemeridging customers mostly loyal long term, I'm one of them !”

“Purchased a Brand new machine 5 months ago. It's broken down 3 times since. Customer service has been somewhat non-existent and when they do respond, solutions offered have been completely un-reasonable. Completely baffled as to how it's even come to this....0**********”

“Their selection of products is great - huge choice, and well-presented that one can see in advance (as opposed to the catalogue / Argos / Screwfix / Toolstation -style of shopping) - here's an actual store with goods displayed on shelves that can be browsed to see exactly what's what and what's best for the job. Staff are incredibly well-informed & helpful when (/if) they're needed - there if you need them, but not pushy / in your face if you don't. Their levels of customer service and product knowledge is well above standard, and the products are varied for whether you are an infrequent / DIY user, or a day-to-day high intensity professional. Everything's very good quality, and represents excellent value for money for the particular type, ie. amateur / professional buyer. It's my absolute and number one 'go-to' shop of choice for all my tools, definitely!”

“I ordered a 3-foot long breaker bar with a 1/2" drive to undo an extremely tight, Locktite-secured pivot stub on a classic motorcycle. This extremely robust and nicely finished item arrived the next day - and the job was done with no fuss. Brilliant service from these chaps, as always. D Lyons, Kingston, Surrey”

“Bought a wood burner. Good product but expensive delivery charge and the driver only drops a heavy pallet at the pavement edge, so if you don't have any help to carry a large item you're pretty stuffed.”

“We bought a Clarke 720 Generator advertised in the machine mart book and on the box as a Quiet Generator ideal for camping. THIS GENERATOR IS NOT QUIET! Also it's advertised as 65 DB but it's actually 95db...Apparently it's 65 DB from 7 metres away ! Who has their Generator 7 metres away from their motor home?? Machine Mart refused a refund and said if we wanted a credit note the generator had to be sent away for a check and this would take 2 weeks. I've spent a lot of money in their store but will think twice about going there again!”

“Went into the shop to buy an oil pan was asked for my address name and post code ,when i questioned why i was made out to have an attitude by the manager because i asked this question,ended up going else were.if this is the attidude that machine mart staff have to customers who ask a simple question i would note an that there needs to be an overall training on customer service.the shop i refer to is the one on LONDON RD CARLISLE”

“such a shame they used to stock stuff but Now its all 7 days delivey. or like a laser torx bit i wanted for collection 7-10 days. How much longer are they going to last running like this when you can order online and get it next day from most places.”
