I will be reporting your Virginia Commons center location to the better business bureau. It has been the worst experience with lack of customer caring and taking my money. This location has closed reopens with different management several times. Did not honor commitments. In addition to being closed on many occatioms with no notice. Staff that works at reception have been ignorant not caring and not knowledgeable. I left message in person and on phone and have never received a call back.

Abby the manager is an angry dictator who listens to no one. Very accusatory and misstrusting. If you're a healthy man that prefers a female therapist, good luck. You're not to be trusted because you're most likely a sexual predator. What else could it be? Very poor manager, made worse by stubbornness and inflexibility. I wish I had a recording of my last visit!, I take legal action.

Last Christmas, my friend spent $100 for me at Message Envy because they said they added an additional $20 gift card. So, when I came in for the massage service, they said that there wer totally $120 in my account. So, the 1st section cost me $60. They recommended coming in 6 month for the 2nd session at the same price ($60). But when I came back for the 2nd message, they said $20 in my account was expired. So, only $40 left. Meanwhile, they also said the hour rate increase from $60 to $85. I asked them if the $20 gift card had an expiration date why not let me use that first. I was not happy with their dishonesty, asked for returning the remaining money back, but they said you have to talk to the manager. I called the Sherwood Manager several times, finally reached her. She talked with a very cold tone by saying she cannot do anything since my friend spent money in Beaverton, a city in the same Portland metropolitan area. I had to call the owner and left a message. But the owner has never called me back. So, don't spend money there. Especially, during the holiday season, they tried to let you spend more money to get so-called gift card. But they play tricks. Vey unprofessional and dishonest business.

Liz the manager was rude and unprofessional. She have no customer service skills and no manners. Very disappointed happened@ Aventura location. Manager LIZ very rude and unprofessional in manner of talking. My wife made appointment for my son to come this Thursday. Liz called om Wednesday saying she going to charge my card bc my son missed his session. My wife told her probably it was misunderstand since my wife called the school and made aware a school regarding early release on Thursday. Liz was trying to make my wife wrong and was talking very rude and unprofessional for manager. LIZ was talking over my wife all the time and trying to proof us wrong that we forgot about appointment . My wife and my son visiting this place for almost a year and they never missed any appointment without letting them know in advance. They did not even tried to compensate for this visit. As well her crew@ receptionist area is very unprofessional, constantly they make mistakes with therapist. They book you with one therapist and when you come you see somebody else. I dont understand why they have camera in recording if they never review any issue and they never solve any issue. The only reason my wife and my son staying there bc they love Hector. Hector is amazing.

Horrific customer service, Tricia, massage therapist at Vernon Hills location was incredibly rude and inept with her skills. When I asked to speak with the manager of the location she would not speak with me and still charged me full price. DO NOT UTILIZE THIS MASSAGE THERAPIST!!!

Been a member for over 10 years and the last 2 years have been painful. No appointments until next year. Very difficult to communicate with and when you can get an appointment is was 3 months out. Made an appointment for several months out on the day before my appointment they canceled it because of company error. they are now expiring some of my credits because I didn't use their other services such as stretch or facials. Well I did try to schedule facials but no esthetician was available now they are not honoring my credits. When I tried to work it out they refused then hung up on me. What am I supposed to do? Worst experience ever.

BUYER BEWARE! If you sign up for their membership, they can change your monthly charges without your approval. Also, since they were closed during COVID, my sessions built-up. They offer a "freeze-plus" option that will allow you to use your session as long as you are willing to pay $10/month (for something that you've already paid for). You either have to pay for the freeze-plus or go back to your regular monthly fee if you want to use your sessions. Then after you've been on 'freeze-plus' for 6 months, they will automatically start charging you the full monthly membership fee and will not refund your money if you call and tell them that you didn't want to go back on full-membership. I believe that this is an illegal action, since they closed their doors during COVID and you didn't have an option to use your sessions. I highly advice not joining any Massage Envy.

I was a new client to massage envy and i had high exceptions. I requested a full body massage which i got the room was wonderful heated table music and very relaxing. I got a young man he had to be new as well. He was so soft and delicate like my 12yr old son. I was very disappointing, i didnt say anything because i thought it was maybe just a warm up at first then they would get into the deep tissue. I was i wanted a medium to hard touch. My body was aching so bad i knew he was going to get all the knots out. I didnt get any relief it couldnt get relaxed like when you normally get a massage you feel good they hit all your pressure points especially if they feel how tensed you are. I normally go to this place off 23rd $40 an hours and its amazing but unfountlly due to covid19 they shut down. I really dont paying more money if its worth it. I never in life will return unlesss another person can show me something different. I still tiped the guy i kept telling him harder and even though i am small he would not hurt me. Im really upset i finally treated myself and didnt get what i needed or wanted. Prove me wrong i will refer lots of people if not your on my bad list

Only do one-offs, DON’T BECOME A MEMBER or they’ll cheat you I used to use Massage Envy quite frequently, and found it to be a good deal (not as good as much more expensive spas, but actually affordable, and not sleazy like cheaper spas). Unfortunately they’ve begun a practice of fraudulently billing customers. The way they run their scam is that they call you to schedule an appointment, and then if you don’t answer they “schedule” you one anyway - but they don’t say that on the messages they leave, so you as the customer have no way of knowing that they “scheduled” you. Then when you “miss” your “appointment” they call to tell you that you’ll have to pay for it. Since Massage Envy works primarily on a subscription basis in practice this just means that they’ll be able to burn down your banked massages without having to actually deliver them, potentially without even having the staff on hand to do them at all (though of course that’s merely a conclusion, since I’m not in their office). If you then cancel your membership because you don’t want to do business with a company that uses fraud as the basis of their business model and send that communication to their customer service contact online (which promises a reply within 48 hours, try it with the link below) they won’t honor the cancellation and will continue to bill you. Below you’ll find my most recent communication to them (which I expect to be ignored again despite their 48 hour promise) so you can get a feel for how this location runs the scam, along with a transcript of the voice messages they left. I have no desire to talk to persistent fraudsters who falsely claim to have delivered services they never did, or who claim that an appointment was missed that they scheduled on their own without talking to the customer so they could pay their numbers. 2/23 voicemail: Hi this message is for Rob to see ____ calling from Glendale Massage Envy I see that you have an appointment tomorrow for 10:30 AM unfortunately Nicole is not gonna be able to be in tomorrow um to __ something that came up so um we were wondering if you wanted to reschedule to either another therapist that same day or if you wanted to just um stay with ___ and just move to another day so whatever works for you just give us a call back at 623-931-3689 thank you so much bye. With no return call, or appointment scheduled you then left this message, 2/24: Hi Rob this is Cheryl I’m calling for Massage Envy in Glendale I was just calling to make sure everything was OK ‘cause you did have an appointment today at 9am with Rosa could just give us a call back and let us know if you’re coming in or not just keep in mind I will be back _____ um no call no show will result in 100% charge to go ahead and give us a call back thank you and have a great day. So according to Massage Envy’s own records you fraudulently and willfully “scheduled” an appointment on Monday knowing that no such schedule had ever been sent to me, let alone actually received or agreed to. Massage Envy then compounded those fraudulent actions by charging my credit card after receiving a message from me explicitly revoking any such authorization and cancelling my membership, for the exact reasons above. Since you chose to ignore the message I sent to you the evening of 2/24 via the channel Massage Envy promotes on its website as explicitly for this purpose (https://www.inmoment.com/websurvey/2/execute#!/1) I will necessarily also be posting this to many other sites so that potential customers can see how your location actively plans to use your “customers” as a free cash resource rather than payment in exchange for services. It is unfortunate that the Glendale Massage Envy is no longer a legitimate business, as it had been effective in the past.

I had very bad experience, they cancelled our two appointment on 01/22/2019, we are in our way to get the service, the manager Jasmine mentioned had employee didn’t show up to work, which has nothing to do with us, I stopped by and request how can I get our $200.00 back to our account, just because they didn’t provide the service, she explained her company policy gift card not refundable, I asked her at least twice with her ability if she can escalate the situation to the corporate office to get our money back, her response was,If don’t understand her to leave the store otherwise, she will reach out to the police, Once again very polite way I asked her if anything she can do to assist me With their incovenince, she mentioned things are escalated to police I can not talk to her. I never had this unusual situation
