“My horse clippers (just out of guarantee) stopped working and although I was disappointed that there was a fault, the Masterclip repair and return service (although expensive) was efficient and fast.”

“Have purchased a second hand one for 69.99 but find the button to move up and down keeps stopping and sliding down apart from that it’s great”

“Brilliant machine! No cords to worry about, doesn’t get hot and it’s not too heavy in your hand. The battery could last a bit longer but perhaps a bigger battery could make it heavier and if I was a bit quicker, a battery would do more ewes. It would also be handy if the battery had a charge dial to see how it’s doing.”

“I ordered my clippers, and received them very quickly. However, two of the blades I had ordered were missing. I rang them and they immediately sent out the missing blades, and lots of apologies, and I receive them in the next day. I am so far enjoying the use of my new clippers with my five dogs, who all had their summer clip this last weekend. I watched the YouTube video with the Lhasa, to get an idea of the best way to use the skip blade, as I have never used to skip blade before. I have realised I need a different kind of blade for my Springer Spaniel, although the cut was still very good . All my guys look great with their new haircuts and it was very quick to do each dog. I got nearly 2 dogs done on one charge, so having the second battery was a blessing. They also charged up very quickly.”

“The purchase was straightforward and the parcel was received in good condition. The customer service of this company is exceptional. The clippers I purchased were not suitable for my dog, I have now returned the clippers and received an instant refund. I could not recommend them highly enough. Thank you Masterclip”

“Brilliant product. Only let down was the poor communication for delivery. It was ordered and then 4 days later it was delivered. I wasn’t updated at all in between. Luckily I was home.”

“It did the work required on a shaggy Airdale. As normal I had to keep cooling the blades with oil and a shallow saucer of water ( I can not afford a second set of blades) I only have one thing constructive to say. The vibrations of the machine is ok. It's just more than I expected. Everything is great only the vibration level drops it from 5 stars.”

“I had a problem with my clippers after six months, and when I got in touch the customer service was excellent. The responses to emails were efficient and polite, they had good advice and the instructions for what to do next were simple and easy to follow. The clippers were fixed and returned under warranty without any hassle. The only reason for a star less is that you have to pay for having your clippers mailed back to you, for almost £10, which seems a little unfair when you're getting something fixed under warranty and it isn't a fault of your own that it needs sending in for repair. But overall I think the company is very good.”

“Complete newbie to dog grooming but as a few friends had tried and, in an effort to save on expensive grooms, I joined them. The clippers cost roughly the price of two grooms for me and as I clipper my husbands hair I thought I may be ok. I have a miniature schnauzer and although they do a specific set for them the video is for a different breed. I found a selection of good instructional videos on line but the clipper sizes were different. I worked my way down to find the right ones for what I wanted. Given they sell breed specific sets I would have appreciated a little guidance from the company themselves.Hence four stars. I think this would encourage other dog owners looking to save a fortune on grooms but who have no experience. The clippers themselves are easy to use and cut well without snagging. Could have saved myself a fortune if I had got them years ago!!!”

“Friendly good service and knowledge of the things they sell. Firstly I’m a beginner in shearing and only have 20 ewes to shear and 2 very big rams before I have used hand shears so thought I’d treat myself to these . The clippers work well and when I get it right the wool comes away lovely . The sheep aren’t bothered by the noise they make . These clippers make the job a bit easier”
