“I bought the HD Roamer cordless clippers and Showmate trimmer kit. Delivery was quick. The clippers are relatively noisy so I wouldn't recommend them if your horse or pony is intolerant of the clippers. I clipped my Friesian in march with them. I didn't have the means to bathe him first and he was quite greasy & scurfy. The clippers went through with absolutely no problem. He had a few "tramlines" but not through any fault of the clippers. It took me an hour to do a full body clip leaving on face and legs. I haven't clipped in 8 years so I'm very happy with the time it took and how good the finish was considering he wasn't 100% clean. The clippers are light enough that my hypermobile self didn't have any discomfort in my hands or wrists during or after use. I did turn them off and oil them every 10 minutes as advised because they got quite warm due to how thick and dirty my horses coat was. I've yet to use the trimmers although my husband did use them to trim his beard last night and was very impressed! ��”

“Quick delivery, great to see all batteries arriving fully charged so i could just get going. Cordless really worked for my horse, whilst not the quietest clippers, their noise was at lower range, and i found my nervous horse got used to them very quickly, within a few minutes he was happy to be clipped near the top of his neck, (and everywhere else!). Very happy with my purchase.”

“Easy to use. Great on a Hairy Cob. Could do with a strap or at least somewhere to attach a strap to put around your wrist to prevent them from being able to be accidentally dropped.”
