“I purchased the Masterclip cordless clippers so I could groom my 2 cocker spaniels at home. They are brilliant. Would definitely recommend. First time I’ve ever groomed my dogs and they look good. Worth buying quality clippers to make life easier for yourself and your dogs”

“I unfortunately did not have a good experience. Ordered a set of blades which on first clip didnt clip well, I had 3 booked so had to be done. First horse I bathed myself ao I know was clean, 2nd is a regular who is always sparkle and 3rd had been bathed a week prior. I contacted customer service and the advice I was given was to bath the horses and get them sharpened (and was offered a £5 off voucher to send them for sharpening. Unfortunately found this quite disappointing I clip regularly through the year and never had this happen”

Thank you for your review Wendy. We’re glad you find the clippers really good, and we’re sorry the blades are getting hot quickly. The friction of the metal blades running together at speed does produce some heat and we recommend oiling the blades with clipper oil or the Andis 5 in 1 coolant spray every 3 to 4 minutes whilst you are clipping which should help to alleviate this. “I purchased the Hunter corded clippers. Delighted with them. Very easy to use, tensioning them is so easy it takes all the guesswork out of it which I hated with my old clippers. Wish I had bought them years ago! The only reason I haven't given them 5 stars is that compared to my old clippers (so old they have a sticker saying made in West Germany on them) these ones don't seem quite as finely finished, but that is being pernickity of me really.”
