“Very quickly and professional drivers/pick-up crew. The only thing I wish is they could drive up my driveway versus having to walk down a large hill to bring my couch to the road.”

“I never got a call or text message that someone was on the way. Two men showed up unannounced at the house in a pick up truck. They didn't have uniforms or company ID. When I asked them about recycling the mattress they just looked at me and said they don't recycle them. They get paid $50 to pick it up and dispose of it. You got paid $95 for a mattress pick up and what I thought was recycling. It looks like you got paid $45 to call a man with a pick up truck and I got had. Word of mouth is good advertising.”

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience, David. We sincerely apologize for any and all inconvenience created for you during your scheduled pickup. We do our best to provide eco-friendly removal for all of our customers. Although recycling is an option, we utilize other eco-friendly means too, such as donation and repurposing the material. On occasion, other options are not available and we do have to dispose of the item in a less ideal way. This is only used as a last resort when all other options have been exhausted. I would like to let you know that our operations team is looking into this and will be contacting you directly to discuss this further. “Website was slightly misleading on pricing (advertising one price, with fine print saying pricing could vary by location - our quote came back $40 higher than advertised price). Still, staff responded promptly to email requests for clarification. Pickup team was on time, careful, courteous and fast.”

“Though my mattresses redirected to a different pick-up company, I'm glad I chose to go this route then have to lug two king size mattresses up the stairs myself. The gentleman (Alfonso) that picked up my disposal was very kind, very professional and courteous. I hope that everyone has a great experience like I did.”

“The website is intuitive and easy to use and the price is fair. However, the driver was late and didn’t call to let me know and I had to call dispatch. Once they arrived they completed the job in less than five minutes.”

“I wasted $100 due to the company's false advertising. The video strongly indicates that my mattress would be recycled. The driver who picked up said that has not happened in the Kansas City area in the year and a half he has worked with Load Up. Load Up, the parent company, is a junk removal company. They say they try to recycle. The fact that this can't be done in my area is just tough luck for me. My city waste disposal department will take a mattress to the landfill for free. This company would be fine for junk removal but don't expect recycling.”

We sincerely apologize for any and all inconvenience to you, Joe. We do our best to provide an eco-friendly option for disposal to our customers, especially in areas where recycling is not an option. We utilize many means to accomplish this. For example, donation is also a way that we can help the environment and keep items out of the landfill. Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. It is not possible for us to maintain our level of service without this information from our customers. I would like to let you know that we have spoken with the driver manager in the area to ensure that this sort of thing can be avoided in the future and that every effort is being made to help our environment.
