“Do not go near this company, they are criminal scammers deliver milk you didn't ask for, left milk on the doorstep which I didn't ask for which btw went down the sink because it was off and then try and threaten with letters and texts, for £3......see pic below of how low they stoop. Who knew a dairy could get so desperate, always recruiting too tells you something.”

“***beware of Mcqueens dairies*** not a reputable company I have been chasing them for money they took in advance and have spoken to many of their “customer service” people who assure me of a refund -still nothing.Their service is appalling and product is inferior #mcqueensdairies”

“Unhappy with the customer service? Try working with the management in East Kilbride. That depot is run like something out of a carry on movie. Rab the manager changes the rules most nights and his form of management is more akin to bullying. Telling drivers to stay out until 7am in all weathers just because Rab and his assistant were caught leaving early by their manager. No man management skills at all. If a driver voices an issue he is threatened with a termination of contract from Rab and backed by his assistant. Paid until 07.30 hrs, but are told to work over that time with no extra payment. The management have no respect for their hard working drivers who are out in all weathers. It is all about how much their bonuses are worth. Someone in authority should be looking into how this company operate. Health and safety during covid was nothing short of disgusting. Looking for a job don't look here. Don't just take my word for it, ask your delivery driver.”

“A disgrace of a company. Told by their salesman that I would get a 'free trial' for a week then someone would ring to see if I wanted to continue. Then due to personal circumstances to do with the death of my child I wasn't at home and hadn't spoken to anyone yet they continued to deliver milk that I wasn't even at home to drink. I rang up to cancel and then they tried to bill me for it. I rang back and explained again, they billed me again. I rang back again, they billed me again explaining there are no 'free trials'. Queue more texts and emails, asking me to a pay a bill I'd never agreed to for milk I never drunk. I ring back again. We'll see what happens now. But no apology or acknowledgement of this extremely difficult time for me and my family. I genuinely can't believe the lack of soul they have and the stress they have caused. All backed up by dodgy lying sales people. DO NOT USE.”

“AVOID THESE SCAMMERS rude customer service hangs up the phone when he tried demanding me to hand over bank details for some milk how embarrassing, sounded like he was going to start crying when I said no, any milk gets dropped off they can take back with them, not giving these clowns any money glad I didn’t hand over any details AVOID!”

“Do not deal with this company. Lies Lies Lies. On the doorstep I was handed a card and told that they were a local delivery company, delivering local milk to local people. I could have a free trial and cancel at any time. OK, great I thought, quite happy to help support local farmers. However it turns out the milk does not come specifically from local farmers but can be from anywhere in the UK. The first pint of milk was dropped off on a warm night at 23:30h so would have sat on the doorstep overnight had the ring doorbell alert not woken us up! Next day 2 phone calls from them telling me I had to set up a direct debit. Both of which I told I was aware and would do that online. The next day another phone call from another telemarketer demanding that I set up a direct debit over the phone immediately. I was in a meeting with customers and had to leave the meeting to deal with this cretin. I explained that I was in a meeting and he just continued. So I put the phone down and put my phone on silent. This made up my mind to cancel and what a battle that was! Also turns out the free trial was also B/S as we were told that we would have to pay for the pint of milk that was dropped off. I would avoid this company they are not what they appear to be. I want to support local farmers not people profiting on the back of lies and deception.”

“As with a lot of reviewers, I was told there was a free trial and if you like the product then you can sign up for a delivery service. I had 4 pints delivered on a boiling hot Sunday which lay outside the door. I then got more milk delivered a couple of days later, which won't be used. I tried to phone the 0800 number on google which didn't work, I then tried the 0330 number on the McQueens website, and have currently made 10 calls to a number which is continually engaged. Getting text messages saying to set up direct debit. No thank you, mr conman..”

“Terrible and dishonest! cold called and introduced himself . i explained my wife is not in so I don't know if we are interested or not. cheeky sod said "ok no problem, give me your number and i call you this afternoon to check if you are want to sign on" and guess what! next day i received a text with my account details and asking me to set up a standing order. I took me 1 hour on the phone to cancel them.”

“Avoid this company at all costs. Following a cold call at the door, I agreed to trial 1 litre of milk to be delivered on a Thursday morning. 1 day later I had 2 texts and 2 phone calls asking me to set up a direct debit. The milk was eventually delivered late, on a hot Sunday afternoon and lay outside my door for hours as I was working. I called to cancel any futher deliveries and actually pay for the milk delivered but was told it would be written off. I agreed to another 'free' trial which was then followed by another bunch of phone calls and texts asking me to set up a DD. The milk was delivered and already going off. I eventually phoned back again to cancel and had to sit in a call queue. They tried to go round in circles with me again but I refused to play along this time. I should have checked out the the reviews this company have on-line before accepting the 'free' trial bottle of milk. There are tons of bad experiences similiar to mines and they're not hard to find. They are just a total pressure sales company that are giving the industry a bad name.”

“Very polite gentlemen came to my door asking if I wanted to sign up for 1 week free order to trial the milk and if I was happy with the service I could set up a DD and regular order. Within a week I was happy multiple texts and calls a day asking to set up payment and make payment for more order request. I rang and spoke to a lady who did not believe me and said I must pay. I refused, continued to receive payment reminders, called 2 weeks later and the gentleman wiped the amount and explained it should have been done earlier. Before I could wish him a nice day he cut the phone off, which I thought, this mustn't be the first time. To then come online and find other reviews of the same experience. On their website it states "Please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these Terms." I did not sign or was read and agreed to any T&C's. Reading the response below from McQueens, trust me, there was NO CONFUSION, the man at my door, as many others I assume, offered 1 week free trial. I am sad this is my experience with McQueens and just think they got it wrong this one time.”

“Canvasser lied saying it's free for 1 week, after the week they phoned and asked if I wanted to continue I said no but they continued to send milk and bill me for it then called me a liar when I phoned them up. Great company ethics 😂”

“Same as the others really. Cold caller at the door offering a “free trial” of “local” milk & if we liked the service, we could continue. Before I’d even had chance to either try the milk or look up prices online, I was constantly telephoned around 3 times before midday asking for my DD details to set up an account. I told the rude lady (when I could get a word in!) that I didn’t want to go ahead with their service, to which she replied I would have to call a number to cancel. I explained there wasn’t anything to cancel, as I hadn’t got, or intended to have an account with them. Total pressure sales company that guilt trip you into setting up a direct debit for local milk which is from 100’s of miles away. I feel sorry for the elderly / vulnerable who will roll over for this type of scam. No doubt I’ll get the automated reply that says ‘we don’t offer free trials’ - to which I’ll reply that their door to door sales people DO say it’s a free trial and that the first delivery is free. Maybe train your salespeople if that’s the case.”

“Worst ever experience, never again opening my door to door to door sellers because of my experience. I never made an order, got 2 orders, they try to charge me for 6 orders..But I NEVER made an order in the first place... never 👎🏼 👎🏼👎🏼”

“They left milk on my door step, I did not order, want or ask for it. Would never order green top milk anyway, and we are VEGAN, so dnot use milk. She insisted that I had set up the service, and did I want to continue receiving the milk. I said NO. She said she was going to cancel my account, (which I did not set up), so it’s all a bit strange!! I will stick to my hazalnut milk thanks. She can have her milk back, as I won’t be using it. Totally a sham. 99p for a pint in a glass bottle! Seriously bad business.”

“Delivering at 20 past midnight to a neighbor on a private road and waking up my household is acceptable. They also seem to represent themselves as local, the last time I looked Kettering is hundreds of miles from Glasgow. I am looking at legal steps to stop them but will take direct action if they do the same again”
