“Another day another let down by this service. 2 cancelled services over half an hour wait in the cold. Bus rammed when one does appar. Used to be good - now it's truly awful. Avoid.”
“Bus drivers are rude and incompetent, if the bus is late then it is your fault and not mine. You should not get offended about me asking why you are late, i understand some of the reason you are late is that there are problems with the roads and it is down to sussex highways but it is your job not mine to drive the bus and get there on time.
Don't like it get another job instead of lashing out at your loyal customers.
Allow plenty of time if you catch these buses to get anywhere, can be 10-30 minutes late far too often. if not worse.”
“The M1 service started off impressively but has gradually, over the last few months become an appalling service. Almost every day there are 'ghost' buses that count down on the timetable then fail to appear (4 in a row on one occasion), some buses stop short on the route. As buses fail to appear the queue gets longer and buses get packed - people standing for the majority of the journey. As a non-driver I relied on this service but am now searching for an alternative. I don't blame the drivers, but this service is an embarrassment now. Dreadful.”
“In what world is it alright to cancel every other bus, sometimes leaving you to wait in the cold for an hour, just to be sardine packed onto a bus with rude drivers that don’t understand there is such thing as too many people? “With that service happen to me everytime almost, cancel buses, waiting time for number 10 bus it's a joke... 20 bus x2 pass on my bus stop and number 10 is still not coming.. And its weekend... How come on weekend nr20 is 2x faster than nr 10? Worst time ever”
“In currently at killinwood vale and I was planning on getting the 3:59 bus.
The bus arrived at killinwood vale at 3:55 and left on that same minute.
Therefore I now have to wait 44 minutes for the next one.”
“The bus driver was very rude to me to start with,I don't like saying everything is down to racism cos it sounds like a excuse but this driver stopped for every non-coloured person but me(me being the only coloured person on the whole bus) so he ended up stopping for a non-coloured person on the bus and I ended up having to walk all the way back as he passed my stop by far.The stopping sign and ping sound all went off.”
“Buses never turn up when they are supposed to. One minute they show on the app then vanish. Constantly making me late for work. Customer services don’t care just blame covid or staff shortages. How come 4 times as many buses go by in the opposite direction. Poor management and planning. Buses are dirty”
“When I get the bus in the morning for work it would say due, then it comes of the screen . I genuinely don’t under Stand why but there should be a sign or a warning. I’ve been late multiple times because of this and it’s not nice .”
“Hi I’m 16 and I was waiting for the bus to get to my part time job because I need to provide for my family and they drove straight past me because they were going too fast on the dual carriageway and the driver just looked at me with my arm out and continued driving anyway. “Your bus drivers are incredibly rude. I was waiting at the bus stop and 2 of them stopped and drove past me knowing I was there. If you are wanting to work with the public don’t be so rude to them and smile for once and actually let us on when there is so many seats. Absolutely appalling.”
“The drivers are highly rude when talking with customers, and you’re very unlikely to get a refund after being scammed. They also like to drive off even when you’re at the stop, which I’ve had repeatedly happen on the 20 bus.”
“The website is the worst I’ve ever encountered. I can never log on as it doesn’t recognise the password. This being a password that is saved on my iPad so not an error typing it in. The link to reset the password never works. I tried in dozens of times and have never received and reset password link to my email. Luckily I work in Crawley so can top up in the Metrobus shop.”
“Misinformed i even told the bus driver my destination but she yelled and laughed and i end up getting iff the bus and my phone died and i had no way to order a uber and there were no taxiss around i had to walk with heavy bags and in the cold for two hours and finally had to repay to take a other bus and arrived at 11pm instead of 6pm all because a bus driver needed to feel superior instead of helping us finding the right stop”
