I can honestly say an absolute waste of time ordering anything from them. The last 3 orders I've purchased has said it is progressing through their warehouse, only to receive an email a couple of days later saying "sorry it's out of stock" absolute time wasters.

Ordered 2 chairs in July, only 1 arrived. Still awaiting either a refund or second chair. Plenty of trite emails and automated responses but nothing else.

Ordered some shoes this morning. Just received an email to say I had cancelled and got a refund which I never did. Tried reply to email which bounced back as undeliverable. Tried to contact online and got auto assistant who said I didn’t have an account nor had an order! Tried phoning and got auto voice who did not understand my problem and just kept asking me to tell her what was wrong. Aaarrrrgggghhhh!

I would give zero if I could... ordered in August waited for 4 weeks then asked for an update from customer services.. they informed me they had lost the order, very apologetic and assured me that it would be sent asap. Two weeks later and its groundhog day called customer services got an automated email then a message from 'Vlad' telling me they hadn't got confirmation from the 'relevant department' this was three days ago ..... now been given refund and asked to order again... I did ... from Amazon and it arrived 24 hours later! Wanted to support a UK business but NEVER AGAIN... Avoid them like the plague!!!!!!!

I tried to place an order with Milletts On Saturday, the site timed out and did not take my payment, then millets sent me 4 duplicate emails with four orders and took four payments form my bank account, I have contacted customer service a total of none times with no success in canceling today they tried to deliver three of the orders telling the forth was being cancelled as they didn't have stock, not surprising as they had sent me all the stock, but they still charged me for four, this is some of the worst customer service I have ever come across, today they tell me they can't refund as I am in dispute over the payments with PayPal. I don't even have a paypal account, the never ring back and every time you go through the whole story again get a lot of we are very sorry lets see how we can help and then they done absolutely nothing, keep away they are shocking

I placed an order on Millets website for a christmas present, and as soon as I had done so I realised I had clicked the wrong size - an error I’m sure many people make. Straight away I went onto their website to try to rectify this but had no luck. I did find on their website that if you had just placed the order then it should be able to make cancellation within 2 hours of ordering. So I telephone ‘customer services’, spoke to a lady and the supervisor who refused to cancel. They also did not believe their website said you could cancel within 2 hours - so I guided the supervisor to the right place, and she still point blank refused to believe it - even though it was there in black and white. I know I could wait for it to show up and then return it - but that's not the point. It hasn't been picked, packed or dispatched yet so I should have the right to cancel? I would have happily changed the size if they would let me, but they wouldn't let me do that either.

Placed order in July and items never turned up - called and was advised the order was not processed and that they are looking into and once sorted will get order dispatched - after another chase I advised to cancel order and they advised will get refund - 2weeks later still no refund - chased again fault in system!! - chased again and again and finally been advised will NOW get refund in OCTOBER - was offered free delivery and 10%off next order - which i declined a) would not want to order form them again b) 10%!!! not enough of a saving with all the hassle caused should be a minimum of 20%. AVOID where possible

Bought a men’s packable jacket and it got delivered by DHL. I tracked the parcel and it said it’s been delivered and signed for by me,I was at work at the time it said that I signed for it. The parcel was left on my doorstep,my front door leads straight onto pavement so the parcel was left on pavement until my wife came home later. When I opened parcel from the brown paper bag it was put in I pulled out a grey t-shirt size small and bearing in mind I’m 6,2 and 15 stone..there was nothing else in the bag but this t-shirt. I phoned up to explain and I was emailed a missing parcel form(it’s not missing it hasn’t been sent)which I filled in,then was sent another email saying it will take up to 10 days for an investigation(ITS NOT MISSING IT JUST HAS’NT BEEN SENT)so after 10 days I phoned up again and fobbed off saying I need to go to a Millets shop and explain what happened. I didn’t have time to do that so phoned up again only to be told I need to go to a Hermes drop off point with the t-shirt and pay for it to be sent back in order to get a refund back from the jacket,which I refused to do as it’s not my fault and told him that I just want my jacket sent to me that I’ve paid for or a refund but he just fobbed me off just like before. So I’m going to have to get a refund back through PayPal as Millets are not interested in either sending me the jacket that I paid for or give me a refund.. AVOID!!

DO NOT BUY FROM MILLETS DO NOT BUY ONLINE Ordered a rain hiking jacket a couple of weeks back for a wild camping trip heading out today, Jacket was £129.00 recieved a head band on Monday, contacted customer support, they could not work out why I received this article and assured me that the jacket will be sent ASAP, it’s now Thursday the day before I set off, and now have an email telling me I have to print off a return form take it to a shop and return the wrongly sent item before they will resend my original order!!!! What great customer service. They still have my £129. So there okay. DO NOT USE

I am so disappointed with millets. On receiving a wrong item for a second time with no delivery note, the customer care I experienced was awful. Won't buy from them again!!!!! I feel my query is left unresolved.

Ordered a tent online on 10th August, and on the order confirmation email it said that deliveries might take longer than normal. Fine. I chased it today, and it turns out my order was cancelled due to a "stock availability issue". Obviously no attempt was made to actually inform me of this. We need a tent in two weeks' time and now we'll have to scramble to buy another one (not from Millets!!). Really really disappointing. AVOID!!

I've now been waiting more than two weeks for a delivery that is stated as a 3-5 day window with no communication to let me know there would be a delay, or any update regarding my order. The tracking on site doesn't work, and trying to get hold of anyone at Millets seems an impossible task. Avoid at all costs!

Disgusting service, I will never order from them again. I received my order after it had been delayed and delayed and then there was an item missing. No note with the order, no email, no text, nothing to say an item is missing. I emailed them. I received a response days later to say 'Thank you for requesting a refund' - I didn't, I asked when the item would be delivered. So I went back and asked when the item would be delivered, to which they responded 'You have received your order', so I went back, and they responded 'Sorry the refund is taking longer than expected, so I went back, and they responded 'Your refund will be with you shortly', so I replied and they said 'Thank you for contacting us, we are looking in to this' so I replied, and then they asked me to confirm my details for ID (a bit late now!), so I went back, and about 10 emails later I get a response to say the item I ordered is out of stock because the website doesn't update with stock levels so it allows people to order stock which is unavailable. Then they don't communicate that the item is out of stock. Awful service. So now I have waterproof trousers for my daughter and no coat. Not happy at all.

Appalling customer service. Purchased a hat, within 24 hours poppers broke. Took back to the store, none in stock so they said would order one via there internet. 7 days later, chased up as not received. Issues in the warehouse. Email later that day canceling order yet they have stock on their website

I placed an order in early July and unfortunately not everything arrived 2 weeks laters than promised . Over 2 months later and 13 emails I haven’t received any helpful response from Millets just automated responses. I will keep trying to get a refund but won’t be ordering again. I would think twice about being tempted by cheap goods that won’t be delivered

Ordered a so called stock item two weeks prior to going on holiday. Contacted customer service (if you can call it that) to request refund as item not arrived before holiday and so had to purchase elsewhere. Told they could not refund and I would have to accept the item an return it once received. Now in to twenty days, returned from holiday and still no item. Millets as I understand is a British company, and if it still is no wonder our retail industry has gone to the wall with service like this. I could have order from another on line retailer and got from CHINA quicker..........absolute joke of a company, steer clear.

My first confirmed order disappeared from their system leaving me waiting for a delivery that would never arrive. No explanation offered by Millets, but offered discount if I re-ordered the same items. The person speaking confirmed the items I was ordering were in stock so I re-ordered the same items. When this second order didn't arrive over a week later I called the customer service team again. I was told this would be investigated and was promised a call back within four days to confirm the status of the delivery. No call back was made and they have no record of this promise on their system. After it became clear that speaking to a more senior member of the customer service team would be a challenge I requested the order be cancelled and monies refunded. To my annoyance I was initially told that cancelling the order wasn't possible whilst it was being investigated. After insisting I speak with a more senior member of their customer services team I received a call back from the same person confirming they were now able to cancel the order and promised a refund. I was reassured I would still receive a call back from a senior member of the customer services team within the hour. To my surprise I did receive a call back from a manager. Unfortunately all that was offered were apologies and a small discount that no where near met my expectations. The local retail outlets are great, but this experience has put me off having anything further to do with Millets.

Ordered and paid for 2 pair of shorts with Brasher Online. Items delivered weeks later from Millets. Returned one pair (no enclosed return label so paid for return.) Contacted millets online as no refund appeared after 3 weeks, had automated reply. This has been going on now for weeks with no resolution. They had the returned goods (signed and tracked evidence) 7 weeks ago and nothing! Read the other reviews today- what a dreadful company! Wont be using them again but sadly have to deal with them for my refund! Lets see how long it takes! Grr!

Millets in Bath. The staff have no empathy for disabled customers nor do they know the law relating to exemptions for wearing face coverings. I tried to shop there today and the staff demanded I produce evidence of my exemption for not wearing a face mask. According to the law I do not need proof and they cannot ask for it. I walked out and will no longer use this branch of Millets ever again. I went to Cotswolds instead and made my purchase with no problems at all.

Avoid buying online from Millets , they will happily take money from you for items that are not in stock then send you a different item and then get you to pay a second time to post it back then they go into radio silence their customer service is a joke !!!! No one answers emails no one answers the phone and they just keep your money and item .....at least dick Turpin wore a mask !!!
