Ordered a so called stock item two weeks prior to going on holiday. Contacted customer service (if you can call it that) to request refund as item not arrived before holiday and so had to purchase elsewhere. Told they could not refund and I would have to accept the item an return it once received. Now in to twenty days, returned from holiday and still no item. Millets as I understand is a British company, and if it still is no wonder our retail industry has gone to the wall with service like this. I could have order from another on line retailer and got from CHINA quicker..........absolute joke of a company, steer clear.

My first confirmed order disappeared from their system leaving me waiting for a delivery that would never arrive. No explanation offered by Millets, but offered discount if I re-ordered the same items. The person speaking confirmed the items I was ordering were in stock so I re-ordered the same items. When this second order didn't arrive over a week later I called the customer service team again. I was told this would be investigated and was promised a call back within four days to confirm the status of the delivery. No call back was made and they have no record of this promise on their system. After it became clear that speaking to a more senior member of the customer service team would be a challenge I requested the order be cancelled and monies refunded. To my annoyance I was initially told that cancelling the order wasn't possible whilst it was being investigated. After insisting I speak with a more senior member of their customer services team I received a call back from the same person confirming they were now able to cancel the order and promised a refund. I was reassured I would still receive a call back from a senior member of the customer services team within the hour. To my surprise I did receive a call back from a manager. Unfortunately all that was offered were apologies and a small discount that no where near met my expectations. The local retail outlets are great, but this experience has put me off having anything further to do with Millets.

Ordered and paid for 2 pair of shorts with Brasher Online. Items delivered weeks later from Millets. Returned one pair (no enclosed return label so paid for return.) Contacted millets online as no refund appeared after 3 weeks, had automated reply. This has been going on now for weeks with no resolution. They had the returned goods (signed and tracked evidence) 7 weeks ago and nothing! Read the other reviews today- what a dreadful company! Wont be using them again but sadly have to deal with them for my refund! Lets see how long it takes! Grr!

Millets in Bath. The staff have no empathy for disabled customers nor do they know the law relating to exemptions for wearing face coverings. I tried to shop there today and the staff demanded I produce evidence of my exemption for not wearing a face mask. According to the law I do not need proof and they cannot ask for it. I walked out and will no longer use this branch of Millets ever again. I went to Cotswolds instead and made my purchase with no problems at all.

Avoid buying online from Millets , they will happily take money from you for items that are not in stock then send you a different item and then get you to pay a second time to post it back then they go into radio silence their customer service is a joke !!!! No one answers emails no one answers the phone and they just keep your money and item .....at least dick Turpin wore a mask !!!

after being promised a product for 2 weeks, they cancelled the order via email. No assistance or alternatives suggested. When you try and contact customer service, they send an automated message that your query appears to be resolved now. Non existent customer service!

Avoid!!!! Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with I ordered a jacket online with them they sent me a jacket 4 sizes smaller than I ordered I then tried for a month to contact them through email and phone ...eventually getting contact through social media only after putting down a poor review but after only a handful of messages back and forth they stopped answering ...basically they are happy to take your money for items that they claim are in stock when clearly they are not and then you receive wrong size or damaged items in their place !!!! And then have a battle to get your money back which you also have to pick up the cost of returning !!!

Item damaged. I have to pay to return I ordered a few items for home delivery. These arrived in a huge box which was ridiculous considering my purchases we small to medium in size. As a result of the gross packaging one of the items was completely smashed. I contacted Millets and attached some photos so they could clearly see my problem and kindly requested a replacement. I was advised that I needed to return the item and would get a refund. I explained that I cannot reuse the packaging as sent to me as it was grossly oversized and as such would need to buy packaging and pay postage to return and the cost of doing this is greater than the damaged product. I cannot see the sense in this. They have photos which clearly show the item is theirs, damaged beyond use and came in unsuitable packaging. Whilst I appreciate that there are standard protocols for returns, surely common sense should prevail in situations such as these. I simply want a replacement product and am not asking for anymore than I have paid for.

DO NOT BUY from this company. Waiting almost 2 months for item. Customer services waste of time just keep fobbing you off and when you ask for a refund they ignore you. I realise covid has made things a bit more difficult but they should have told customers that there will be long delays. WILL NEVER buy from Millets again.

DO NOT BUY from Millets. Ordered item almost 2 moths ago and not recieved it. Customer care just keep sending me to track order and sign off from online chat when you ask for a refund. REALLY BAD service. NEVER again.

avoid at all costs , 3 weeks and still no boots , had to fork out again as i needed them for an holiday , customer service is a joke , glad i payed via paypal so i can claim money back , disgraceful company , hope they go bust

Order still has not arrived and is 2 months late. Have tried to cancel and get a refund and got an email saying they cant cancel as it's been dispatched...even though I havnt received it. Response to my emails is slow to non existent. Very poor customer service...never again !!!!!!

I have ordered essential camping equipment and it has still not been dispatched. When trying to contact the customer services there is nothing but automated responses. There are no answers, no basic care. It's very frustrating. I wish I had not used them.

Ordered goods online and had updates to say the order was being processed and then every morning I would get a text to say there had been a delay. I then had an email to say it had been dispatched, week and half later order still hasnt arrived. Tried to track order, no joy and tried online chat with 'Becky' which is clearly automated again no joy. Looked for phone number to call but as agents are working from home you cant call! So following reading review on here I have filled in the customer service form asking for update, I'm not holding my breath! I wont be using Millets again

Having had my money for over a week, received daily apologies for the order still being picked. Customer care didn’t live up to their name, and eventually the goods are showing as out of stock when it was due to be picked. Refund will take 5 - 7 working days. This company needs to close its order books and catch up / revamp its process or they risk seeing loyal customers like me stop buying from them.

The worst rip off company ever!! Damaged goods delivered, wasted so much time trying to get a refund. Still waiting over a month after postal tracking shows they have received the items. AVOID! You will lose your money

Would not recomment ordering from Millets online. Ordered a tent in May and several other items. Money was taken straight away. Apparently DHL lost the whole order in transit. Another order put through (after chasing where the order was several times) some parts of the order came through not the tent, questioned again, several times, told it wasn't in stock, another customer service advisor said it was still with DHL, no more correspondence from this advisor tent never arrived. Received a refund. Was lied to from the beginning. Awful service.
