“MM has pretty speedy shipping. Their daily deals and sales tend to be pretty underwhelming. But they do open mini cases and have various new sets for sales (as long as you dont want the chase rares which are pricey)”

“I am a newbie to Magic the Gathering but have started to dip my toes into it. I have found the collector packs to be of value to my collection. Also Miniature Market packed and shipped them well. My only quibble with the process is the need to access my account to obtain the tracking number but otherwise happy with the service.”

“It is a BIG game. It barely fits on my 4 x 6 foot dining room table. It has a lot of pieces. It looks AWESOME. It plays in 2 to 3 hours but this does not include set up and take down time. Learning the game will take an afternoon because there is is lot going on. Combat is dice driven so it risky. The rest is fairly deterministic but is subject to analysis paralysis which can add to the play time. Player interaction can be adjusted by the starting leaders and their proximity on the map. I would classifiy this as a monster sandbox game so you need a dedicated group to play it with,”

“LA-1 is cooperative cyber-noir adventure that requires the investigators to gather clue tokens and use them to solve the current case. Each investigator is unique, with different abiltities and skill sets, so there are numerous player combos. At each location deck, players can perform investigations or stakeouts to advance their case, but must do so before the negative effects of "darkness" results in a loss. LA-1 has been compared to Arkham Horror, although it seems much closer in theme and gameplay to 2008's Android (FFG).”
