Ordered online received a large box on delivery containing 20 phones but not the one I ordered.Contacted them immediately they arranged collection a few days later I took photographs of items to secure it.Saved them over£5000 and yet all I got as a thank you was £26.

Do not buy from this company, they do not advertise their products clearly. I bought a huawei p30 lite new edition phone from mobile phones direct to only find it did not support WiFi calling. They fobbed me off with excuses and would not take the phone back for a refund. They told me to wait for an update which would enable WiFi calling which was a lie. I’ve had the most stressful time dealing with this company and they brought me to tears several times and still now 7 months later I’m still trying to sort this issue and have got no where. I don’t even use the phone instead I’m using a hand me down phone because I live in an area where I have little or no signal therefore relying on WiFi calling which this phone does not have and I was not aware of this being a missing feature when I researched and bought it. They misled me selling me a useless phone which they will not find a solution in sorting my consumer rights, instead they constantly blame 02, I feel like a ball in a tennis match being batted back and forth to each company as both will not accept responsibility. I will never ever shop here again. Their customer service is awful. I’ve been hung up on I presume because they don’t have a clue what to do about the situation, I’ve been lied to about waiting for an update and told more lies about having a strengthening sim that will sort all my worries. They said they had called 02 on my behalf and that I was to call them and they were expecting my call so when I phoned 02 surprise surprise they had no idea and said such thing does not exist and will make no difference. No matter how hard and frustrating it was calling them 100s of times explaining my story to 100s of different advisors believing they could help and they still haven’t and I’ve lost all trust and faith and I really do not want some other poor innocent soul going through what I have it’s mentally draining and demeaning and has caused arguments between myself and my partner because I’d be brought to tears, feeling down and depressed. Everyday I just wish for a phone that works. I, nor anyone else should be left feeling this this. Even writing this review is giving me anxiety and making me feel sad. So fed up.

Do not purchase anything from this company. It states in the website that you will be paying £13.50 a month each month. This is very misleading as you actually have to pay £30 every month, then claim the money back at 6,9,12,15,18 months. So you aren't paying £13.50 a month. If you have a query you are unable to get through just on hold all the time, and even the online chat wasn't working or in a queueing system and doesn't move you closer to talking to anyone. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

The courier lost my phone, and they told me I had to wait 14 days. It’s been way more than that and I keep getting passed onto other people to solve it. Meanwhile the new contract is taking more money and I’m still paying for my old one with no phone. I keep getting told someone will call me to update. Outrageous.

Twice now I’ve paid upfront for advertised, in stock next day delivery iPhones, they run the credit check take the big deposit then show awaiting stock with no estimated delivery date, I waited 2 weeks on the first attempt before cancelling ordered a different iPhone now the same - if you don’t have stock say so

Along the lines of all the other poor reviews avoid don't trust they'll make you regret it. It's like they find solace in treating customers poorly, I'm going to speak with ombudsmen so hop e fully can bring them to justice they quite obviously deserve

Extremely poor customer service. Avoid. Because of their error I'm getting billed twice for a mobile phone contract. My complains has been ignored for 20 days now. Call centre staff are extremely useless, incompetent and do not will resolve the problem. My complaint has been passed to a manager Adrian Blackwood who has been equally useless and is very arrogant when talking to me on the phone. Number of times I was promised a call back, but it never happened.

**AVOID** Absolutely awful experience with this company. Ordered the samsung s21+ 5 weeks ago and its been an absolute nightmare ever since. The phone had to be sent back for inspection as there was a fault and it kept restarting for no reason, when they recieved the phone they could not find no fault. I thought maybe cos the phone has been reset it had removed the fault, so i agreed to have the phone back within 5 minutes of having the phone back it had restarted again and done this 6 times before I decided to put it back in the box. At first they told me my 14day warranty was up (yet they had the device for majority of the time) and I had to go to samsung to get this problem sorted. I requested for them to sort this problem out, they agreed to have the phone back in for inspection, and apparently there was still no fault to be found. I guess I'm just a liar and love to waist my time with companies like these. So it has cost me in delivering the phone back to them twice, almost £20, a phone case and 2 screen protectors....and finally they cancelled the contract without even informing me which has now left me with no phone, no network provider and a very unhappy customer!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Disappointed with the experience I have had with this company. I had an order cancelled citing 'internal security check failure.' I confirmed that the network accepted the credit check and the contract, only MPD refusing the order. It struck me as odd considering that many others had this issue on the same deal, with no known reason to fail. Customer service was helpful through Facebook. The manager I eventually spoke to was helpful but seemed to push me off the phone. That being said, this refusal doesn't sit right with me, especially as the credit check was carried out and accepted. To those reading this who can't understand why I struggle to accept the outcome of an internal security check, I found this deal on a deals website, where many others have had this issue without any explanation given. I know exactly what their response will be to this review, that they "can't give out this information" and that their internal checks were valid. MPD, please know that these disproportionate security check failures have resulted in credit checks being carried out for no purpose. It can have real impacts on ordinary people's applications for credit. I won't be ordering with them again.

Very pleased with my phone and the deal I got with it. I was kept updated with the delivery time throughout as well. Also very easy to switch my number. Very impressed. My first cashback claim was accepted today as I made sure that the info I supplied was totally correct, thus giving them no excuse not to accept my application. If they don't pay my cashback I'll simply start an online money claim via the .gov website and get my money back that way. They won't have a leg to stand on and I'll do this for each successive claim if necessary. Fingers crossed that they don't mess me about though...

Placed an order on Friday recieved email saying to contact the network 3 which I did credit check went through was told to email back with response. Trying to get through to mobile phones direct no one seems to pick up called 4 times waiting 20 min on the line with no luck. I am currently on the phone still waiting I have been on the line for the past 40 min. Very disappointed.

If you are ever unfortunate enough to be dealing with this company please read over your terms and conditions closely as being mislead on the site is a speciality of this company conning the customer you will be lead to believe you are paying a much smaller line rental than you actually will be. Never assume check is a great term for mobilephonesdirect all these cashback offers are by redemption meaning all the work must be done by you the customer to claim this back over instalments on which hand if you don’t want the hassle of sending across your bill and remembering order reference numbers for months 6,9,12,15 and month 18 then you are better going to the network provider who will give you a deal for much the same price without the hassle. Will not be using them again and will make all friends family and work colleagues customers everybody I know and come across will be told about this bad experience I have been unfortunate enough to experience.

I've placed order on 1st December 2023 and untill now haven't got the order, it's been 2 weeks already, order not showing any progress, despite the item I've ordered is not a pre-order by the way, they are blaming that O2 are currently in the process of updating their computing platform to increase their security and processing abilities with their customers however when discussed with O2 they confirmed that no such update is carried out not good experience at wall, in future will avoid this webshop

I ordered phone over two weeks ago. delivery was supposed to be the next day, unfortunately I ordered the phone over two weeks ago. delivery was supposed to be the next day, unfortunately the phone was returned to the warehouse and was to be sent again. I made a lot of calls and each time I received an apology and they told me to wait another few days because they have their own procedures, so I waited and called again. I was blocked from O2 so I couldn't take out a new contract and they started charging me a monthly fee for the contract without having a phone at all!!!! Finally, 5 days have passed and the phone was supposed to be sent today, but it turned out that it was MISSING!!!! no one informed me, no one sent me any e-mail. It turned out that the pink iPhone 15s I wanted was not in stock, so I agreed to buy a black one. and I'm waiting again. this is absolutely unacceptable. Terrible service, no one is helpful, they assured many times that it would be sent, but it only extended the time!!!! avoid this website. "I bought an S23 Ultra on November 15, 2023. The phone arrived on the 16th without bubble wrap, which is standard for preventing damage. Unfortunately, my box was damaged, prompting me to contact customer service. After a 15-minute call with advisor Shanna and her manager Matt (or Matthew), they offered a meager £10 refund. Returning the phone is an option, but it's inconvenient, especially since I purchased it through a Vodafone contract, affecting my credit score. Now, I'm torn between accepting the £10 or going through the hassle of returning the phone and seeking a new contract elsewhere, risking another credit check. I considered buying a box on eBay, but they refused to increase the amount or send a new box.I voiced my concerns to Shanna about the inconvenience of their exchange process, which takes up to 10 days. I find it ridiculous that customers receive their orders next day, but exchanges involve packing, labeling, and sending the phone, resulting in a 10-day wait.I caution others to stay away from Mobile Phones Direct, part of AO.com. The manager, Matt, should address concerns with the courier, DPD, or consider adding bubble wrap for a small cost to avoid tarnishing their reputation. Despite being in the process of a house purchase, they showed no remorse for the potential impact on my credit score.I paid £349 upfront for the handset, and I believe I have the right to receive a perfect product, considering the total payment of £1024. I hope this review helps others, and I urge the managers or CEO to take action. I'm still within the 14-day cooling-off period, considering alternatives like purchasing directly from Samsung without contracts. This negative experience contrasts with my positive experiences with Mobiles.co.uk, part of Carphone Warehouse, in the past."

This company is based only on sales. If you have any problem, no one will solve it. I bought a new phone, which was damaged during shipping. I called and sent emails to various addresses. I have been waiting for any response for a week. I am ignored by this company. I suggest avoiding tsj company like the plague.
