“Absolute scum company. Been with them for years, always paid, but had a bad experience with the family courts, got behind on some payments trying to fight to see my children. They defaulted my credit file despite me pleading my case and paying balance off early. Tried explaining I no longer see my children. Compassion zero. Avoid them at all costs. They don’t care. No loyalty to customers. Not even worth one star. Avoid them at all costs.”

“I would like to write a review and thankyou KYLIE in particular for her help when experiencing financial difficulty due to job change over. She helped set up a payment plan, I never once felt judged and she was really understanding. Amazing customer service! Thanks again!”

“I changed my payment date from 25th to the 6th. So they took the 25th payment and still had the 6th payment so i payed double in 10days. The option they gave me was a payment plan and would be on my credit file. Im not happy about this as ive never missed a payment on nothing in 10 years. Made me feel like i was in the wrong for changing the date. The man on the phone said it was my fault. I wont use them again”

“I will NEVER use this company again! (Moto novo finance) I have recently voluntarily terminated my car as I had it over the half way mark & by law this is allowed with no fixed penalty. I was given false information multiple times & was told I owed more then what I did with 4 different figures over the space of 3 weeks. The customer service was disgusting. I felt like, more than a few of the customer service team, were trying to intimidate me into keeping the car full term & paying a debt that I legally did not owe. I wrote a formal complaint & opened a case with financial ombudsman as I was told I would have to pay a extra £3000 ( even though I gave back a car worth: £14-15,000 , that they were going to sell at auction) I was also told that if I didn’t pay this sum, that the debt would be passed on to a debt collection Agency & that my credit file would be effected. My balance is now at zero. Guys: I had to fight my corner & although it was stressful at times, it was worth the outcome. I believe this company is a scam. My advice is stay well clear.”

“Used to hold high praises for MotoNovo. I've had 4 loans totalling 25000 in the last few years, paid every one back in full on time, will longer lend to me all of a sudden, what a let down this company is.”

“Rubbish company, always looking for ways to add interest on top of interest that they already charge on the loan. Trying to explain to them that you've been made redundant is demoralising (they make you feel like utter dirt), and when you finally get yourself back on your feet and start making regular payments and extra on top it's not enough, they want blood. Go elsewhere for finance!”

“Yet again this company has screwed my credit file - my payment was 3 days late which I fully accept was my own fault for not checking whilst working away but the payment did go through 3 days later - did this company report it as a late NO reported as a missed payment even though they had taken payment, then take the next payment and still report the payment in arrears - 7 Months I had to wait till they correctly amended my credit file last time due to Motonovo's own incompetence whereby a reporting tag had not been removed from my file and have a letter from them confirming there mistake - If you want to protect your credit file do not use this company whatsoever they are a joke and I cannot wait till they get their comeuppance with the FCA”

“Never use this company! Got into financial difficulty as lost my job during the pandemic. Have now got myself back on my feet, so started paying back debt, and paying more than enough on top to cover arrears for them now to keep adding interest on the current debt. Criminals the lot of em.”

“Shambolic company, has no clue. Salary of £750,000 and excellent credit rating but still declined and gave no reason at all, Furious. Took over 3 days to give a decision. Don't use them as will affect your credit ratings.”

“I did have an issue with the company with my credit report showing I'd missed payments when they'd been paid. I spoke to Christine Grant and she was very helpful and dealt with my complaint in a professional way and to my satisfaction. Very impressed with the way she dealt with it. Thankyou Christine.”

“The worst finance company out there! Dealt with BEN RIVERS the regional representative who was full of self importance and very judgemental, ironic for a guy on 15k at best per annum! Found them to be very hard work throughout the whole process and would advise anyone looking for finance to avoid this rapacious organisation with its overly arrogant under achieving representatives. Once again thank you to BEN RIVERS for over complicating the whole process totally unnecessarily.”

“Used motorNovo car loan, when traded car back to dealer, the dealer paid off the loan. Unfortunately, probably due to COVID19 restrictions, the payment was delayed, either by the dealer or by MotoNovo, not by me. Consequently, I now have a negative entry on my credit rating. MotoNovo representative was rude and unsympathetic. I would never recomend this company.”

“DONT BOTHER!!!!! The company are a joke, my sister got ore approved for finance, paid her deposit which was more than she originally had a quote for then on the day of collection and despite raising her deposit they changed their mind! Absolute joke, run by people that don’t have a clue,If it was a no then it should of been a no from the start, not mess somebody around and then because they pay more deposit then decline her.”
