Awful Awful - Do NOT use. Sent them two items and they evaded every question about confirming the contents as I had sent two items. They would NOT tell me what they received. They would NOT give me a telephone number, would not put me through to anyone who could tell me what they have received. Ella the customer service stated they had received both after 20 mins or arguing and then said no they haven't and may take 2-3 days to check what they have received. The most scammy company i have ever dealt with. Will be taking this to court with the print out of the conversation recorded and full claim and costs. Do NOT use these and be scammed like i have. I have the DPD delivery stating they have sent/received and have photographic evidence. MBP do not want to even state what they have got for 2-3 days! wow... just wow... be WARNED.

Raised a quote with MPB for 3 items that being Nikon Z7ii, Nikon 20mm F1.8 and a Nikon 24-70. Offer received was low but acceptable. Packaged and sent my stuff to them but then realised I did not include the tx ref number they provide on the box and called them. Advisor said he did not have the original quote and apologised and said he would re-quote and confirmed the equipment had arrived with them safely. Then I receive an email with the re-raised quote which they sneakily requited £500 less than the original quote. I called them back immediately and was told they would raise it with the purchase sales team.....Today I get an offer and they knocked even more off so now I'm close to £600 less. Camera has 6000 actuations so you can imagine this camera is pristine the 20mm lens £1000 in the shops is also pristine having been used sparingly. and the other lens received a fare offers. My advice is, they where a great company offering fare money for your equipment but now they are operating in an unprofessional manner, steer clear until they sort themselves out and if not give them a massive miss.

I had two negative experiences purchasing with MPB. They did not honor their return policy and I have had multiple issues with their items not matching the description or the photos on the original listing. What makes this even more complicated is that they at no point provide a serial number, they only provide a SKU number. They also do not send items with a packing list and never put the product serial number on the receipt after payment is processed. This led to a denial of a return that is baseless since I had nothing to verify if they actually sent the correct item. I have had two instances of mismatch items not fitting the original listing. The first was a canon camera lens, which had far more damage than the listing claimed…The condition was blatantly incorrect and the photos did not match. I purchased a camera from them a few years ago and had a very positive experience… These last two purchases occurred within 30 days and I am disgusted by this company. I informed them of the concerns with the camera body the very next morning after I received it. The return was approved, the item was shipped back that afternoon… Three days after they receive it, they claim the serial number does not match their SKU number… but I never received a serial number, that was never discussed with the MPB representative and they are attempting to force me into keeping an item that was returned well within their 14-day return period. Within 24 hours… This is not the only report of MPB sending incorrect items or not putting an appropriate condition of the items they are selling. There is also a lack of transparency with these “serial number mismatches” that are identifiers not being disclosed to the customers who ultimately purchase the item. Only to then be a deceptive reason to deny a return claim. I had the camera in my possession for less than 12 hours and was forthright and honest with the MPB customer service team. I sent it back and informed them of my concerns immediately. I fortunately took photos of the camera and the item packaged at the FedEx location to confirm timestamps… I have now resorted to filing a dispute with my bank… please steer clear of purchasing used gear from this company or at the very least practice extreme caution… I have no more trust for this company and am still in the process of disputing.

do not ever, ever choose "free" shipping on fedex for purchased items unless you want to get exasperated. both companies don't honor their commitments. delays will happen everytime because it's "free." better yet, don't do business with either one. there are far better alternatives: keh and ups. or unless you enjoy chatting with ai and only get more exasperated. and yes, you will definitely get an apology but that's all! .

• This platform is deceptive. • They initially appear friendly and provide signals to make money, but to continue receiving signals, a deposit of at least 10k is required. • Withdrawing money is impossible, and customer service is unresponsive.

Contacted MPB for a price on a lens which was in mint condition, quote was acceptable so agreed to sale. In-between pick up and payment Sigma announced a MkII version of the lens and then MBP adjusted my quote from mint to excellent (due to marks on the body and internal dust) and dropped the price by £185. Lens arrived back today as I refused the ammended quote and there is absolutely no internal dust or any marks on the body. I have sold many lenses to them in the past but not so sure now.

They are a scam ... They are a scam .... got a camera from them 2024, battery should have been a genuine canon, was a third party battery that wasn't working properly. The agreed that i should have got a genuine canon, but didn't have one to exchange ... that was it !! They said that the battery was an "accessory" and not really part of the main kit. Genuine canon battery 150, third part 50 !! The only option they offered was to send the entire order back for a full refund. Not even an apology for trying to fob me off. Makes a mockery of all their guarantees and assurances. I would not trust them ever again.

Item never arrived. After three months they claimed it had been sent back to them by the courier but I still haven’t had my refund. Used to be good but now I am not so sure.

I’ll summarize it. On 3/19, I applied to a job posted on MPB’s career page. On 3/21, Jacob Fooks scheduled an interview for 3/27 @3:30pm EST. On 3/27, Jacob rescheduled it for the same day @3:00pm EST. On 3/27, I joined online a few minutes early, but no one showed up. I waited until 3:30 just in case, but no one showed up. I waited another 5 minutes to no avail. I even emailed Jacob mid-way while waiting, but he didn’t respond. I also emailed Jacob the next day to see what happened, but he still didn’t respond. On 4/2, I emailed Matt Barker (CEO), detailing what transpired, but he hasn’t responded. To date, there has been no communication from anyone at MPB. They wasted my time and proved they don’t care about people. Lack of professionalism and courtesy leads me to believe working at MPB is a bad idea.

Complete ripoff and dishonest. I returned the lens for repair and they told me he was ready to ship 8 days later I still hadn't received it. Then they said they found a replacement and they still haven't shipped it don't waste your money

Sent them my Sony FS7 and a Fujinon HA video zoom lens and they offered 400 for the camera and nothing for the lens. They returned the camera and "lost" the lens??? They are trying to blame it on FEDEX???? Horrible company do not use.

Oh why am I forced to give them even a 1 star rating??? My choice would be -10, and that's being generous. My experience is reflected in all of the 1 star comments above, but after the way I was gaslit and summarily dismissed in the most patronising and condescending fashion, I somehow suspect that these reviews will not find their way to MPB customer service (if they even have one). So, the best thing I can do, to save future victims, sorry, potential customers, from being similarly ROBBED of the £400+ I paid for a dud lens, is to warn everyone- DO NOT seal with this company, under ANY circumstances....unless you're rich enough to take a hit on your hard-earned £££s. This company is a DISGRACE. If I'd read these reviews above before my ill-advised purchase, I'd be £418 better off. I got a quote for a repair of the lens 2 weeks ago from a different company to make it workable: £355... You can see now, my gathering ire. Still, it's not over just yet as Citizens Advice will be my next call and I'll be searching every avenue of Customer rights to make these b......s pay.

I purchased a camera that was stated as 'Excellent Condition'. Upon arrival the camera had a sensor with a fingerprint on it, it was worn, the glass was pitted and unable to take a photo with any quality output. The camera is an obvious return or defect, but whatever it is; it is not a sellable item. And definitely not in excellent condition.

My first order from them the camera was dead on arrival and missing a strap. My replacement order was missing the battery charger and the strap is broken. When calling, I was told that they would see if they happen to have any spare chargers and straps laying around. If not I was told to just return the camera. I was also asked to take a picture of the non existent charger. How do they not have these items in stock and, more importantly, how is it two orders now have been screwed up? Mpb responded to my original review that they would have a supervisor reach out, which was a lie. They also vision that they have a very skilled and thorough quality team, which is also a lie. I feel at this point I should get some kind of compensation for my trouble.

Absolutely horrible. This is the first and last purchase I will ever make with these clowns. Immediately after opening the box, I see that the camera strap is not included. So much for thorough inspection. Then I discover the piece of garbage they gave me won’t even come on after charging the battery. Apparently they take whatever piece of trash they can pass off as a functioning camera and throw it in a box to get your money with absolutely zero oversight into product quality or functionality. Will never do business with them again.

In late January I ordered a replacement battery for my Mavic pro drone. In retrospect I’m unsure if the picture was a Mavic 2 battery or not, but the product page title included what I was looking for *as well as* the invoice. “2” was no where to be found. Well that’s what I received, a Mavic 2 battery. It is now March and after shipping it back from MT to NYC, arriving on Feb 16th, they are STILL PROCESSING IT. I got a confirmation that it was packed for dispatch, a full 7 days later and no shipment confirmation. DO NOT take your risks with this company. They are incompetent and lazy.

I sent my equipment to them in good faith based on other reviews. They had provided an initial estimate and then lowered that estimate by £200 based on spurious evidence. The camera was returned to me less an accessory that I was later had been destroyed. That is despite the piece of equipment being detailed in an email to them. Their response was utterly pathetic and of no help. Apparently it was claimed it was my fault.

I enquired about buying a lens from them and sent them a message, I eventually got a message back 3 days later telling the lens I interested in did not have any dust inside it and was in good condition. I replied to them saying thanks I will purchase the lens, HOWEVER! The price had suddenly gone up by £450! huh? I asked why but still awaiting a reply. What do i think? VERY DODGY! Dear Truspilot before you remove my genuine review I have the evidence and spoke with Jake their Customer Experience Advisor.

MPB is the worst company I’ve ever worked with. I bought a lens, but decided to cancel the order so I could with a better one I found afterwards. I worked with one of the customer service representatives to cancel my order. They assured me the order was cancelled, and I bought the other lens. The next day, I received an email saying the lens was being dispatched from my house original order. I reached out to MPB again and they told me it was a soft glitch in the system. So not only did they lie the order was cancelled, they refused to follow up and notify me about it. They refused to give me a refund until the order was received back citing company policies. I’m fairly certain their company policy doesn’t include lying to customers. In addition, the other lens I ordered which was graded as “excellent” is in “good” condition at best. Highly considering returning it. Do not order from this company! Adorama, KEH, and B&H have much better prices and customer service.
