You can only really tell the quality of a business when you have an issue and how it's customer service reacts. I have been a loyal customer of Mr Porter for over a decade. This last experience of them has been shocking. They have clealry outsourced their customer service department. They used to be responsive and helpful in the past. Not anymore. I had an issue with an item which was faulty. I first emailed them on 24 October and had to keep chasing for a response. They offered me 10% refund to get it fixed myself rather than offering a full refund. After many many more emails to them and the threat of reporting them to my credit card company they agreed for the return of the item and confirmed I would be refunded on receipt. That was 14 November. I returned them on 18 November. After more emails asking where the refund was i was told as at 5 December they had inspected the item and found no fault and would not be issuing a refund and asked for a return address. I will now have to take further action against Mr Porter. Be warned. It's only when you have a problem that you will experience how a company reacts. The amount of time wasted. There are many other competitors out there which you will have a better experience with. Avoid!

I ordered a perfume and I just now read the reviews. They took over $100 dollars off the card and I don't know if I'm getting it back.

I agree with most of the reviews below. Mr Porter used to be great, it was my go to for shopping. Unfortunately, customer service has gone extremely downhill. An item got damaged after minimum wear. I reported this to customer service on Sep 12. It's Nov 22 now and we're still going back and forth. I had to send back the item. Without any updates I received the item back, nicely packed and a new price tag attached to it. Turns out it's my faulty item which they repacked. Asked for updates, didn't get any. It's crazy.

I lost 1500 euro by Mr Porter I have been a customer of Mr Porter for many years now, but this has been changed now by their terrible service. A package got lost and I did not receive it. When I called, Mr Porter told me it was clear that I did not receive it as the signature was done by someone from UPS and clearly not by me. The customer service of Mr Porter told me that this will be solved soon. Now, a few weeks later, they tell me that they cannot do anything for me and they say that the signature, which is clearly done by a UPS employee (because it says UPS id), is the proof of delivery and I am not getting a refund or replacement. I saved up for months to make this purchase and purposely had it be a signed delivery, I stayed home the whole day to make sure I can receive it and then this happens. I am furious, emotionally damaged and lost so much money because of this. I really hope they will still find a fitting solution because this is terrible. First telling me that they can see it has not been delivered and then not act on it afterwards.

I woke up one day to see that my bitcoin wallets have been hacked into and stolen and i was left with just two accounts. geroge victims helped me in the recovery process. Trusting him with my details was initially difficult and more difficult when he asked for payment before offering services, I am happy i trusted him. He was able to recover most of the accounts and I was pleased and satisfied because he also helped me with the security against a future hack. He is a great hacker. You can trust him. **Rating: 4/10** **Review: Disappointing Experience with Mr Porter** I’ve recently transitioned my shopping habits away from Mr Porter, and here’s why: Mr Porter’s website and app are well-designed, offering a fantastic selection of designer brands and collections. Initially, this drew me in and kept me coming back. However, several issues have marred my overall experience, leading me to switch to Harrods, SSENSE, and Endclothing. Despite reaching out via email on three separate occasions, my concerns were met with silence. The lack of response is especially disheartening from a high-end retailer like Mr Porter. A few months ago, I encountered a problem with the app not accepting Apple Pay, although it worked fine on the website. The customer service advisor I spoke with from the USA was exceptionally helpful and professional, which initially made me optimistic about continuing my patronage. Unfortunately, subsequent interactions with customer service representatives outside the USA were not as positive. Their support lacked the same level of professionalism and seemed to undervalue my concerns. The primary issue I faced was with product descriptions. The colors of items I received frequently did not match what was described on the site, leading to numerous returns and additional shipping costs. Despite highlighting these discrepancies and requesting refunds for the extra shipping charges, my concerns were ignored. In summary, while Mr Porter boasts an appealing platform and a wide range of high-end products, the lack of responsive and effective customer service, particularly from non-USA representatives, has been a significant letdown. The inaccuracies in product descriptions and the failure to address these issues have led me to seek more reliable retailers. For a premium online retailer, Mr Porter has fallen short in critical areas of customer service and product accuracy.

I received an item that didn't fit and needed to be returned. First off, I never received the replacement, so had to cancel that and start anew. Secondly, I never received my refund for the returned item. Mr. Porter confirmed that they got it back from UPS, they even told me that I had my refund and to check with my bank, but of course my bank never got it. It's been over a month and a half and i'm still trying to resolve this. I have contacted the BBB and have filed a dispute with my bank. I will never do business with this company again. As i've done more research i've found MANY people that have had the same issues as me. This does not seem to be an isolated instance. Buyer Beware!

For quite a while I was a loyal customer and was what they call an EIP. I was very happy with the selection and pricing but the customer service was always pretty poor. Eventually I had an issue where I tried to return an unworn item, in perfect condition, the day it was delivered (having decided it didn't suit me). This was rejected with them claiming it was stained (possibly they're too stupid to understand the dyed pattern is intentional). When I protested I got exactly the same response from customer service and from that point they literally ignored me, not replying to any further emails. I have now ceased shopping with them altogether.

They sell high end products, so they should dispatch faster. Thete is no excuse for moving at a glacier paste. They must do better to get their Shipping department move at a faster paste.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I received some poorly made shorts that after one light wear fell apart. I get it manufacturing default no biggie. So I shared the pictures and asked for a replacement. The shorts were discontinued as they were bought in the sale so I logically wanted a refund. Since then it's been non stop emails back and forth. Still awaiting a refund after sending the shorts back. So yeah never using them again. *Update 11/06/24 ( 3 months since this began) After waiting and going back with more information that they already had they said that is all we can do and we can move forward no further. NO REFUND, NO REPLACEMENT. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Customer service was worse than worse! Return policy is trash probably because they just want your money and not the returned items! They don't care about their customers.

The worst customer service I've ever received! Mr Porter is just living off the brand name but the company itself it’s an absolute trash! Take your money and go to the actual brand and buy what you want.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. People are rude, useless, unresponsive and ignorant. Further, the loyalty program is just a scam. Given a gold member, there are supposed to be no delivery charges. However, they always apply. When contacting customer services, they have each time a different excuse. You find better online stores with the same brands.

What has happened to a once great company 🤬 Bought a pair of shorts and a tee shirt and yes I did fall victim to the price reduction offer before I even had delivery but I understand this is a business not charity. Anyway shorts bought are described/listed as the same shorts previously bought but in a different colour where upon receipt they are totally different in quality, sizing and appearance - drastic reduction in quality from manufacturer or lazy editing from Mr Porter 🤔 Tee shirt simply total wrong colour from one ordered - only fault can be attributed to Mr Porter despatch team. When they was communicated to customer service after a lot of time and effort it was agreed I would get a refund to my Mr Porter Acc not Paypal - they have tried this scam on previous customers please see other reviews. I of course still wanted the tee shirt but I would of had to pay again as there would of been no credit in my account as return would not have been rec'd - again please see below for other experiences. Of course this was again highlighted to Mr Porter along with if I wait that long sale would be over or item sold - guess what happened.? Yes by the time they used some common sense the item had been sold out 🤡 As way of apology I got a telephone call from supervisor Don saying they would refund my delivery fee - well thank you very much for that Don - you mean the fee I paid myself to get an incorrect delivered item and a pair of counterfeit shorts ! Great customer service 😡 Mr Porter used to be top of the tree and a great company but obviously something is "changing" there and they are experiencing huge problems so advise to stay away from Mr Porter until they can get their act together.

Report them to the consumer protection bit of citizens advice - they report every call to trading standards. They will investigate and ensure this company is brought to book. Too many people are getting had off. In my case they changed their story from ‘we are looking after your item’ and will refund shortly to telling me I didn’t return it. My bank is trying to get the money back but everyone who’s been messed about by these should contact citizens advice so trading standards get a good idea of how big a problem this company is. They used to be great too. They’ll reply to this asking me to email or some nonsense.

They suck you in with a promotional code then as you go to pay and add code they tell you oh no its not for all our items only some!!! Very Dodgy and i wont be supporting this type of business

My parcel was marked as delivered even though it wasn't and I was at home the whole day. I contacted customer service immediately and after tens of emails I today received an email that after 3 months of doing nothing to solve the problem they have closed the investigation. Horrible customer service and will definitely never order from them again.
