“Never received either set of dog tags. Post Master confirmed with tracking number dog tags never made it here. Tracking number revealed tags were delivered to 17345 Legacy Round Hill, VA 20141. My address: PO Box 1655 Fabens TX, 79838”

“I receive it with bending defecte, the material used look and feel to cheap and thin stainless, the chain look good , the stickers small for the tags And the rubber covers the name on it it’s look awful .”

“Out of the box I could tell the material was inferior to military issue. So if your looking for active duty inspection passable tags these are not it ONE TAG IS STARTING TO RUST I CANT BELIEVE I PAID MONEY FOR THESE FONT : not the same font used for standard ISsue tags . Also not the same font as pictured in proofs. EMBOSSING : They arrived reversed like pillow embossed instead of USMC standards SILENCERS Barely wrap around edges so the constantly unwrap themselves . Hardly silencing dog tags so you will be at risk in combat scenarios where your stealth will cost you your life. CHAIN: way cheap chain. Had no real weight to it so I assume it’s crappy MATERIAL : oh my god people this stuff is thin and has no weight to it. If I were you I would save your money and head out to the surplus store and have the real stuff made there. I’m thoroughly disappointed . I was looking for a set to replace marine corps standard tags.”

Hi Jeremy, thank you for the review. Our tags are made in the US to military specifications out of stainless steel. Military tags have been 'thin' (.014") for many years. We do sell a high carbon tag that will rust (on purpose). If we sent you the wrong tags we will replace them for you. Embossed font, which you chose, has been the military standard for many years. Some bases continue to use their older machines to deboss. We provide many options for our customers to get their replacement tags made like their original issue. Our chains are supplied by the same US manufacturer that supplies the military. Standard silicone silencers are easy to put on and they also do slip off. We offer a more rigid PVC silencer that is harder to put on and stays on. Please email us at support@mydogtag.com so we can help you customize a set of tags that meets your expectations. Hi Larry, Our Dogtags are made in the USA of military spec 304 stainless steel and are designed to be thin enough to be legibly stamped. You chose the 60s era DEBOSS print option which is indeed harder to read than the modern EMBOSS option, however we offer it for those seeking authenticity. If you rub black shoe polish into the depressions of the letters (a service that we offer) it will make it easier to read. https://www.mydogtag.com/blog/debossed-darkened-letter-dog-tags. May I suggest that you order dogtags from another source so that you can compare them with ours.

Hi Charles, We made your dogtags EXACTLY as submitted to us by yourself. You left the religion blank when designing your dogtags. which was shown to you in the preview image. I am not sure why you would expect us to change your design and add "NO PREFERENCE" without your explicit consent. Please reply via email and we can work something out, we are always pleased to help out veterans.
