“Delivery on time - ordered the Brass version of Dogtags - first blush shiny and somewhat readable - however… After only 2 weeks the brass tarnished a weird grey colour making it difficult to read tried a number of things to remove tarnish finally tried Brasso which did remove it with a LOT of elbow grease - get what you pay for I guess!”

Hi Victor, as stated on our website our solid brass tags will definitely oxidize over time. The resulting bluish green veridigris is known as 'patina' and is often a desired effect. Our mil- spec stainless steel tags will never rust or oxidize.

“These tags were/are exactly the same as what I was issued before I was shipped out to Thailand, in 1974. Through no fault of my own, I lost my originals. Most places I searched had the current issue tags or the pre-1964 tags with the notch. The VSM decal is an excellent touch.”

“I had ordered a similar Tag from a competitor and when it arrived it was a fairly heavy chunk of chrome! Not at all what I was expecting. So this Tag is Very similar to my old Dog Tags and with the laser print I have all of the info I need on ONE tag...Thanks muck!”
