“I love it! I have lost 5 kg since I started with Fresh Start during Lockdown. I have skipped a couple of weeks because I had so much food in my pantry but I tried to recreate a few of the recipes to help me keep in line 😊.”

“So pleased with My Food Bag. Its been fantastic to start our winter with the Winter Wellness box. Love the greenery in the box when we first open it up. Everything fresh and top quality. This definitely makes us look forward to our meals. All the seasonings, dressings and garnishes are great tasting aswell. You can tell these dishes have been well thought about with the flavour combinations. And of course enjoyable to cook, a pleasure to throw together.”

“I love that MFB takes me out of my comfort zone with creating new, fun and tasty meals that don't take an age to prepare and a minute to eat! To have the recipes to refer to independently later is an added bonus and gets me exploring how I can personalise or adapt them to suit my needs and the provisions I have available. Altogether this has been a great 'project' to distract me through 3 months of non-weight-bearing with a badly broken leg, followed by Covid-19 grounding through Level 4 and then to top it off, a family member being diagnosed as terminally ill. MFB has been a ray of sunshine thorough all this! here's to a happier second half of the year and more experimenting and discovery through MFB A BIG thanks to The team, the delivery people and most of all the focus on fresh, fun food with a Kiwi focus.”

“I ordered my first My Food Bag at the beginning of the lockdown and was so glad I did. It meant I didn’t need to go to the supermarket but best of all we enjoyed four nights of restaurant style meals which were better than any restaurant we’ve been to. The quality of the produce we’ve received has been amazingly good. It is fun to cook in a different style and taste flavours that area bit different. We are continuing to enjoy getting MyFood Bag after buying them for several months and intend to keep Enjoying delicious meals.”

“I was very hesitant at first but decided to try the Plant Based Bag - not because I'm a vegan but because I can't eat dairy. I absolutely loved it and I learnt a lot about different foods that I've never tried before (ie tofu, bulgar wheat etc). The portions are generous and filling, so I never felt like I was missing out on anything. The flavours are awesome. Everything comes in neat packages which are well labelled, and all the meals can be cooked in a max. of 35-40 minutes. If you're thinking of trying it, it's well worth it.”

“We LOVE my food bag! So impressed with the quality of the produce, tasty healthy meals, recyclable packaging and how well the boxes are packed and the drivers who deliver are polite, thoughtful and always in the timeframe that’s expected😁 We are certainly committed from here on in. No other food box out there is on the same par. We know because we have tried. I have recommended you to many friends. Keep up the great work! If you wanted to add anything extra I would love to have some dessert recipes😁😁😁 Oh and the little extra surprises that have been received Kombucha and Oat milk was awesome. A really nice surprise! Looking forward to my loyalty treats too.”

“I told my children - I will learn to cook when you are at High School ... when I finish my volunteer job ... when you all leave home ... when I have finished studying ... ... ... and then Lockdown came, my husband couldn't be the designated shopper because of his health condition and I was working from home with more hours but no travel time. My adult children surprised us with paying for My Food Bag for 2 months and I finally learnt to cook!!! I love the home delivery, unboxing the food items, and then readying all the items in preparation to cook. The food is fresh, delicious and nutritious and the cook well she isn't too old to learn, the cooking process is easy and enjoyable - no thinking what to eat and are all the ingredients in the house. I have kept the payments going so Christmas in a box arrives still now!! Thanks my precious ones for the gift. Thanks My Food Bag Team”

“We love MFB! My partner is vegetarian/pescatarian - and I am not! It was so challenging trying to keep meals varied, interesting and nutritious for both of us. Now we have meals 4 days a week we both enjoy on a fortnightly basis. We don’t have the ‘what shall we have tonight problem’ and we are saving money and reducing the amount of food we waste. The servings are generous - so we end up freezing meals, so my partner has something good to eat when I want a steak or chops. We live a fair way out from main urban centre and MFB is one of the few that deliver here. Was a godsend during lockdown too! Thanks guys!”
