“Love getting Bargain Box and in particular being offered specials when ordering. We do have a problem with the frozen peas as they do not arrive frozen but we are putting them in the freezer anyway, not too sure if there is a better way to do this.”

“The meals are consistently great with plenty of variety, which I genuinely appreciate. However, I’ve had a few service issues that took the shine off the experience. Most recently, I unpaused my account to claim a meat offer, but the promotion didn’t apply correctly. On another occasion, on a public holiday, I received a text saying my delivery was an hour away. I drove 30 minutes to my workplace to meet it, waited another 30, and eventually called, only to be told the message was sent in error and the delivery was actually scheduled for the next day. That was an hour of my time (and fuel) I didn’t expect to lose. I was also gifted a pack of biscuits that never arrived, which was disappointing. Overall, the product is strong, but these operational missteps make budgeting and planning harder than they should be. I’ve paused my account for now and will source my own meals for a while, but I hope to see more reliability in future as the food itself is worth it.”

“Compared to other brands of ready made meals I've tried, My Foodbag Ready Made meals are usually well flavoured and well balanced. My only criticism is there can far too many pies in a single week's selection. Especially if lasagna is included. This can significantly limit selection. Its also necessary to add a side dish of veg to serve with the pies (in fairness, I do usually add a serving of fresh veg to have with all of the dishes regardless). Perhaps there'll be less pies during the summer months?”

“Meals are well portioned and taste good. I love the use of carboard and sheeps wool for a more sustainable packaging. Definitly takes longer to make than the recipie time suggests. I love not having to think about what to make when i get home.”

“Overall, the meals have been delicious! The odd 1 or 2 have been average but still ok! We joined Bargain Box to make life easier & healthier & it certainly has!! I'm learning a lot about cooking foods in ways that I wouldn't have even thought of as well. I love not having to think about what's for dinner. Just the convenience of it all is amazing. “The food is OK, a bit the same some weeks, chicken with rice, beef with rice, chicken with salad, repeat repeat. The value is good. Biggest issue has been the delivery which has caused lots of problems . Delivery is too restricted to only certain days, and no Rural RD option which is tricky”

“Good and convenient but more care needs to be taken when selecting vegetables where the size matters. Eg 4 potatoes needs to be 4 LARGE potatoes for when the individual size matters because they are kept whole also broccoli does not last the whole week and will be floppy and soft by about the 5th day in fridge”

“We have recently purchased a new small business which is my wife's full time job. I always have done the cooking and grocery shopping and also work full time for another business and now weekends in my wife's business. Things on home chore list were getting behind and takeaways were becoming the norm as both very busy and tired and having to think whats for dinner was becoming a headache and no time in the weekends anymore to plan and organize mid week meals. What My Food Bag has done is taken the mental and organizing time stress away. We no longer have to think whats for dinner, did we defrost something for dinner or do we need to go to the supermarket after work. Which means less takeaways and healthier eating which has helped us have the extra energy to get through this busy life season we are going through. Thank you My Food Bag you given us mental time and energy back.”
