“Bargain box gives us truer-to-home style cooking than other providers we've tried. We really enjoy the simplicity, clear steps and successful outcomes. Best of all, no waste. We've been chronic for having to throw half-used cabbages or other foods away because we haven't got through using them. There's been a couple of weeks that we have skipped because the plentiful selections did not allow consensus for the number of meals we needed to choose ... but that's more on us; the variety and selection process is great.”

“It didn’t turn up. This was hugely disappointing as I’d ordered meals for my mother while she was in her own. Despite having both our numbers, we weren’t contacted via phone. I did get tracking emails and the last one said it was delivered. Turns out it was delivered - just to a depot in the wrong city. I chased the order and it got delivered four days later which was well after the time I needed it. I’m so sad because I’ve ordered these before with no problem, but I wouldn’t trust them again.”

“Great convenience and the meals are good. However it would be good to have stock cubes included this is often annoying to have to go and buy stock when it would be simple to include in the box (and cheap). Portions for 2 people are good, meal options are good. Would be good to have less plastic packaging where possible - maybe returnable ice packs??”

“Only issue is the peas. When the meal is only for 2 it comes with a packet for 4...lots of peas to be eaten as they are often defrosted when they arrive.”

“I like the bargain box, the meals are healthy which is good and it is well priced. the only thing is that they don’t really have onions in many meals i’ve found + the meat expires quite quickly”
