“I’ve been really pleasantly surprised by Bargain Box. The meals are delicious and there are so many to choose from. It doesn’t feel repetitive. My kids like the meals too which is a miracle. And it feels very worth the price.”

“Meals are great. Have been getting these meals for a few weeks now. There is a great variety and they are super easy and convenient. The only thing I would like to see more of is a few more veges included, especially green veges. Other than that they are fantastic meals.”

“Find the variety of meat & veges very good . Very interesting recipes & the veges are so lovely & fresh. I find the box full to be extremely good value & recipes i have learnt to use. The assortment of herbs spices & dressings amazing so is the rice.”

“Feeling like the ingredients are a bit sparse in a couple of the meals and they should include stock and mayo, not staple ingredients in our house Also this time we were missing a packet of wraps. Not normally any issues with this though just this time.”

“I get quite excited when the box arrives, it's like receiving a special gift! I never used to like following recipes at all and my mealtimes were getting boring, but My Food Bag has made cooking interesting and easier and the end product is always enjoyable. The recipes are well laid out, the instructions are easy to follow, and knowing how long it's going to take to make is a bonus. Making my dinner is no longer a chore, it is an adventure :)”

“I act in plays and work full-time. When I'm in a play, I get my food bag Heat and Eat because I would be out 5 nights a week and I want to ensure I have a healthy meal. If I didn't do this or get my freezer full of my own food, it would be jam on toast and that is not a heathy way to eat!!! I am very grateful to have my food bag, Heat & Eat as an options and particularly because I believe they are healthey and tasty meals. I won't put on weight and my body is getting the nourishment it needs.”

“Love the food. Very frustrated with the subscription service. A few times now have forgotten to cancel the automatic order, and I AM NOT GETTING REMINDER EMAILS, so often losing money when we really can't afford it.”

“I enjoy the service but I do have a couple of issues. 1. Not all recipes are flavourful 2. For 2 people, the recipes use a lot of half onions, half spice packs which creates food waste 3. I have 5 full frozen peas bags in my freezer”

“Absolutely love it. So easy. Always struggle on what to make for dinner each night. I absolutely hate food waste and this helps a bit. Reason for only 4 stars instead of 5 is we don’t get the specific amount of ingredients we get more. Which in a way is good but doesn’t help with food waste.”

“Such a help having to not think about what is for dinner! Means more time with my kids, more variety in our meals, less last minute stops to buy food (and the extras that always come with this). We get 3 nights as the kids still want their favourites. We have loved starting our bargain box deliveries.”
