“Overall I find the meals to be a good size and the quality of the food really good. The only issue we are having is the ice packs are leaking through the box. By the time we get it everthing including the cooking instructions to be soaked and unreadable at times.”

“Compared to other brands of ready made meals I've tried, My Foodbag Ready Made meals are usually well flavoured and well balanced. My only criticism is there can far too many pies in a single week's selection. Especially if lasagna is included. This can significantly limit selection. Its also necessary to add a side dish of veg to serve with the pies (in fairness, I do usually add a serving of fresh veg to have with all of the dishes regardless). Perhaps there'll be less pies during the summer months?”

“While I really enjoy not having to plan meals and trying out new menus, I think perhaps the distance from packing to delivery is too far. Some of the ice is always melted leading to a soggy box, defrosted peas or beans, and some packages and menus getting wet. Last delivery some eggs were broken.”

“We are enjoying the choice of meals and loving the ease of preparation. It's so nice to not have to think "what are we having to eat this week" especially as one tends to get locked into the same things every week otherwise!”

“Meals are well portioned and taste good. I love the use of carboard and sheeps wool for a more sustainable packaging. Definitly takes longer to make than the recipie time suggests. I love not having to think about what to make when i get home.”

“Hey MFB team! Having a food bag makes life so much more easy and enjoyable and we are so lucky to have such service, don’t have to think about what to make for dinner which let’s be honest can be challenging sometimes, all you do is pick and choose meals for a reasonably decent price and most importantly there’s good meat quality. Most of the meals have left us happy and full and some really have that Finger licking wow factor when done right, sometimes the meal is not quite enough for 4 people though I would say honestly. One time we had a missing ingredient and also missing 2 recipe cards but no big deal really. Overall we are happy and excited to try new meals. Thank you! Martin”

“We love the convenience of the meals but would like more low cal options to choose from each week and we find there is a lack of variety. Also the chicken can be a little rubbery depending on the meal.”

“Shocking problem with delivery, with the cardboard outer box sodden on the bottom. And when opening the box discovered all ice packs had melted and food packets were saturated. Unclear how contaminated the food could be and so advised My Food Bag of the problem. They refused to take any responsibility. Cancelled my subscription and all further orders.”
