“I sent this package to my daughter in Christchurch. It was to make things a little bit easier as the funds dry up and exam time is looming. She was so chuffed to receive it and I got just as much joy out of giving and the daily reports of the meals.”

“I ordered the flowers and chocolate cake in the morning for evening delivery which was so convenient. The beautiful flowers have lasted for longer than a week and the chocolate cake was tasty and decadent. I made a very last minute request and was met with no hesitation to accommodate my request. Highly recommend the MFB gift package and friendly helpful service”

“This week I chose 4 meals that had avocados in the meal. Unfortunatley the avos arrived rock hard and even after trying to rippen them up a week later they are still not ready.”

Hi, thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear the avocados in your recent delivery didn't ripen as expected, especially when they were included across multiple meals. We understand how disappointing that would be when you're planning your week's dinners. Quality is important to us, and we'd like to look into this further. Please send your order details to hello@myfoodbag.co.nz so our team can investigate. – Bargain Box Buddies

“Its definitely cheaper than Hello Fresh, and 90% of the meals are really yummy, but I have had 2 separate orders with butterflied lamb leg, and the meat went bad, very fast. Disappointing as lamb is so expensive.”

Hi Francis, thanks for your feedback. We're glad to hear you've been enjoying the value and most of the meals. “Great convenient the kids can cook only thing they get muddles on is when your adding vinegar or mustard would be really great for th if you could say white vinegar or whole grain mustard etc so they don’t have to ask makes them feel confident when they don’t need help. Other from that we are enjoying not having to spend the time meal planning and shopping”

“I just love these meals. They suit me so well. I just dislike cooking and these meals are so well balanced and flavoursome that I would never bother to recreate them at home. I especially love their Beef and Cheese pie anything with pastry!”

“I ordered a delivery of 4 ready made meals to be sent to a friend who is having major health issues. 4 star rating is because I wanted 2 packs as they are single serve and wanted to also cater for her husband. The only way I could do this was to place another order and hope they were sent together. They were and are appreciated by the recipient but it was a clunky way to do it.”
