“Sometimes instructions are a bit weird...and do have to use alot of at home ingredients, but meals are pretty tasty.”

“It is great to take the stress off a busy week and know that we are going to eat healthy and yummy food. My husband loves following the recipes with our teenagers. And so there is less worry about food and always enough for left overs It's a win for us!”

“It's good! I like the meal options but is there a reason when the recipe calls for diced chicken we arent just given diced chicken to start with?? I dont have some of the stuff on hand maybe thats my fault but sometimes the instruction can be confusing sorry dont have an example. My flatmates get annoyed a lot but I'm chill most of the time”

“The meals are good, but you do not really have much choice for pescatarians. We felt the meals were 'sameish' after a while. We enjoyed most meals, but need more choices. Thank you.”

“It's good to not have to think about what to buy / make for dinner. Even 3 nights per week is enough to keep up some variety that we all can enjoy. Some of them have been incredibly tasty! There is also usually plenty of items in the box that is leftover so as to include in another future meal. Also trying foods I haven't utlitised before in meals is great for learning about new meals to make too!”

“I’ve been using Bargain Box for about two and a half months now and it’s been a really convenient option for weeknight dinners. The meals are simple, tasty, and quick to cook, which makes a big difference during busy weeks. It’s also great value compared to other meal kits, so it feels more realistic to keep using long-term. Delivery has been reliable and everything arrives well organised. I’ve been very impressed with the quality of the vegetables and bread that it comes with. However, the cuts of beef have been quite fatty and a bit disappointing. I do sometimes add a few extra flavours or ingredients myself to mix things up, and I wish they used onions a bit more as they don’t come up very often in the recipes. I’m also not a big fan of the plain spinach leaf salads that come with some meals they can feel a bit basic. After a while the meals can feel a bit repetitive, but overall the quality has been good. Overall, it’s a really solid, affordable option that I’d happily recommend.”

“The box can arrive quite damp from the ice packs. The first few weeks had a LOT of coleslaw options I don’t seem to get a reminder to check the meal selection each week (but do get the Tuesday reminder about delivery address)”
