“Got hooked on bargain box. The recipes are yummy and it’s reasonably priced. So convenient. No more asking what’s for dinner. Decent portion sizes too.”

“Overall good service and generally good meals. It’s good that there is some choice now as many meals are quite similar. Variety of vegetables is not great and we have freezer full of frozen peas. I like the fact that after a busy day at work I do not need to think what to cook for a dinner. I don’t like that long term customers do not get rewards so I regularly cancel my order and use other providers for a bit as there is no incentive to stay long term.”

“Generally we are happy with what we receive but it would be very helpful if there was an option to view ingredients contained in flavour and ready mix sachets when selecting. We have a severe nut allergy in our house and it would be great if we could customise to remove any packets of nuts etc in case for some reason they break and contaminate all other food.”

Hi Kelly, thank you for your feedback! We're pleased to hear you're happy with your meals overall. We completely understand how important allergen information is, especially when managing a severe nut allergy. Our recipes do currently display allergen information, so when you're selecting your meals you can view whether a recipe contains nuts or other allergens. We appreciate your suggestion about being able to see the ingredients within the spice sachets, as well as having the option to remove nut-containing packets to reduce the risk of contamination. We'll be sure to pass this feedback on to our wider teams for consideration! Thank you again for the valuable feedback! - Bargain Box Buddies

“Meals are great. Have been getting these meals for a few weeks now. There is a great variety and they are super easy and convenient. The only thing I would like to see more of is a few more veges included, especially green veges. Other than that they are fantastic meals.”

“Absolutely love it. So easy. Always struggle on what to make for dinner each night. I absolutely hate food waste and this helps a bit. Reason for only 4 stars instead of 5 is we don’t get the specific amount of ingredients we get more. Which in a way is good but doesn’t help with food waste.”

“Such a help having to not think about what is for dinner! Means more time with my kids, more variety in our meals, less last minute stops to buy food (and the extras that always come with this). We get 3 nights as the kids still want their favourites. We have loved starting our bargain box deliveries.”
