“Excellent recipes and food. Only had 1 meal that we rated a wee bit below the others, but it wa still nice. The ingredients are always fresh and more than enough to complete the meal. Very impressed.”

“I ordered my first My Food Bag at the beginning of the lockdown and was so glad I did. It meant I didn’t need to go to the supermarket but best of all we enjoyed four nights of restaurant style meals which were better than any restaurant we’ve been to. The quality of the produce we’ve received has been amazingly good. It is fun to cook in a different style and taste flavours that area bit different. We are continuing to enjoy getting MyFood Bag after buying them for several months and intend to keep Enjoying delicious meals.”

“I was very hesitant at first but decided to try the Plant Based Bag - not because I'm a vegan but because I can't eat dairy. I absolutely loved it and I learnt a lot about different foods that I've never tried before (ie tofu, bulgar wheat etc). The portions are generous and filling, so I never felt like I was missing out on anything. The flavours are awesome. Everything comes in neat packages which are well labelled, and all the meals can be cooked in a max. of 35-40 minutes. If you're thinking of trying it, it's well worth it.”

“We LOVE my food bag! So impressed with the quality of the produce, tasty healthy meals, recyclable packaging and how well the boxes are packed and the drivers who deliver are polite, thoughtful and always in the timeframe that’s expected😁 We are certainly committed from here on in. No other food box out there is on the same par. We know because we have tried. I have recommended you to many friends. Keep up the great work! If you wanted to add anything extra I would love to have some dessert recipes😁😁😁 Oh and the little extra surprises that have been received Kombucha and Oat milk was awesome. A really nice surprise! Looking forward to my loyalty treats too.”

“I told my children - I will learn to cook when you are at High School ... when I finish my volunteer job ... when you all leave home ... when I have finished studying ... ... ... and then Lockdown came, my husband couldn't be the designated shopper because of his health condition and I was working from home with more hours but no travel time. My adult children surprised us with paying for My Food Bag for 2 months and I finally learnt to cook!!! I love the home delivery, unboxing the food items, and then readying all the items in preparation to cook. The food is fresh, delicious and nutritious and the cook well she isn't too old to learn, the cooking process is easy and enjoyable - no thinking what to eat and are all the ingredients in the house. I have kept the payments going so Christmas in a box arrives still now!! Thanks my precious ones for the gift. Thanks My Food Bag Team”

“We love MFB! My partner is vegetarian/pescatarian - and I am not! It was so challenging trying to keep meals varied, interesting and nutritious for both of us. Now we have meals 4 days a week we both enjoy on a fortnightly basis. We don’t have the ‘what shall we have tonight problem’ and we are saving money and reducing the amount of food we waste. The servings are generous - so we end up freezing meals, so my partner has something good to eat when I want a steak or chops. We live a fair way out from main urban centre and MFB is one of the few that deliver here. Was a godsend during lockdown too! Thanks guys!”

“We have found it easy and fun to do. It has taught us all a new way of cooking healthier meals in a short time with foods we wouldn't have cooked with in the past. As we have late teens and early 20 year old kids ( adults) at home its been good as its got them cooking and teaching them a healthy way to cook. We get it on a Sunday it takes the stress out of our week. Food is always fresh and recipes are always yummy.”

“We we lucky to sign up for My food Bag just before lockdown so didn't have any problems shopping over that time. Since lockdown has finished we have continued and have had no great craving for take away's or restaurant food. This is because everyday we're trying something new without any really effort and we know we're eating well and healthy. It felt that it was a little extravagant at first but when you compare the price of regular weekly shopping and meal prep plus the price of take away you have and generally there's no wasted, it easily justify's the cost. As you get great recipe cards with all the details you can easily re do any favorite meals on the days off if you choose.”

“We are in our eighties and our children urged us to have Nadia's foodbag at least over the covid 19 period. They have been regulars of Nadia's food bag for some time. However we decided to "give it a try". We are both really enjoying the food bag - yes, lots of chopping and peeling and grating, but have got used to that now. I have learned lots of tips etc. and it is always exciting. The only thing is that when expected to take 30 mins, I take an hour!!! Glasses on all the time and backwards and forwards to the recipe etc but still really enjoying it. Have recommended the food bag to other old friends so hope they are thinking about it too. Well done Nadia!”

“My Food Bag Review Wow! Where do I start? Over the last 10 years, My Food Bag has been our lifeline in the most challenging of times and, more recently, while trying to reduce our supermarket contact time during COVID-19. This has been a huge consideration for using this excellent service. How do you manage to shop for, and feed, a family of 4 (and then some) who have had to travel, who have had to get kids to and from school and sports, and who are now managing to cater for a loved one suffering from dementia and in recent times, have had only one designated shopper allowed. And what about managing food preferences and specific dietary requirements? So whatever the package, 5 nights for 4, or 4 nights for 2, My Food Bag has managed to assist us with prompt deliveries of nutritious ingredients that cater to a wide variety of tastes, in a wide variety of situations. Having the menus, recipes and ingredients up front allows for flexibility around different schedules and tastes while still making cooking times and processes quick and easy. Using My Food Bag, we’ve also managed to get other family members cooking so there’s not always one designated chef!! Mix and match of ingredients has also been an option and an interesting challenge. Whatever package we’ve purchased, the portions are always generous and have often allowed us to send our out-of-home loved-ones away with good food to sustain them during the week. We also love the additional extras, including but limited to – Easter biscuits and ANZAC cookies To Nadia and your foodie experts – please keep it up! You’re helping NZ eat better and healthier!”

“The best advice my son gave me prior to Lockdown. We organised My Food Bag via FaceTime as he lives in Australia. As we are both nearer eighty than seventy and not allowed to visit the stimulus of making a different meal each night was very rewarding. I love cooking but Nadia’s recipes made food so much more interesting. It is a treat to get my box about four on a Sunday to organise my weeks food. Thank you to all who make this possible each week. 😘😘😘”
